I like how you guys explain how to do this and what goes into coming up with solutions. I see clearly that your intent is to be supportive of the off-road community.
Dudes, I’m in Texas and I never get to see stuff like this. Thank you so much for showing us what all goes into it. The truck looks great, keep it up 👍🏻
Hey guys , I just found your channel and have been watching so many vids , Would you have a video on showing tube notches and the process for those tricky tubes . You’re work is amazing and you both are really great at talking and explaining processes, Cheers 🍻
I bought 6" flare longbed McNeil bedsides in ~February of 2022. I'm assuming that's what this truck has. I take it they've discontinued them? Guess I'll have to make this set last.
My rough guess for a truck with links and cage front to back you'd be looking at maybe 20-40k for a shop to build. Maybe around 10k to get yourself the tools, materials, and parts to do it yourself.
Well you are saving on an average of 100$ /hr shop rate and probably a minimum of 100hrs build time and those are low numbers, some shops easily 200$+ hr
@@WingsWorldChannel are you guys taking clients or just more focused on building the brand .you guys are amazing at what you do I could only imagine you two in a full shop keep up the work boys cheers .
After you get it going and everything/tube is in the right spot will you fully disassemble the truck and and paint the chassis? Hopefully using STEEL IT? Also who made the current rear fenders?
Great Build! I’d prefer a 3” narrower Fiber Glass kit, that also had a distinct separation between the cab and the bed with a factory finished look. And the single cab from the 98-2011 that was 3 inches bigger inside so the full cage could fit inside. I’d love to have one built by you with a Ford 2.7L V6 EcoBoost, 10 Speed Auto and a factory finish interior with all the options available originally by ford, plus sound deadening and a killer sound system with Apple car play… 33x12.5 tires would be more my style so the glass on all 4 corners could be more subdued and conservative…

That is the goal with these videos! Trying to provide an easier way for people to learn to build these trucks
Dude the range is coming out so sick!
Looking good!
Thanks for the update

Thank you! It is awesome to see people outside of Southern California are interested in this stuff!
This is such a cool truck, just love the work you guys have done to it to get it to this point. Awesome series!
Thank you!
Things are looking awesome. We need some more Fab videos.
😱😱😱😱😱bro you boys are killing it on this build I've been watching this from the start and man that cage and back half looks unique and different.
Good lord that thing looks good!
Ever think to use a lazer to help line up the body lines?
I used a laser level for mounting my bedsides. Best way to check the body lines when you're in a tiny garage with poor sight lines.
Awesome content
Great build series
Love all the hard work
Lookin Siick! Nice work fellas!
Them boys freshhhh

What's up with the bug stuff? More my budget range😅
Can you guys do sort of a more in-depth on cage and back half I want to do this to my 05 fx4 4 door frame is on its way out
Thanks for producing great content I feel I learn something from
awesome
🔥🔥🔥
Christian, the new laser levels are so cheap and efficient now. Would that be a tight space solution to positioning body panels ?
I was thinking the same thing. Lock it in to match the caps detent and then have it flow and align into the fiberglass.
I was conflicted, video was at 69 likes.... but I had to hit the button
The autofab fender washers look like a mini Autofab hoodpin it's even got the spots marked where the 4 holes would go go the hoodpins

How much money do you guys save when building these PreRunners yourselfes vs having a shop build one?
That's truly a great question I wonder that too ?

Shop hourly rates are anywhere from $50-$200/hour, sometimes more. Amount of hours worked depends on what is being done and how it is being done!

Have you seen MCD collapsible bedside mounts on the 6100👌🏼

Hopefully using STEEL IT?
Also who made the current rear fenders?
Yep! This truck will be fully coated, not sure what with yet.
@@WingsWorldChannel benefit of STEELIT is that you can see cracks easily compared to powder coat.
Real
FLICK what that Morgan guy says, poopie diaper rear guards look great
Ya boys looks unrwal
What a dick of a company to not sell you a product that they make, and that you want. Seems ridiculous! 🤨
Is this truck an XLT if so where did you get those fenders
