Hahaha oops! :steamclueless: Good catch tarihi! To give the old me the benefit of the doubt, I guess that works for the "best general stealth build" (like jack of all trades, master of none), but the saw stealth specialized build I released shortly after that was a lot better for sure :D
@@nicotine_twoshot Haha that might be true in real life, but for PAYDAY where you can have multiple profiles and always be a master of all trades (relevant to the current heist), that is the superior option by far!
It's interesting, the most common question I get when I play with new players is," How do you loop the camera". I respond with "Skill Issue" everytime....
as far as pistols go, the 5-7 is probably my favorite, that bullet penetration can save your ass or make some ecm rushes that much faster and safer (like Diamond store) while keeping pistol skills bonuses.
Very smart choice Salok! I also ended up recommending that one on the TOP 5 Stealth Weapons video: because it has the great benefit of pistols (faster swap speed, especially with Equilibrium; leading to faster interactions), with the added bonus of wall penetration!
Thx for the guide bro. I just got into this game, and I was completely lost in the first few hours. Its so much stuff to mess with, perks, skill decks, weapons, weapon mods, loadouts, assets, etc. etc. With your guide explaining everything in detail and why you make these choices for the build, it makes my life a whole lot easier. I'll definitely give this build a try
You're absolutely welcome Dynamic! Glad the skill explanations and justifications were useful for you :) If you ever have any questions about any heists, don't hesitate to ask!
@@Marcmb@Marcmb just tried the build. Why the hell would you make the game easier? How are you this smart and good when making builds and in gameplay?
@@Marcmb Hey bro thx. The game was intimidating at first, but the more I play, the better I'm getting at it. This Stealth build is awesome btw, I'm having a blast playing with it. I was already enjoying it using regular hacker, but now that I fully unlocked copycat, I'm using copycat-hacker, and its truly busted lol. Now I'm trying to figure out a build better suited to deal with loud heists. One thing I'm still struggling with is Captain Winters. Every time he shows up in my heists, me and my friends get our asses kicked, lol. Any tips to deal with him?
@@fenixo7443 I'm good bro, I copied some OP loud builds and was getting into DS. I've completed a few loud heists on DS but the majority of heists require much knowledge about the game spawns and assault mechanics, and at that point I got bored of the game, I'm playing something else now lol.
Glad you liked the build, onyxkitten, thank you! I will absolutely continue making content when PAYDAY3 comes out, for both games most likely :D I'm really looking forward to it!
as a former console player and now new PC player, learning and studying all of these new weapons like the 9mm Cavity, the perk decks, the new maps, etc. is a bit of a daunting task, but i thank you greatly for this video, especially given that it's relatively recent - compared to other videos from other channels 2+ years ago, cheers mate.
Great guide, thanks! Would love to see you make one of those Tier type of videos where people put certain stuff anywhere from S to F, and make it about stealth heist difficulty and/or payout.
Hey yao! I have plans to make one ranking the best stealth heists (in terms of gameplay, or XP efficiency perhaps...) but I would like to get a good microphone first, and do voiceover for those types of videos! I think that would be good :D
Finally got round to watching this and luckily most if not all perks/skills shown in the video are on console so I might have to use this to create a better build 🙏
Hey there TD! Glad some of these tips sounded interesting :) If you modify your current build slightly, I hope you will enjoy the new one! The Akimbos to push corpses are especially powerful.
Instead of Concealer, I was running Protector to give a larger boost to Transporter Aced. But I never tested it to see how much of an increase it was. Guess it doesn't matter as much now with Copycat being a thing.
Protector can mess up molotov zerking but is a good choice otherwise, until copycat came in and now extra carry speed has no effect unless using artifacts
Hey Telvanni! I also used to recommend Protector personally yeah. The Transporter Aced bonus then goes from 2% speed, to 5% speed, which is great. However, as *@thetissuebandit* mentions, it is useless for gold-tier now, and it makes zerking trickier, _and_ you have to ensure people equip it to their 3rd bot, to not mess up HE Judges (for SW) in duo setups... so at this point it's more trouble than it's worth, sadly :(
@@blasbobeggings9880 they updated it where if you lost that stuff you have it back automatically you just have to click on all the relevant side jobs again.
fringe situation, but rogue's swap speed really helps optimize time on interaction heavy heists for the same reason equilibrium does, but usually its never worth it :(
@@resudog858 copycat used to have a 320% swap speed bonus on the same card as the 10 kills to reload the other weapon perk but the swap speed bonus was later removed and replaced with something much less nice.
