Beautiful set !! I have always stayed away from floral foils, because I never wanted a full nail as that foil. They way you use pieces of the flowers in your designs is wonderful, and I hadn't thought of doing that before. Think I 1st saw you do it a year or two ago, and you've certainly been upping it ever since. 😊
So Pretty and the only thing I think that could have upped it, is the glitter color. If you had one in the same glass slipper blue, would have been perfect.!! 😊
Very pretty nails! I thought about lining the flowers but didn't know if the polish would crinkle the foil! Now I know it won't! Thanks for the great video!!
I wouldn't think it would, but if your ever scared about something like that happening, just put a coat in between them. Base coat or top coat, depending on what your doing next. Think of it as your protection layer... 😊
Well the gold looks great on camera- just saying. It’s probably antique gold. Very nice set your acrylic application is coming along well. I would suggest you try a slightly smaller brush if you have one.
Your outlining of the petals is perfect! Even if there was a line there, or clear petals to begin with, you were going over it, so it wasn't going to be seen regardless. How you made them was perfect ! I was wondering if a shorter detail brush would make it easier for you. A 12mm or the 9mm, they both work for a french and for outlining things. Your using a 15 or a 20, yes?? Which is good for long lines, especially compared to the short 5mm. But even a 12mm can do both, and sometimes you find you have more control with the shorter brush. I recently saw another creator who swore by using a 20mm at least, for frenches, picked up her 12 mm one day cause her 20 wasn't available, and is loving it more. It gives the nice long thin lines, and does the deep frenchies, and she still colors in with it too. So maybe outlining wouldn't be so difficult for you with a tad shorter brush. And there doesn't have to be one for all. You may like the 12 for long lines and the french, but find the 7mm better for the flower petals... Play around with them, see what you like. 😊
I always love watching your videos, and I just love your voice and hearing you talk, but if I could give one tiny criticism... You don't have to tell us at the beginning of the video, exactly what your going to do today. I mean a brief description of course is fine, something like - I'm doing some blue foil florals, with a multi tone side sweep... Something like that...🤷♀️ It was just after your initial description that you then went on to describe each nail, I actually got confused and dizzy... lol And I just thought it's not needed, I actually liked being surprised as we go. Like you used to do it... I really liked: A) trying to figure out what the design is gonna be. (a french or half nail, etc) B) then being even more surprised as you up it a notch ! (outling the flowers, sugaring the lines or petals etc) and god forbid, you up that to another level !! (and we add gems 😊) That's more exciting and fun to watch ! 🥳 You just never used to do it before, is all and lately you've started doing this extra level of description and in my opinion, it's not needed. But, anyway that's me and my 2 cents worth... 😉 Of, course either way I still loves the video and the nails, and will still keep watching your videos, because I love the art that you do 🥰 So thanks for sharing 😊
