I'm using z1pro mice that mount huano blue and I must say that they are much softer than the ones I have on my hati!! i feel better with huano and the procedure is quite simple!!
2 Mar 23: Replacement mouse arrived!! Seems ok so far, will update later if this changes. 26 Feb 23: I have just received a proper notification (tracking number) of my replacement mouse being sent, it will arrive in 2 weeks time. Replacement was agreed on 19 Jan.

On the mouse perspective, it is awesome to finally see companies develop mice like these that dont fill your hand up, as you have eluded to, which many people around the world can never find comfortable ( myself included). On the other half of your video, I agree with you 100%. We are (the young adults, say 35 and under) the main customer base for companies gloablly, and we ABSOLUTELY should hold them accountable with our wallets. What happened to good customer service or just generally good products? If we stop paying, they wont have a choice but to offer something decent. You have been very concise. I will also say that the software lacks luster, and the most recent software/firmware update seems to be pretty good! I love mine, but i keep going back to my MZ1 wireless. I find the clicks are too stiff and can throw your click aim off, but tracking feels good. I, too, agree with the Ace version being the better option

@LOG_PILE_Gaming I do finger tip the MZ1 and I also find that I can get a lot more support with my grip style on the MZ1. I can almost lock the mouse in and have a more steady tracking experience. Not sure what it is, but I consistently get better scores when aim training and going back and forth between the mice. It is definitely worth a try. I use the shorter rear back attachment on the MZ1 and that really opens up the mouse in an amazing way.
Love the format and effort that went into the talking points, you were concise, well-spoken and I whole-heartedly agree with you! I am awaiting my HSK Pro currently and even though I have had no issue with G-Wolves products previously when the logistics were handled by Amazon, my experience using the G-Wolves store, their discord and subsequent communication has been dire. My one bit of feedback as a viewer would be the camera quality (resolution, blur and lighting) and the padding on the text for talking points in relation to the edge of the video but you still smashed it!

Focussing on your comment about views of a company due to the early battery issues. Do you look down on Samsung and other cellphone manufacturers that have had similar issues in the pasy as well? People literally had phones popping off next to their beds as they slept. Batteries can only be tested so well, even with the world's best QC. G-wolves was very quick about issuing replacments due to that issue. The rest is bascially all valid. Their customer service is definitely about as unprofessional as it gets and they certainly should be springing for more consistant QC.
Hi Lucas, thanks for the comment, and yes, I think you're right. I hadn't thought about Samsung as an example of similar issues - and I type this from a Samsung phone. I didn't (regrettably) cover all the points I was aware of relating to QC in the video, and maybe put too much emphasis on the battery. It basically highlights that they knew the first batch was poor and they shipped it anyway. the tweet specifically mentions "optimising the shell", which is a huge deal for mice (you obviously know this). Thanks for the challenge sir, I will bear this in mind if I have to raise similar concerns in future content.
Also, as a final comment, the battery in my unit (and many others), although stable, does not charge. So I feel the battery is a big enough problem to have emphasised, but more detail on the other issues would have added to the point.

Good review. I love the HSK Pro 4k but also not using more than 1000hz so yeah the Ace should suffice. After getting used to it over 6 months time I can't go back... Next mouse o will give a chance will be the m3k but traditional mice is not an option after trying the HSK Pro. Highly recommend.
Very good video! Honestly going to stay away from the G Wolves HSK Pro 4k mouse now due to the lack of a reassuring / professional customer support. Pretty appalling haha
I noticed you said you had to use the mouse wired and therefore it was only at 1k polling. However, I'm pretty sure if you use the other wire they recommend using for the 4k dongle you will still be in 4k polling. I noticed this the other day and as long as there is slack on the line it is actually not that bad of a wired experience, fairly decent actually, you'd have to try it to see if it was the same as the more flexible cable but it's definitely passable if that's the only option you have and still want to use the 4k polling.
@LOG_PILE_Gaming so how did it work out? I've been curious to know if it was just a fluke that it said 4k was still enabled. I essentially "found out" because when I charge the mouse I usually pull off the wireless dongle and use the cord it plugs into to charge it so I only need 1 wire on my desk.

