As a Jessie main, I beg you, please, forget that Shocky exists. Even in heist Energize is better since you healing the hyper-Scrappy turns it into an absolute brick wall for enemies that's eating out safe HP super fast. Jessie's own bounces can compensate for Shocky's bounces, if you're worried about that.

    • @Ornain112

"Ah, I see you've uncovered the *ancient* art of turning Jessie into a hyper-defensive wall. Impressive! But hear me out: Shocky's not just for show it’s for the thrill of pure, unbridled chaos! Because nothing says ‘strategy’ like watching a bouncing bolt leave opponents second-guessing their life choices. Besides, while Energize may give Scrappy some gym time, Shocky's busy having a blast out there, literally. Sometimes, it's not about turning your turret into an immovable fortress but about letting it live its best chaotic life. So, we’ll keep Shocky, thanks-after all, we’re here for fun, not a Jessie TED Talk!" - Kamala Harris

Also a Jessie main and I can say that both starpowers are really good Energizer can be pretty useful on modes like gemgrab heist shocky is far more annoying to deal with especially in hotzone or heist because it can delete you and your enemies for maximum value but both starpowers are situational meaning that some maps or mode one can be more useful than the other

imo the shelly one isn't that bad. While it's true her gadget is most potent in combination with her super, there is still a lot of value to be had with base clay pidgeons. When the enemies are grouped up you can gadget to get a large chunk or completely charge her super back. In addition her projectiles with gadget go as far as a piper but travel even faster, while even having a wider radius with which to hit enemies, allowing for easier cleanup on chipped enemies. Sometimes i find that relying on the super gadget combo can feel restrictive while playing and ultimately being flexible is definitely the #1 way to play on every brawler

Besides that, good video! Most of the tips are pretty useful ( if not obvious, but bad randoms won't learn anything 💀 ).
    Also I have some advice:
-Don't use Bo's super if enemies are close enough to see and detonate the bombs. Kinda situational, but yet useful
-When playing Edgar ( which you shouldn't do ) don't spam the "Let's Fly" gadget, just wait until it charges by itself, unless you need to run away or get an easy kill quick

    Shelly- good tip
colt - bro just hit your shots (bad tip)
bull - dont waste your gadgets (mid tip)
    broc - good tip
    barley - good tip
    nita- good tip
primo- actually this tip is pretty bad his speed starpower is honestly better for most maps
having chip damage is good but if you hit your super then you can probably kill some one by unloading on them the chip damage is only usefull if you *die*
where as the speed is more benifical to close distence and hit the super again and lets you use it at range since you can close the gap between most brawlers
BUT for new players this tip is pretty alright so -5/10 tip
poco - great tip id also like to add only use it when enemys are being overly agressive or if your team needs to heal faster to push
    rosa - good tip
    rico - good tip
jessie - mid tip (its correct but also not really a tip)
dyna - dont use dyna jump if you cant (mid tip)
darryl - dont waste super (bad tip since its obvious)
penny - dont waste super (bad tip since this is obvious)
tick - while tick isnt too good on HZ 2 factors your ignoring are his super healing build where with the correct SP his mythic gear and heal gear he can heal off damage from range faster than he can take it if he times himself right
and 2ndly maps like ring of fire have easy postions for throwers to hide behind and tick is a great thrower for this map
so hes not exactly bad on HZ its just theres better choices like barley - (questionable ? mid tip)
carl- good tip but also you should use it if an agro brawler pulls up on you / edgar jumps on you so you can escape or secure a kill
    8-bit - good tip
jacky - not really a tip to say dont fight your counter
gus - alright tip (not really mid but i wouldnt call it good tbh)
    bo - good tip
    piper - good tip
    pam - good tip
    frank- good tip
    bibi - good tip
bea - dont miss (bad tip)
    emz= good tip
    gale - good tip
    nani - good tip
    collet - good tip
edgar - fire tip dont play him
    stu - good tip
    belle - good tip
    grom - good tip
    griff - good tip
    ash - good tip
lola - good tip (but also nita dupe)
    bonnie - greaat tip
sam - dont waste your super (good tip its easy to do that for him)
    mandy - good tip
    massie - alright tip
    hank - good tip
    pearl - good tip
over all 8/10 video part 2 might bump it up

Good comment but I really disagree with the Tick tip comment.
Tick's healing build is a noob trap, shield gear is miles better because it actually allows you to tank some shots like Mandy's super instead of getting evaporated and well oiled heals well enough as is.
I think a problem that tick has that makes him horrible at hotzone which you haven't mentioned is the fact that his mines are unable to hit multiple enemies and the fact they spread out, if the enemy team is sitting on the zone like they're meant to the damage will get spread out thinly between them and basically do nothing. Which is why other throwers like Barley or Larry are much preferred in hotzone because their attack not only lingers but it can hit every enemy on the zone for big damage.
Of course as you said Tick could be useable in something like ring of fire if you have a good matchup and other throwers are banned but he's far from great there and I would not really recommend to use him there even with a good thrower map.

