I’ve owned this figure for 22 years for it for Xmas and never knew about the remote transforming feature. Ofc I was a kid and hated reading so obviously once I saw the steps on how to transform him I tossed the manual. Then again once I got jet fire and overload I never put him in normal super mode and kept the trailer in the closet
You can actually use the hand light in the Super Mode to light up the Star Saber since the sword is mainly made out of translucent plastic pieces. One of the many things in Armada that was never spelled out.
Thanks much! Mine has been in storage for years, and the electronics aren’t working anymore (dead batteries maybe). So, I had to do it all manually. Very helpful!
I know what you mean. when I got my Optimus Prime trailer it didn't have any of the accessories or pieces on it. I had to track those down one by one. I also had to do the same thing with my 1999 rid Optimus Prime
Typically you would think that all you have to do is turn at the elbow to move his arm around but it's better if you twist his shoulder around as well and that will avoid chewing up the armor plating that surrounds his shoulder
Oh, the nostalgia, this was my first ever Optimus Prime.
Same here
@@aegusa12 also mine
This is the absolute BEST breakdown/review for this figure. Step by step helped so much. A++ sir
I get so much nostalgia from this channel

When this figure was first released in 2002, it was going for the $39.99 price tag.
If you're able to get a Naval Commander from FansHobby at a reasonable price. It would be a fun comparison video.
I miss the days when toys were made with fun in mind instead of collectors
Underrated yt channel
Your video was very helpful
No problem👍

You seem to have a nice transformers Armada collection, can you tell me where I find the smaller replacement parts?
Typically what i do is buy part lots off of ebay. Sometimes they have the parts i need.
@@autobotjcb I'm looking for deluxe Armada primes smoke stacks I've searched hours and don't want to buy another 40+ dollar figure to get them.
I have the figure but part for Optimus’s trailer fell off and got lost as well a piece of his big gun.

How do you avoid breaking Armada Prime's golden arms?
What do you mean?
@@autobotjcb You know the gold colored sections on his arms in regular mode? I hear those are prone to breaking
