  • Vintage Guitar Oldenburg and Tobias Hoffmann present a Gibson ES-339 from 2014. More infos about the guitar at: www.vintage-gu...
The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right). The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper. Additonal layers come from a Electro Harmonix Freeze. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vermuran Jan Ray. The Greer Amps Lightspeed was used as a booster, Delay by a Ibanez DE-7 and a Lehle 1023 as Volume Pedal.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

Love your stuff man. You always have a fresh arrangement and tailor your music to the particular instrument you happen to be playing. World-class. Thanks a lot for sharing your work.

The harmonic content in Tobias' stuff always makes it infinitely more interesting than what is to be found in other demos. This guy is just operating on a higher plane.

Love to hear more of ya just rock out like at the end of this one. A 5 minute hard rock jam.

Lovely playing and getting a sweet tone. The guitar could benefit from the thickness of D style amp, as it comes across a bit thin in a Fender here.