6:20 As a Penny Main, a mistake that i see other Pennies do is using the wrong build for modes.
Basically, people tend to use Heavy Coffers (first star power) in modes like Knockout or Showdown, which is the wrong pick, as Master Blaster (second star power) is much better since in these modes there are usually more assassins, so dropping Lenny (mortar) right next to you using Master Blaster should make you safe from these pesky assassins and most of the time secure a free kill. Even with Salty Barrel (first gadget) Heavy Coffers generally is worse. The assassin might just kill the barrel before you get any use out of it’s splash.
The ONLY modes that Heavy Coffers works better than Master Blaster, are Hot Zone, Gem Grab (HEAVILY DEPENDS IF THE ENEMY TEAM IS SMART OR NOT) and the new Special Delivery mode.
Now, some advice for using Lenny correctly is: Only throw them (with Master Blaster) at the enemy if the enemy is about to score, to push the enemy to you (IF THEY’RE LOW OR ARE A FREE KILL), if the enemy is using their super to break your goal’s barriers, or if you’re being attacked by a Tank or a Assassin. Any other situation, use them normally-! Wait! If you’re in Solo Showdown or Knockout, save your super to stop assassins.
Only use Lenny as a meat shield if you are being attacked by a marksman and is in a critical situation, or to stop supers that might kill you or your teammates.
My last advice is to know you’re a controller, not a damage dealer.

    Hey, nice video!
I liked how you explained each brawler mistake in detail, similarly to other big content creators. I think you have potential to become an even bigger creator! This video is great advice! There are some facts that aren't executed in a casual match very often, and my randoms should be taking notes from your videos.
Because in my opinion, Tick, like Rico, is basically a 'noob stomper' and is not viable on higher ELO (specifically in Hot Zone), and I sometimes see him in Heist, or even Brawl Ball, and that's concerning. Bibi is a 'noob stomper' too, and like Edgar, is just not a viable pick, and since her attacks have delay, she can be overwhelmed before she can land her first attack, but who knows... maybe there are people who make her look like a good brawler. But, there are better tanks out there!
About Stu, I sometimes autoaim his attacks at close range, since the projectile speed and unload is pretty fast and it's not hard to hit, and if my randoms are watching this, please don't go long dash unless you aren't opening the map. Even with the wallbreak potential, Gaso-Heal is overall better. However, the long dash can be used as practice material, for the avid stu fans.
Another mistake with Bull that I see sometimes (well, since he's forgotten) is people rushing into the enemy, or into the wall, pika-style. They think that they can teamwipe like Pika himself, but that's sadly the only factor that makes Bull's pick rate not rock bottom, maybe besides the base-race potential and possible Frank counter.
As I mentioned before, Bull may be an ego-pick, but is unmatched to Colt. I think Colt is very overrated, therefore the focus on the pizzazz rather than the aim, and sometimes they fire his super into an unbreakable wall...
Overall, every brawler mistake you mentioned is highly practical, and can pave into great skill with said brawler, and lead into higher chances of success in a match. Thank you for making this video, highly helps!

6:45 tick is really good on hot zone, as an offender rather than a capturer (offender being someone who just fights and kills instead of someone who tries to hold down the hot zone). most people dont think twice about a tick and then are surprised when they lose. his map control allows him to deal incredible amounts of damage and place down tons of supers, helping his teammates capture the zone and fight.

14:44 for Hank, not fully utilising the extra speed isnt really a major mistake and in-fact, based on the situation, positions and how much your bubble has already charged, recharging your bubble can be pretty essential (its called bubble juggling).
A major mistake that i would point out is not positioning well or positioning wrong with Hank. When positioning with Hank, you need to keep track and be knowledgeable of your own position, enemy position, the matchup, how much your bubble has charged and other things like if the enemy has their super. If a Hank doesnt know how to properly dynamically position himself based on the current circumstance then they will likely be feeding for most of the match

