I remember playing 400 cost Trenches match in this unit. Did surprisingly well despite using the GM 2 Beam Rifle. But I do agree that it could use the Hyper Bazooka. The Quel needs what it's designed to do, "quel" intense situations. A bazooka with a side of flashes and grenades works perfectly. And since BB has been buffing a lot of under used MS lately, it's certainly likely the Quel could get a buff in the future.
This is a minor nitpick for a very small section of the video, but the GM night seeker and space type (V) are not a fifth mark of the night seeker; if anything, they're the third (and maybe fourth if you count the space type as another iteration). The V stands for Vasuki, the alias that Yazan Gable, their pilot, created after the Gryps conflict in order to hide his past with the Titans from the Federation. Don't mean to be an ass, just particular and trying to get the truth out!
Quel 400-500 cost main here! You have no idea how many people have reached out post matches saying how rare it was to see my suit in action, hell- someone even called me a hacker for using the Gundam Mk II in a 400 match once.
Hey, GM Quel's one of my go to raids for space lmao. It's especially funny when people look at my GM Custom colors and charge. Use it in a close quarters space map and it'll shine, provided you don't rush like crazy. Primary reason I use it is because the Hazel (I love the whole TR series), is based on this MS, with the same generator and whatnot.
The Quel has two weaknesses. The lack of a proper mid or long range option, and the lack of any good build stun option. It would be great if they could give it a machine gun secondary because it would solve both problems at once.
Properly using the Flash grenade is what makes the Quel a threat. The issue is that the flash grenade is not intuitive, and the player has to learn how to use it once for the ground and re-learn how to use it in space.
I've sworn off this game entirely, but damn, the simple Raids really were the most enjoyable. Somehow, having stealth put the game in hard mode for me.
I don't know if I would say the Quel needs a buff. I know I've had some good matches in it. I think the real key to this machine is mastering the flash grenade to bait out evasive maneuvers so that you can follow up with the beam rifle and melee. The beam rifle alone isn't a great weapon to rely on for stagger or damage, as it overheats way too easily with consecutive shots.
Ah, the GM Quel. One of my favourite GM variants, for sure. I do like the MS, but I didn't find myself using it to great effect yet, could you give me a build suggestion, K9? I would appreciate it. I don't mind using it with either the beam rifle or machine gun. I only have the Lv. 1, so far. I tend to struggle with making a decent build for MS in lower costs, mostly due to the low slot counts..
If i struggle to perform well (or just okay) with a suit i tend to focus on defense when it comes to custom parts. leg buffs, ballistic resistance if under 500, beam resistance if over 500. HP and shield custom parts as well.
I remember playing *GM Quel* in the _Artic Base_ , opposite team don't have SUPPORT. That was _f_ moment for me. But still, i keep swing and swing in desperation with _melee combo Lv2_ . 💀💦 Ended up getting like _50.000 points of Pursuit Assist_ or something. Although, my _Damage Dealt only 60K_ .. 😂🎉 Edit: 5:28 - I kinda want it has _Emergency Evasion Lv2_ but, *GM Quel* is the " friendly-budget " of *GM Custom* so.. it is quite understandable. 😅💦
I think in one of my recorded matches i actually got top score when the other team didn't have a single support. But it was in space and on a map with a lot of small spaces for close combat. it was still not easy and one of my teammates really wasn't helping with the friendly fire.

I got frustated, but hey... their " 🤡 " action worth to be shown. 🤣👌🏼 I suppose, i'll try *GM Quel* someday. Someone said, the key to use it relying on _Flash Granade_ . 🤔💦
they need to buff a lot of old weapons. doing that would buff a lot of old units. things like gm2 beam rifle take the heat rate to 75% classic zaku mg and the feddie equivalent buff the fire rate a bit. rebalance old vulcans and MG's entierly. Things like the gelgoog jager rifle. buff the heat rate and cool down between shots.
so after finishing the video i actually have a question. Is the Pixy *Good*? When I scroll on reddit and general youtubers, I hear nothing but bad things. But to be honest, I kick some major butt in that suit. it hits like a truck. maybe it's just because im a PC player, but the rumors on the Pixy seem quite vast.
@@Mobilesuitk9 they basically say that it's the worst suit in the game, and it's almost universally agreed upon. But I have yet to do bad, or see many bad, Pixy players. It's not OP for sure. it only has LV1 stealth, giving a good player plenty of time to react if they're paying attention, and it's a glass cannon. I just think that it gets a bit too much hate. though me personally, im a MK.II kind of guy.
