I hope you are all really well and have had a GLORIOUS weekend. Today is a very exciting day as I get to share with you four fabulous days at Henley Royal Regatta. From Pimm's in the sunshine to sheltering under umbrellas, afternoon tea at Leander to cheering on my nephew as he battles it out on the river. This is such an exciting vlog for me to bring to you and I truly hope you enjoy it as much as I have in creating it.

OMG Leonora, just started following you and realised that my daughter was at Ascot on the same day as you. She is ex Welsh Guards musician so has been to Ascot on both sides. Both my sons used to row for Ross on Wye junior rowing and Ross has a huge affiliation to Shiplake. Your nephew was in the same seat as my youngest. Bow in a quad. The adrenaline watching them race is certainly something. I used to call his team twiglets racing against branches ( treees being the men) because they were so skinny. He joined the Navy and has come home 6’4. I don’t even reach his armpits.
Oh my goodness, how incredibly exciting! I can only imagine the pride you and your family have for Ollie! What a fantastic week of racing! Well done for all their successes and their sportsmanship when coming in so close to that beautiful trophy! The excitement was palpable and crescendoing as the days went on! I was rooting for them along with you and the other Shiplake fans! I felt a bit crazy to get so involved but what fun to have a team of amazing athletes to root for in such a prestigious race! Woo Hoo! 🎉💗🎉 Great racing, Ollie, and kudos to all of his teammates too! 👏🏻🍾🥂🎉

As the Mother and Grandmother of competitive athletes (synchronized swimming) I know how you and your family were feeling watching your nephew row. It almost feels harder on those watching than on the athlete but your nephew and his crew certainly gave it their all and deserve the pride you all felt for him. What a shame that the weather was so miserable for part of it - Mother Nature sure is off her meds.

Very much enjoyed. Might watch this again. The first hat was gorgeous. STUNNING! I had to restrain myself that I'll get to in a moment. The second hat I loved too. Hope your dad did not ruin the straw Panama/Fedora hat in the rain. I sadly ruined a Calvin Klein wool Fedora in rain. I learnt a lesson. Finally got on Friday two new hats. I loved Alex Coll's hat that she wore at the Oaks that I had to get something nearly the same which I have. Mine is in a wine red with a black band and stitched bow around the crown. It has a 6" brim and is wide! Have worn it twice walking woofers and have had so many complements. Worth the money. Plan to wear it to a very good winery here in VA. Second is a bit like your second hat but it has a flounced brim (not floppy) and a ribbon around the crown with a big loose bow in the back. Plain but fun. Former Navy hubby asks that you please send your rain here. Our garden is going to pot. We are in a heatwave and drought. Lastly, I must keep telling myself not to look at anymore hats. I am running out of room to store them, but I can't help myself. Looking forward to your next Vlog. P.S. Congrats to your nephew and his proud father.