Glad I could show you that detail, TheNobody! It's useful in some heists, when you want to read some clues, but there are guards in the way. Very safe!
Hey Marc, cloaker here. I just wanted to thank you for making such incredible and entertaining PAYDAY 2 content, can't wait for the PAYDAY 3 content soon! :) I'm planning to pre-order the game, I'm still not sure which edition I will buy, guess I'll wait.
Hey there Cloaker! New account, or different "cloaker"? Glad you're still enjoying the content, and I am also really looking forward to PAYDAY 3 :D I can't wait!
Great video Marc, I did 2 new stealth sets, which are based on the one in this vid, one for solo stealth and one for stealth with my friends. It works really well Thankyou! I was wondering if you could do firestarter day 1 stealth guide, I think it would be fun as it's not even intended to be done stealth.
Thank you khaled! And it is a very good idea to make multiple profiles, especially because you might want different skills when playing with a crew. Glad I was able to help! As for Firestarter DAY1, I have plans to upload a guide for it (with all the hangar variations, tips to clear each one, etc...) but I'm not sure exactly when! As soon as I have some time :D
Hey KindaBored! Excellent choice as well. The launch speed is the same for all shotguns, but it does change based on how close you get to the target, and the exact angle.
That's a valid choice for your first stealth build, that's good! It's not as powerful in utility compared to the Pocket ECM, or the speed of the Yakuza, but it's a solid choice for starting out :)
If you increase the accuracy of shotguns, the spread will be lower. Usually you would want more spread as you can hit more targets, bit in your case if you increase the accuracy there is less of a chance of the shotgun missing where you click, and at that point it becomes up to the user if you shoot windows or not lol. Oh and don't use AP Bullets for stealth, they might seem useful, and they have there limited uses, but they overall will mess you up more than anything!
Akimbo Heathers are good, for the purposes of pushing bodies after killing them! However the Mark-10 can reach more concealment (and I believe better reload and clip size), so that's why I opt for that one always! CAR-4 can indeed reach insane concealment since the latest weapon pack, as *@fiyah* mentioned, and the advice regarding accuracy on shotguns that *@immortal* mentioned is also correct!
Thank you very much, iscrollinthecomments! I'm hoping it will spread some awareness about good builds, and good stealth skills :D Burglar is a bit sad nowadays yeah... because it's outclassed by Yakuza in speed, outclassed by Hacker in utility, the Copycat variant ruins the deck completely, and the bagging speed can be achieved as well by using Equilibrium-pistols instead. Overall a sad state for the Burglar deck, which used to be the best for stealth! Note that it's still a good choice for beginners of course (providing passive bonuses without needing any inputs), but after some point it's good to move on!
Glad you liked it killer, thank you! I feel like build priorities are often one of the hardest things to learn / understand for new heisters, so that's why I focused on that quite a bit :D
With all the infamy grinding, could you make a video showcasing recommended early game builds? some that can help you play on Mayhem at lvl 50-60 since most lvl 100 builds require all of the points to work well
If you to go to around 5:26 in the video, Marc explains his recommended build order, while not including weapons in the early build, if you take the concepts from his weapons and apply them to others guns that are lower level, you can be just as successful
Hey patitochico! As *@immortal* mentioned, the recommended build order at 5:26 is what you would do at low level, for stealth. For LOUD infamy farming at low level, sadly I don't know as much, because I do most of my XP farming through stealth, sorry about that :(
Not sure how much this translates to PC but If you want a loud build for the 50s that will last up to deathwish, Anarchist with bullseye and jokers while using grimms or goliaths with the 5/7. From there i go for frenzy aced, overkill basic, lowblow basic if using grimms to keep concealment low i ace it if I want to use other weapons.. Snipers will be your bane if they catch you, but as long as you don't just run about in the open you should have no issues. Bloodthirst+pumping iron aced is actually a great way to deal with dozers in DW and under that I try to shove it in every build.
