my great grandfather was a logger in northern NY, and I have a picture of him and my mother sitting on a cabin porch somewhere, sapling railings, and those high snake boots. He wore them even in town. This video brought back fond memories. He had a ‘39 Buick he would let me “shift” it. I was 4/5 years old at the time. Thanks

Pete, went thru WV and Virginia and couple weeks ago headed to NC to see my son before he deployed. I travel 64 and saw at least two if not three different areas being clear cut. Made me think about ya. Be safe and I really enjoy your videos.

Looks like some good skill both on the saw and dozer. This is close to where I was born and raised in Southern Calhoun County WV. I was born not far from the Braxton County line and went to school at Arnoldsburg. Been through the Duck area many times and knew some people who lived there.

What county in West Virginia is Duck in? Never heard of it and I am originally from there until 2006. I would have cut the poplar back about mid-screen in the video, or at least it looks to me like a poplar.
