Video game music is unfortunately overlooked by the mainstream music crowd, the soundtrack for Transistor definitely deserved more attention, and Courtnee Draper's cover of Will the Circle Be Unbroken in Bioshock Infinite was absolutely stunning. The original Mass Effect soundtrack also had some great tracks, and the original Fallout games' soundtracks were super atmospheric and creepy.

I've listened to this every single Orthodox Christmas in the last five years and I plan to do so for many years to come. Christ is born, merry Christmas!
Seth B. This is a circular argument, really. No one can prove what he is saying. Although, many cultures over the world do have ancestral stories of a great flood.
Very good...... as one who recalls being blown away by the Christopher Tin version of this song circa 2005 per first boot-up of Civ 4, etched by the epic impressions of an awesome song I'd no clue would be the first Grammy award winning song ever for a video game, I'd qualify this as a close second to the Ragin/Heriveaux franchise.

I love singing in my choir - when the music comes together after we've all learned the music, it's deep joy like no other. They must have felt total joy singing this one.
When I first heard Baba Yetu I thought It was one of the most touching songs I have ever heard. Some atheist gamers complained that Sid Meier’s Civilization was now somehow “spoiled” by some sort of Christian agenda. Oh, come on. Faith and hope are driving forces of humanity and fundamental building blocks of civilization. I’m not saying this as a religious person, but as spiritual person. I don't need a god to lift me up as long as I have hope and faith that we can reconcile and work together for something better.
+Tuuli Hypén I'm an atheist and it didn't even strike me as religious. Even if it is religious, it still accurately describes the influential role religion has had on our civilisations and culture.
I absolutely love this beautiful song and listen to it several times most evenings. The male soloist has the perfect voice! Many thanks again Sue Fink and ACC.