"you will often hear fools saying "just max out the entire shinobi tree"" Don't call me out like that homie. Very well put together guide. I subbed. Hope to see Payday 3 content when it arrives
Hahah sorry about that, imrelammers! I did add "no offense" though :p Glad you liked the guide, and thanks for considering subscribing! I will absolutely still be around when PAYDAY 3 arrives :D
A good tip to got copycat fast is repeting the jewlery store heist until you get the 250 bags, you can finish it in 5 or 6 minites in the max difficulty and you take 9 bags per job.
That's an easy heist to get it yup! With more experience you can also solo Shadow Raid in 5-6 minutes for 12 bags, and if you're ECM rushing, there are some heists for nearly 10 bags per minute!
@@Smoke_robberBR Diamond Store is indeed a solid one yes! Although most of the time it has only 18 bags (with a random chance of +1 or +2). That's a common one when ECM rushing, with the average of 10 bags per minute that I mentioned with heists like Diamond Store, Shadow Raid, Black Cat, Border Crossing...
I have a high concealable sniper in primary for taking civs that run out of bounds for me personally since it happens and then I cant do anything about it even though the heist was going great. Also just wanted to note that the akron with exclusive set is currently best bot weapon in the game
Grom, contractor or desert? The first two are nice with 26 concealment but the desert is much more preferable imo since it can 1 shot body shot gangsters on ds-od when alerted and it still has 24 concealment.
Hey Tom! The Grom is indeed an excellent choice yup, I recommended it on my recent "TOP 5 Stealth Weapons" video, although the 5/7 can work as well. Both really good! As for the Akron, I considered mentioning that (I saw the KevKild video explaining it), but apparently it's only good because of a bug (misplaced decimal point in the damage stat, giving them absurdly high damage), so I decided not to mention it, since it will be obsolete as soon as it's patched...
@@Marcmb Oh really I watched the same video but I didn't realise that it was because of a bug with the damage stat. Grom def helps a lot I have been loving it being able to take out camera security then running to the door without getting spotted
Thank yoou so much for this video my guy i just realised i had spent unnesessary points on cleaner aced because i always have ecm primary and body bag secondary so i can carry 1 bodybag case anyway
best vid with details ive ever had seen for steal(th)!i would place the "crew management" at the start of the vid, because this is my most seen "i dont know about it" from beginners.
Haha thanks Oliver! I wanted to make it as detailed as possible, because I often see new heisters maxing trees or guessing their skills, without fully knowing what each skill does. It's true that the "x4 interaction speed" thing is a very common question among beginners! But it's a very boring topic so I felt it was best to leave it for the end... :(
Thank you for this video, very useful! I have few questions: 1. Why the TOMBSTONE shells are the best ammo type? 2. Why you using Locomotive but not the Judge or Gecko? As I understand Judge little bit better than Locomotive because it has better concealment level, but also Gecko better than Locomotive and Judge because of the concealment level and because it’s a pistol so it has faster interactions. 3. The launch effect (launch distance) on Gecko the same as in any other shotgun? 4. Can modifications on Gecko affect the launch effect? 5. As I know, for the primary shotgun the best choices will be Raven (in case you just don’t like how akimbo looks like), Akimbo Gecko, and Akimbo Judge, because of the law concealment level. Do they have a difference in launch effect?
Marcmb uses the Locomotive over the Judge/Gecko because of higher damage. It has the ability to kill Murkies (guards on Shadow Raid, Murky Station, etc.) in fewer shots, which can preserve your run.