You'll definitely need the Software. You'll also need to download firmware to both the dongle and the mouse. Check out my more recent (Long term) review. It may help you a little more if you aren't sure about this being right for you 🫡
Polling rate changes based on how fast you're moving your mice which determines how much it needs to update which does tend to be problematic in a few games with Apex Legends being one of them. You only get the benefit of the higher polling rate depending on how fast you're moving the mouse so it makes sense it was only happening in gun fights but not all the time. I highly recommend trying out 4k in other FPS games though so you do get value out of it. Its not the mouse's fault its the game developers. Higher polling rates are more and more noticeable the higher hz your display is as well. The 4k version definetly isn't worth it if you main Apex but is amazing in games like Overwatch on 360hz+ displays
The stroking effect is from you moving the mouse rapidly increasing cpu load killing your fps. In short your cpu is too weak for 4khz. Don't believe me go on your desktop bring up the hardware monitor go the cpu graph and rapidly swipe the mouse all across the screen without stopping and watch your cpu load percentile in 4khz mode

Many others have commented to say its either the game not being optimised, or the port on my PC I'm using. Hi Matthew, what response did I take out of context? and I am 50/50 about the CNY thing. My main issue with that, is what I described in the video - releasing a broken product that they knew had issues and then not being around to deal with the fall out , i suggested they plan their business better, which doesnt mean "not celebrating CNY", instead I'd suggest they release products at a different time of year. Hey man thank for this video ! I decided to order an HSK pro ACE (purple transparent) coming from maining a g303 SE and having used mice of different shapes and sizes (xm1r, mm720, GPX, pulsar xlite, among others). My hand size is similar to yours 20 x 11,5 cm. I love the g303 and i'm going to get some grip tapes for it when maxgaming restocks the pulsar supergrips but i found that: 1) sometimes i instinctively grab it at a weird angle causing strain over time 2) it needs grip tape in the back so that the "ass" of the mouse locks in the same spot of the "ball" of my palm and most importantly 3) i realized that i mostly use force in my fingers to maneuver the mouse. I also checked the HSK shape in eloshapes and found that its back is similar to the base/charger for my earbuds (lol) so i tried moving that around and it felt natural, so i am assuming that the actual mouse will feel as natural if not better. I placed the order today and i am praying that i won't face the same issues that you did. Now it's a waiting game for it to arrive from China to Greece. Once again thanks for the great, in-detail content. You are really helping your viewers to make informed decisions.

@sing if you have deep pockets, the final mouse ultralight x cheetah is the same weight as the hsk pro, and probably a good alternative (if you have deep pockets). The other 2 options you mention are so expensive that I would probably steer away myself.

Hey Sean, you don't need to install the sticker, its optional. They provide a spare battery that you can choose to install yourself if you prefer longer battery life- but these are all options, not essential.
I am having issues with my ace pro. It randomly dies and won't charge up again until after fiddling with it forever and then randomly it will start back. Really terrible. I suppose i will go through the discord channel and try to get a replacement, as I am fairly certain it is going to completely brick on me one of these times. Seems weird that I can't just email them?
Honestly Adam it sounds similar to my issues, have you tried installing the spare battery amd using a wire? I would message Jim direct in discord (be respectful and you'll be fine). If you get no response, email G Wolves and tell them via the email that you've had no response from discord... i think they send Jim prompts. Good luck man
@@LogPile444 Yeah, I am currently using it via wire. I have not tried the other battery yet. Oddly enough, the way my mouse comes to life again is by taking the brush and moving it back and forth around the sensor and the on/off sensor. No idea why this seems to work, but it will start blinking red and if I can get the software open at the same time then it will start recharging.

Hey 👋 I expect to receive my replacement in aboht 2 weeks from now, I think the 4k issue is a technical issue with both my set up (a powerful laptop) and the game I play not supporting 4k. I really don't think 4k is worth it for me, I guess you will have to make that judgement for yourself. The benefit of the Ace version, is that you will have a slightly lighter mouse at 25ish grams, rather than at 29 grams for the 4k. Doesn't sound like a big difference, but its a fair chunk when it's already that light. Other reviewers that havent had issues with the 4k say they cant notice the difference, so it feels like a nice to have feature rather than an essential feature (to me). Sorry I can't be more helpful my friend.
@@LogPile444 It just showed now, didn't show before. All I saw was a heart and no reply. After doing some research, I too found that it's really not a make-or-break feature to have. Almost everyone that has tried to game with a 4k polling rate has notice pretty much no significant improvement, and as you said, it's a drawback when playing games that don't support 4khz. for what you said about the 4k in apex, it's a common problem that can't be fixed until it's done in the game optimization unfortunately. Some games simply can't follow with the amount of "ping" the mouse is doing at that polling rate (0.25ms ticks at 4k compared to 1ms with 1k polling rate). The best thing to do is if you want to benefit from the increased polling rate, stick to 2K rather than just staying at 1. Depending people it will be noticeable and might also give you the feel that you have more informations sent back from your screen (the better the screen response is, the best this effect will be too). And it'll also increase the battery life span 🤌

