I was in my thirties when Walkers Cay Chronicles first aired in the early 90s I think on ESPN Outdoors, I have many recorded on VHS. I lived for the next episode! Growing up in South Florida I fished many of those same places in the Everglades and still do! Learned a lot from flip's shows!!
Great episode! Great to see them again. When the Tarpon took and he got so excited, I could totally relate and it just made me chuckle out loud because I knew exactly what he was experiencing. It brought back memories of I think my largest to date and Brandon telling me sssshhhh, I know I am trying to not let you get too excited. LOL I don't know how well that worked.
These old films bring smiles to me on the outside and within. The passion and gift with words that all these men possess was a huge part of the crafting of my own life on the water and in the woods. Thank you so much for the memories and for the kinship with characters i've never met in the flesh.