Great video! My new favorite GPS Bow wasn't mentioned, but that's fine 😁 I've been watching your videos for a while and I think you're the best stealth player and youtuber there is, though my knowledge of youtubers might be limited... Do you happen to know anyone who makes videos on a similar level as you do? Looking forward to watch you heisting in PAYDAY 3! ❤
Haha thank you TrueProfesional! I added a mention of the video where I explained the GPS Bow (glad you liked that!! :D) but I didn't want to repeat all that useful information here, because it would be very long! Thank you as well for all the nice words, and I don't know about other creators who make detailed guides for stealth... but you might enjoy KevKild, who makes in-depth guides for _loud_ heists, or Carrot, who makes in-depth guides for the _loud perk decks._ In a way similar to mine, but for the loud part of the game! As for PAYDAY 3, I will absolutely still be here yup :D
@@Marcmb Ah yes, I watch Carrot sometimes, didn't know about KevKild though, they have good videos, thank you! I also watch b33croft's tierlists (sadly he isn't active anymore... or there isn't anything to be tierlisted anymore :D), TheKknowley for fun challenges and lore. And in my old days of heisting I used to watch nanookmetaal for stealth guides, Cloud Dasher for fun videos, M0rtifer for high (75 / 99 / instant) detection risk stealth, also GeneralMcBadass and Uncle Geldgeil :D
@@TrueProfesional Some really good choices in there yup! Unfortunately many creators got mad at the U237 changes, and a few of them have quit... very sad :(
Intresting, i did learn on my own how crazy good copy cat is set up with hacker + movement. But i i never considered the utility of some of the skills you shown. Im curious about your opinion on carrying a sniper in stealth, i thought it actually made some scary moments more manageable with it's high damage and wall piercing ability
Glad I could show you some new things Lunas! Good to hear :) Regarding the snipers in stealth, I actually showed some applications of that in a recent video (TOP 5 Unusual Stealth Weapons), where I recommended the Grom Sniper Rifle, or the 5/7 Pistol, for some wall-penetration applications. It's definitely very cool whenever you get an opportunity to use them :D
Good build for players that know what to do on set maps, but bad build for casual or public lobby gameplay + theres no such thing as "best" build, dont get me wrong it looks like a good build but you cant really make a build that would have everything and would also be able to "carry" public lobbies. And for the end its not a bad build if you ace the entire shinobi tree, sure its not optimized but it sure aint "bad build" after all shinobi tree is what makes stealth build work as a stealth build.
Hey there pinki! For the "BEST BEST" one you would certainly need things like multiple stealth profiles (I personally used to have 13, back when Infamy 25 was the maximum), to swap between things like double Body Bags / ECMs / Trip mines; loud drills vs. silent drills; ECM overdrive in some heists... so it's true that you can't have a _single best build,_ but you can have the KNOWLEDGE to adapt your build to each heist (kinda like what you mention about players that know what to do), especially if you have limited skills points and you're following an infamy farming rotation! Also I recently noticed that you're gone from the server! if you're taking a break from Discord that's fine, but if not, get back in there because PAYDAY 3 is just around the corner!!!
@@pinki_ninja2230 Aww sorry to hear that, I had no idea something like that was going on. I did give some people a few permissions to warn people who are misbehaving, but no one has permissions to mute, delete messages, or ban (only permissions to give cosmetic role colors, and to remove people from voice chat)... I'll look into this!
Love the video! Just wondering though, is there any reason you use a Locomotive 12G over a Judge? Is there any technical benefit or is it just preference?
Thanks a lot Charlie, glad you liked it! It's 100% down to personal preference. The Judge is better on concealment (slightly), and the Locomotive is better in magazine size and reloading. Plus visually I prefer the latter, so that's why this is my choice :D
@@andyl8902 Oooh I am so sorry :( That video is still a Work In Progress, so I only have the thumbnail. The video will be about Yakuza and Copycat-Yakuza (amazing stealth perk decks), but it's not quite ready yet!