HI MYTHICALHORSE!!!! great video you have there, since everyone else is sharing tips on their favourites, i will also share some tips on my favourite brawler HANK!!! excluding more obvious ones like bubble flicking, i suppose.
    1. ever blown a bubble but it pops right before you can do anything with it?? try to time your bubble blows to when enemies will actually be in range! for example, imagine you swept all your enemies off the floor and they are now respawning, time your blowing when your enemies' invincibility bubble is out! paying attention to when your bubble will pop is super critical to landing bubble shots! master this skill and youll find yourself frequently resetting your bubble'd charge so it's full when you feel an enemy will charge in, good job!
    2. hank's most dangerous state is when he has a fully charged bubble on hand, his most vulnerable state is when he's not charging his bubble or his bubble is very small, when attacking an enemy, back up when you're charging your bubble and move in when it's almost fully charged, pop it on someone, and then move back towards cover!!!! this is a great way to make sure you only attack at your most dangerous state! i call this strategy the "pull-out method" ❤❤❤ and it works very well when combined with the efficient blowing strategy!
    3. learn to snipe with your super!! the pattern of your fish torpedoes is the same as spike's attack pattern (no curveball, i wish...), so try to hit enemies from a far since they will not expect it 99% of the time, save your super if there's a tank or assassin though... HOWEVERRR! since 2 torpedoes will always shoot out of you from the left and right, those shots are really easy to hit because they are positioned directly horizontally to you! you will know EXACTLY where those will swim off to so try to use those to snipe enemies if you are far into their spawn.
thanks all!!!! when you eventually make a hank guide, you should discuss the topic of charge attacks along with it too! i think they are super unique and deserve a broader spotlight. also, can i have your autograph???? ❤❤❤❤

You need to go and train it right away with somebody rather than hole you'll get 30 Colts in a row or that you'll remember this tip after like few days of watching the vid. Changing habits is generally a hard thing so i guess i'll stay getting sniped by him till i 'retire' from the game...
I think some people either try to stay still in a useless spot or they don't play Mandy as a sniper at all. One mistake i sometimes struggle with is patience. When Focused, don't just use the attack at the first moving thing you see. Conserve your ammo a little.
I don't really wanna make a paragraph, or talk about brawlers not mentioned in the video
But I can already tell that if Kit will be mentioned in part 2, there's gonna be a reference to world finals 💀

      @MythicalForce27  2 месяца назад +1

      thank you so much!
i completely agree with ur thought about patterns, as at the start u have to be completely focused on ur enemy, and if u get distracted then u wont learn their patterns. However, over time, it starts become second nature, but only with practice, so for most people it's probably useless.
if i do a part 2, rest assured kit world finals will of course be mentioned

there's another one thing brock players do that i hate the most specially in low ranges throphy or even in mythic ranks is they keep playing him with jump gadget even in open maps where there's no aggressive brawlers, the gadget is good but for the love of god use the wall breaking gadget in maps like out in the open to break the spawn wall for your teammates 😭 i literally have brock teammates use the jump gadget for HIMSELF only when you could've use the wallbreaking gadget so your entire team can benefit from it the entire game
edit: also thank you for mentioning tick in hotzone i keep arguing about this online that tick isn't a goot hotzone brawler, yeah i get it you play him in hotzone and sit in the back of the game but you literally don't do anything to win the game besides throw mines that deal 800 damage each and enemy can easily counter you with agro brawlers or longer rang/wall breakers

If you're lane-ing against a brawler that grom is strong against and/or if you can consistently hit your shots, you can definitely win your lane and play aggressively. You should avoid lane-ing against counters.

And since 8-bit's shots spread a little at the end, it's actually easier to do it. Also, don't use the machine gun mode gadget in other gamemode that isn't heist, the teleport gadget has way more utility

The ash one is right, ash is a passive agressive brawler, that means that when you face againts brawlers with longer range than ash, you should be charging your super, playing passive around walls and waiting for the right moment to attack, and when you get his super you should use it to pressure the enemies and help you get closer to them.

I use dyna jump very differently. I don't use it every second and don't pretend to be good with it. I use it just as an positioning tool. If an assassin rushes me: try to jump over a wall. I need to get to a better throwing position: skip some walls before the enemy comes and you're good

    • @MythicalForce27

@MythicalForce27 but i say everyone can play it if they manage to find a good use for it without failing the entire team pretending to be a pro. I found success with it so everyone can. The fact that i don't use it to it's full extend doesn't mean it's useless. On penalty kick for example an early jump puts me in so good position to apply pressure before the enemies even get around the wall

The part about griff is a bit one sided, and as a... Maybe griff main? I wanna share some extra info.
Generally, yes, DO NOT waste griff's super at a lone enemy at long range, but if you can hit at least 2 targets twice with one super there's no need to stress about it too much. If you can hit 3 targets, just send it regardless, you'll deal 6000+ damage to the whole enemy team and get 80% of your super back, which is insanely helpful.
And about the whole "insane damage potential" thing, try to hit the super point blank whenever you can, as the damage is... Uh... Insane.
A lot of the times, when you're somewhat near your enemy, closing the gap to guarantee a kill is definitely worth it. And that's not mentioning when a clueless edgar or mortis just jumps into you and gives you the golden opportunity.
Just be careful, griff's HP isn't very high, try to not die a stupid death into a shelly super or something.

