I love that you use the comb attachment on your blow dryer! I hate when people say it's too old fashioned. I don't see what the problem is if it gets the job done!
The comb attachment can create too much tension and pull hair out if not correctly used, just like any other tool. I've been team comb attachment my whole life with no problems, but I'm getting ready to go to a stylist who used the Rev-Air and I'm excited to see how it works on my hair (it's basically a blow-dryer and vacuum combined lol).
@@DarlingNikki2 if the hair is properly untangled first there shouldn't be an issue with the tension. I'm a hair stylist as well and there are some hair types that I won't use that attachment on just because it won't control their hair as much as I need it too. But that's not to say that the attachment itself has no use anymore. I've just noticed that recently a lot of people have decided that using brushes is the ONLY way to blow out hair and I don't agree with that. But obviously I'm out numbered because those attachments are so hard to find now lol I've heard mixed reviews with the vacuum but I'm also willing to try it out

@@Antonaes hair with a curl pattern looser than 3B. With my experience, the hair is too light to be neatly blown out without the direct heat that the concentraters provide and the tension from the brush. Instead of coming out straight and neat, the hair ends up looking big and puffy as if the client had a static shock
@@DarlingNikki2 Your hair should always be tangled before you use a blow dryer. Whether it has the comb attachment or not. If you get tension that’s a you problem. Lol.

@cheads9376 I can attest to that. Idk about her hair per se but I had a full head of hair that went down past my butt but it was damaged so I just chopped it off and started regrowing it. Everyone yelled at me but it was too damaged and could not be saved.
@@amelelnaw3499 same, my mom was so upset when I cut my damaged hair and now it’s long and healthy again and she’s loosing her own damaged hair from not cutting it. The best thing I ever did was cut the damage off and refrain from using heat.

I have been enjoying your channel. I went "natural" (no heat, I was already natural) and even with pre-pooing and co washing my hair has became way more sensitive and damaging more. So many RUclips channels act like heat is the devil, but my curls aren't even damaged liked that, it's been a couple months and I'm ready to silk press my hair again!

I’ve learned to do a silk press on myself. Trust me, you need a lot of patience when doing it because your arms will get tired and if you’re a newbie like me you’ll also get burned if not careful 😫

Yeah..I used to have a head of hair like this in my 20s too. Now it's shorter and damaged from heat and color. But hopefully I can get it back. In my 30s though. That thickness sometimes doesn't stay. Mine naturally thinned in my late 20s and was never as thick again despite being healthy.

Even a hair mask wouldn’t Hurt, but definitely use heat protectant if your going to use heat, I would go one year without heat on top of deep conditioning every week, your hair will bounce back for sure🤍

Oil, grease no oil no grease you’re still frying your hair. Heat upon heat upon heat...
Actually, when using heat on hair, you supposed to put on oil on wet hair before blowing it out.. the oil will lock in the moisture and protect it from heat.. if u put on oil on dry hair it doesn't lock in moisture and ur hair wouldn't have been protected from heat with oil

I always wore my hair with clip in's many years ago, loved it, but it's just so draining to do now with all the steps including straight/blow-dry I just dont bother anymore. Being natutal best thing i ever did but Your hair looks GREAT! One of my favorite styles half up half down. I'll try this with tape ins or a full wig when I wanna do straight. 💙💟nice job.
The products make a difference. Well and the skills too. No matter how much I copy techniques, my hair doesn't even look like that.🤣

Her hair is already damaged anyway and also the steam doesn't mean it's damaging the hair it's usually from products like heat protectant that are put on before hand, it's pretty normal