Personally I prefer the saw, on Firestarter DAY2! I like sawing through both doors as soon as the alarm is done, since I can easily rush the escape without issues :D
@@Marcmb Best is a matter of opinion. Saw in my opinion useful, yes. But it so fucking big on the screen and i don't find good mods to fix it, only fov increase. And because of huge saw you feeling like fat fuck. I know that saw is useful mostly times, but i think you can swap ecm skill for saw and that will not be a mistake. (If you know what are you going to do ofc)
Hmm I could think about it... but the truth is that I play stealth only 99% of the time, so I know a lot more about stealth. That's why I don't do loud content most of the time :(
I remember you using a mod that showed the distance some npcs are away from you, what is that mod? And also what is your favorite legendary skin? Mine is the anarcho, it makes the judge look good, I use a mod that makes it silent in a way as if it had the silent killer suppressor so it's fair as I want to use the skin for stealth.
Hey Radek! The mod is PocoHUD. My recent video about Update 240.7 has a section where the setting is shown plus how to enable it. As for my favorite weapon skins, I like anything that makes my weapons look blue!
I’m probably being really dumb but to unlock t4 skills I need to invest 18 points instead of 16 that you showed in the video which makes it so I can’t get frenzy for example without having to invest more points
You have to Infamy one time. Quote from wiki: Infamy 1: First infamy reward is a 10% skill point requirement reduction, lowering the required skill points spent to unlock the top skill of every tree from 18 to 16.
Hey mathieu! Just as *@fiyah* guessed basically: I will be playing both, making content for both, and hopefully streaming both whenever I have some time! I will focus on whichever game the people want to see more, since I will most certainly enjoy both :D
@@Marcmb Got it! I was hoping you would still post content on payday 2, even though I bought the game about a year ago I recently got hooked by the stealth side of the game. The guides you make are incredibly useful! Hoping to see guides like these when payday 3 comes out!
Haha technically true, yeah! There aren't many "useful" things in the Ghost branch, outside of the basics, so you get lots of points to get cool utility stuff!
Hey Davys! Sorry for the late response. Actually it's still possible to get it, you have to secure 250 random bags in total! I recommend just playing until you reach 250/250 and it unlocks...
Hey Dromaeosaurs! That is indeed an excellent skill :D I made a standalone video about that skill, but I didn't want to repeat it in this stealth build video, because it's a very specific niche!
Hey Electro! That is indeed a thing to consider yup. I've been playing for so long, that I don't remember which particular attachments are locked behind DLC or tricky achievements. If the option recommended here is locked, always go for whichever alternative has the highest concealment stat!
at the end of the day there isn't a universally best stealth deck imo. You have to know all the skills well enough to fit them in the type of heist you're gonna play and make multiple builds accordingly
That is correct yup! That's why the "base" of this build only requires Level 53, and the rest are recommended skills (all excellent) that the player has to pick based on the heist. That's also why I tried to explain what each of the skills does, rather than just offering a 120-point build, and no further information! Hope you enjoyed the video :D
Hey zach! It affects the time from the moment you pick up a bag, until you either throw it (any loot) or sprint with it (light loot). But then the time until you can pick up the next one is gated by the Bag Interaction Cooldown, which I explained on a separate video.
That might be the best specialized build, as it shows us minmaxing, that is mostly a case for loud heists. However, my perception of a stealth build is versatility, not specialization (which is the case with loud DSOD, though). Never tried Copycat, as I stopped playing PD2 when it was introduced, but it definetly looks better suited for stealth-only. The usual Hacker, however has potential to hold off the enemies for a while, when someone messes up near the end of the heist, or for First World Bank loud escape (for more exp). I also doubt that anything in the zerk tree is necessary for an average player, unless he uses Yakuza. Saw with sharp blade and saw damage increase skill already do a good job on their own.