    • @MythicalForce27
      @MythicalForce27  2 месяца назад

Completely agree, what I meant was sort of a mid range where ur both safe, but can take advantage of the damage potential the super offers, not right up close to the enemy ofc

I would like to add these following :
    - Shelly : Shell'ys clay pigeon are also a great escape tool against marskman, indeed you can use it in order for them to get back, more back that they would do with your regular attack.
    - Brock : the missiles are explosive, making a small range of attack making it possible to hit multiple ennemy but also hit more easly. Indeed, with the small radius of the explosion, the ennemy can get caught in the attack even if he dodged the missile. This is why brock is waaaay better at long range than short range.
    - Barley : the only mistake you can do is to take him (joke)
    - Nita : the only viable strategy where you can use Bruce at long distance and then go away, is the diversion. The only time you could use this is when you want to flee/escape or make yourself a way while the ennemy is busy dealing with the bear.
    - El primo : His super can be used as an escape tool too. In brawl ball / Heist you can use his super to get to the safe/ball faster and safer.
    - Poco : Don't forget that the healing star power is great, and the fact that Poco is a HEALING brawler meaning that you will have the best value with him if you stick with one of your teammate.
    - Rosa : Rosa's super charge is quite fast, don't worry about using it regurarly, unlike a lot of supers in the game, Rosa's one has high value when you use it whenever you want to move to the ennemy/finish kill/Escape/Support/Meat shield for your teammate. With Rosa don't hesitate to use her super.
    - Dynamike : DON'T USE HIM IN OPEN MAP WITH NO WALL GODAMMIT.
    - 8-Bit : Don't forget about his first star power (mainly in heist mode), I see a lot of player never use where in my opinion the first star power is better for multiple reason : 50% attack buff is HUGE, his wide range make protecting the turret behind a wall WAY MORE easely due to the fact that more area is covered so your teammates are more likely to receive the buff. Like Poco, don't forget that 8-Bit is still a support brawler meaning that his best value are with his teammates.
    - Bibi : Keep in mind that if you want to finish a brawler, the knockback bar can play against your favor. Be mindful on what purpose you are going to attack : finish kill ? Or just make pression ?
    - Edgar : same as Dynamike, IF THERE ARE NO WALLS JUST DONT PLAY HIM ! Also, keep in mind which brawler can knoback/short-range-kill you when you use his super. Activating his super recharge gadget in the beggining of the game is not a bad idea espacially in knouckout.
    - Stu : one of the most difficult brawler to master so far because you need to constantly use his attack combined with his super forcing you to switch between super and main attack quickly.
    - Belle : her bouncing gadget add range to her attack.
    - Lola : I don't agree here, yes you shouldn't throw her shadow to the ennemy's face but you shouldn't use it on yourself either. In fact, it's better to use it to attack someone you can't take where you are. Or use it a teammate's support while you are fighting another brawler.

For 8-bit: please, forget about speed starpower in 3v3 modes, it is the most selfish sp that is not even that good. If you want to move faster and do not care about helping teammates, just use Colt or Rico. Booster's Booster sp is a lot better, since your super can spread to a lot longer range and even +15% damage bonus, making your whole team too strong for enemies to handle if placed correctly

Ah, Maisie players-thinking they can just spam shots from a mile away and magically hit something. Newsflash: Maisie’s strength is up close, not when you're trying to snipe from half the map. You’re just asking for trouble trying to play her like a long-range brawler. Her shots are precise, sure, but they’re built for close-quarters combat, where you can make the most of that burst damage.
The mistake here is obvious: trying to be too fancy with a character whose power lies in being in the thick of things. So, instead of pretending you’re some sharpshooter, try actually aiming for the fight, where your shots hit hard and fast. If you’re not using Maisie for that up-close power, then what’s even the point of picking her in the first place?

Ah, yes, the classic “I’m gonna be the next SniperBS” mistake. Let me guess-you’ve seen a few highlight reels, and now you think you can just pick up Piper and start hitting 300-meter shots like it’s nothing? Newsflash: replicating someone else’s clips doesn’t automatically make you a top-tier player. It just makes you look like you're playing the game with your head in the clouds, ignoring the fact that those clips come from experience and precision, not just luck.
People forget that playing Piper isn't just about hitting perfect shots-it’s about positioning, timing, and knowing when to not shoot. Trying to be someone else only shows that you’re more focused on flexing like them rather than actually playing to your strengths. So go ahead, try to replicate those clips. But when you end up dying every time you miss a shot, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
