Hugo was more comfortable in this game using both BH and FH effectively, if Aruna could use BH, then there would have been alot of openings for his FH., which have thrown Hug off his feet.
Sad that Aruna Quadri lost this game 😢 However, it was apparent from the first set that his strategy was countered by Hugo and he went on autopilot mode from the 3rd set
Guess Aruna's burned out physically but more important, mentally, after beating Harimoto but he is a beast if in fine form. Don't underestimate him being a 30+.
Quadri is simply too heavy on his forearm for this level. If u are good at placing the ball you will beat him comfortably. He needs to be more balanced both with backhand and forehand and his footwork.
I've never seen Quadri's forehand being defused like that before. Textbook gameplay by Calderano.

Calderano read him like a book and countered perfectly. Game 3 and 4 was just execution of the strategy made in the earlier games.

Well, lets be honest. Calderano has way higher play IQ than Harimoto in general. Thats my opinion.
Unfortunatelly for Aruna Calderano anihilated his forehand very cleverly, very good competition for Aruna though he can be proud of him 🦾