I like the feedback Medium, thank you! It is indeed quite specialized, since you give up some things like opening doors with ECMs, so you have to know what you're doing ahead of time, to pick your skills well. It's mostly focused around building up trees while Infamy Farming, that's why I focused heavily on the useful utility! The point about Hacker being useful for loud endings (or when someone messes up) was brought up by some people on the Copycat video, and it's very true! If you plan to keep things sneaky, Copycat-Hacker is strictly always superior, but if there's any chance of loud, consider thinking about it. As for the saw thing, definitely go for silent+sharp (good!), but while the saw skill gives a significant increase (+40% DMG), the Frenzy combo gives you +100%, and that's even before zerking (going up to +250%...), so it really is insane in comparison! A lot more expensive too, but it's stealth after all :D
ARE U READY FOR PAYDAY 3?!(The only sad thing for me is I think it that ps5, pc and Xbox exclusive and I have a ps4, plus I want the collector edition too)
Really looking forward to PAYDAY 3 yup! Some people are saying that aiming for high-end consoles is good, because it will make it easier for the devs to make a better game that doesn't need to be adapted to "older" hardware... The crossplay sounds amazing though!
Haha yup! I personally don't really like the way the weapon looks (it's tiny compared to the heister's hands), although its stats are incredibly good, so I have to own one in my inventory...
Definitely yeah! In fact the base that I mentioned that "anyone" should get is only for Level 53, and after that I didn't specify any order for the further utility, since it depends on the heist and your playstyle! :D
Wow, someone actually telling you how to play Payday properly. Most people just tell me to uh "take improv lessons" or just quit on me when I have questions. Great community around this game 🙄
You know you're early when there are less views than subscribers, I fuking hate payday 3 being 40 god damn dollars cause you could feed a family of 15 with that bruh.
Thanks for the early comment sadmoment! 40 dollars is quite a bit yup, although I'm glad they didn't go for the high-end prices of 60 dollars, which some developers have been using lately...
@@Marcmb In my local currency, its 1,500 PHP for base game (30$), but here in my country, it feels like 100$ because you could buy so much. But yeah, glad it isnt full out 60$, because it would also cost 60$ in my local currency (from most games that have the same price) Fun fact, 1,500 PHP / 30$ can actually feed a family of 10 here.
Hey VADemon! It's host only unfortunately, but it's neat because clients can shotgun-launch as usual, and then if you're quick as the host, you can extend their push slightly by using these high-RoF weapons.
Hey OGui! The linked video explains in more detail, but it's basically because when the enemy is unalerted, they die in 1 hit regardless of ammo type, and when they are alerted, the poison prevents them from shooting while they slowly die. That's the main thing but there are other scenarios and advantages, explained in the Tombstone video!
yo could you please just tell me a single best build(weapons and skills) for stealth as the final skills got pretty confusing where I need to choose which one to play with?(or maybe just tell me what you run the most please)
Hey Kendrick! Follow this video, and remove the drill skills, and you will have points for everything. Next weekend I will also upload a video that shares my skill build and weapons, with just one single choice, the exact same one that I use!
I was wondering, in your videos and guides you always seem to be really quick in lockpicking, however I am much slower for whatever reason. I have nimble aced, fully upgraded hacker perk deck and a quick bot boost but I still am much slower than you. Do you know why this could be? Thanks!
Hey Loaf! If you have Nimble aced, and the Quick boost, you should be just as fast as me. Keep in mind that the bot boost only applies when playing with bots! Is that it?
I would need help not so much to create profiles regarding playing on what difficulty and stealth or not but regarding completing the heists on maximum difficulty
Hey mattiag! For most heists, I have an in-depth stealth guide with all the tips and knowledge you might need. Let me know if you have any questions about those!
hello, i am interested in working on my own stealth build however i am on console, Xbox one to be exact, however i want to try and learn from this video is there anything i need to be aware of aside of the skills, what perk deck and what primary and secondary i should invest time in. thank you
Hii!! May i ask why do you prefer team boosts over concealment boosts? I usually prefer concealment boosts because of the saw, i feel that i get way too exposed with more than 10 detection risk, is it not really that necessary?