I love the g303 and i'm going to get some grip tapes for it when maxgaming restocks the pulsar supergrips but i found that: 1) sometimes i instinctively grab it at a weird angle causing strain over time 2) it needs grip tape in the back so that the "ass" of the mouse locks in the same spot of the "ball" of my palm and most importantly 3) i realized that i mostly use force in my fingers to maneuver the mouse.
I also checked the HSK shape in eloshapes and found that its back is similar to the base/charger for my earbuds (lol) so i tried moving that around and it felt natural, so i am assuming that the actual mouse will feel as natural if not better.
I placed the order today and i am praying that i won't face the same issues that you did. Now it's a waiting game for it to arrive from China to Greece.

I also grabbed a couple of screens from the confirmation page showing the shipping address in a nice google maps mini window and everything seemed ok, in case anything goes awry in the future (which i am hoping it won't). @@LogPile444 Ok, thanks for the answer. My problem with the HSK is the switch, is too heavy for me. So this nre Finalmouse, PMM and Zaunkeonig mouse is freaking me out for the light clicks and more fingertip oriented
@sing if you have deep pockets, the final mouse ultralight x cheetah is the same weight as the hsk pro, and probably a good alternative (if you have deep pockets). The other 2 options you mention are so expensive that I would probably steer away myself.

Thinking if I picked one up I'll have near endgame technology/weight, and when I'm ready to get a new mouse in 2 years the "peripherals race" will have pretty much peaked.

Hey Sean, you don't need to install the sticker, its optional. They provide a spare battery that you can choose to install yourself if you prefer longer battery life- but these are all options, not essential.

I am having issues with my ace pro. It randomly dies and won't charge up again until after fiddling with it forever and then randomly it will start back. Really terrible. I suppose i will go through the discord channel and try to get a replacement, as I am fairly certain it is going to completely brick on me one of these times. Seems weird that I can't just email them?
Honestly Adam it sounds similar to my issues, have you tried installing the spare battery amd using a wire?

@@LogPile444 Yeah, I am currently using it via wire. I have not tried the other battery yet. Oddly enough, the way my mouse comes to life again is by taking the brush and moving it back and forth around the sensor and the on/off sensor. No idea why this seems to work, but it will start blinking red and if I can get the software open at the same time then it will start recharging.

Will you replacement have a fix for the 4k issue your having and would you still buy the ace over the pro? I was looking at buying the 4k version but your video is making me think twice and do more research on this topic.
Hey 👋 I expect to receive my replacement in aboht 2 weeks from now, I think the 4k issue is a technical issue with both my set up (a powerful laptop) and the game I play not supporting 4k. I really don't think 4k is worth it for me, I guess you will have to make that judgement for yourself. The benefit of the Ace version, is that you will have a slightly lighter mouse at 25ish grams, rather than at 29 grams for the 4k. Doesn't sound like a big difference, but its a fair chunk when it's already that light. Other reviewers that havent had issues with the 4k say they cant notice the difference, so it feels like a nice to have feature rather than an essential feature (to me). Sorry I can't be more helpful my friend.

@@LogPile444 It just showed now, didn't show before. All I saw was a heart and no reply. After doing some research, I too found that it's really not a make-or-break feature to have. Almost everyone that has tried to game with a 4k polling rate has notice pretty much no significant improvement, and as you said, it's a drawback when playing games that don't support 4khz.

The mouse needs to be alone in the root, dont use the Next port for keyboard put under in another root USB this thing improve the stability of 4k

for what you said about the 4k in apex, it's a common problem that can't be fixed until it's done in the game optimization unfortunately. Some games simply can't follow with the amount of "ping" the mouse is doing at that polling rate (0.25ms ticks at 4k compared to 1ms with 1k polling rate).
The best thing to do is if you want to benefit from the increased polling rate, stick to 2K rather than just staying at 1. Depending people it will be noticeable and might also give you the feel that you have more informations sent back from your screen (the better the screen response is, the best this effect will be too). And it'll also increase the battery life span 🤌