Hey hardal! I am really looking forward to it, and I will be playing it on release, and making content for it! Perhaps some streams, depending on how much time I have... :D
My personal stealth build is rather interesting, I take stuff like Berserker aced and Frenzy basic (I use Yakuza cuz speed funni) but I don’t take Controller skills because I usually just kill the civilians like the dummy that I am. I also don’t really like using trip mines so HVT aced and Sixth Sense aced are the ways I mark NPCs. In total, I take no skills on Mastermind, Transporter basic on Enforcer, Jack Of All Trades and the 2 first drill skills aced on Technician, the average entire Shinobi tree aced setup along with concealment skills, SW aced, and HVT aced on Ghost, and of course, an average Frenzy setup on Fugitive. My weapons are a bit random, but as of now, I use Locomotive and Akimbo Micro Uzis
Hey there Killer! Berserker and Frenzy is indeed amazing yup, especially for Yakuza / Saw. Controller can be skipped, but I like the extra range on marking / dominating guards! The fact that your weapons are somewhat random is good too. Frenzy setups give you lots of damage, so you can use almost anything! As for the nickname on the Judge... I don't really like how it looks visually, so that's how I feel about it haha!
@@Marcmb main reason I got the akimbo Micro Uzis is for pushing bodies away, might switch to MAC-10 if I want to, but I usually don’t see the need to push bodies away since I have a body bag focused build
@@RubyTerrarian That's fair haha! Using weapons because they look cool is always my number 1 factor when deciding. And what you say is indeed true yup: if you're focusing on body bags, the benefits from pushing corpses becomes a lot lower (just added safety to answer pagers in some situations).
Hey desertdingdong! Your guess is exactly correct yup: the Copycat's final card can mimic the main point of one of the other 22 decks (whichever one you choose). The Copycat video I released recently explains that in detail!
it retains the good qualities of shotguns for stealth (one hitting doors and launching bodies) and in maps with enemies that have 480 health you can just shoot them once without having to worry about them shooting back or aim for their head
Hey TRTSC! I recently uploaded a video explaining it in detail, however the short answer is what Idio said! It has all the benefits of regular Buckshot, with some added bonuses against tanky enemies, bypasses damage fall-off, and is great for ECM rushing as well.
Hey Katkus! The "TOP 5 Stealth Weapons" video explains it in detail: there are many different utility choices, so it really depends on the heist! A sniper is one of the cool options though, that's true :)
@@Marcmb yeah i guess a sniper would be more useless than useful on some heists. I’ll check the Top 5 video out, thanks! Ps. Have you ever used the north star sniper on stealth? I’m pretty sure it can go down to 3 con with a shotgun primary!
Just curious, when using the concealer AI boost, does the effect of this boost apply in the menu or only in game? If im using this boost do I only need to aim for 6 concealment instead of 3? Just curious since I like making as many guns stealth friendly as possible for the fun of it.
Hey Quinn! The boost will indeed not show in the menu, so you can aim for 7 concealment (Detection Rating 5 does not exist, so +3 concealment will take you to 3 DR). However, in the past there have been some bugs causing _Concealer_ to not work, so you can also play it safe and go for 3 (which will be more useful in full crew runs, too).
Hey johnny! Excellent question. The devs thought of this situation, so any profile swap will remove all assets that rely on Sixth Sense aced (even if both profiles have the skill; just to be extra safe and exploit-proof).
Haha! Glad I was able to teach you about better builds :D These points that you save are excellent to get other useful skills, especially while you level up from 0 to 100 (if you go infamous).
"you will often hear fools saying "just max out the entire shinobi tree""

It's interesting, the most common question I get when I play with new players is," How do you loop the camera". I respond with "Skill Issue" everytime....
Hahaha a literal issue of skills, good one! 10/10 :D
as far as pistols go, the 5-7 is probably my favorite, that bullet penetration can save your ass or make some ecm rushes that much faster and safer (like Diamond store) while keeping pistol skills bonuses.

Me personally, I use the gsps shotgun because you can shorten the barrel and stock. Plus I feel like it can launch faster
Hey KindaBored! Excellent choice as well. The launch speed is the same for all shotguns, but it does change based on how close you get to the target, and the exact angle.
I started a stealth build with the Burglar deck. It’s probably not the best, but I do like the idea of being faster with lockpicks and pagers.
That's a valid choice for your first stealth build, that's good! It's not as powerful in utility compared to the Pocket ECM, or the speed of the Yakuza, but it's a solid choice for starting out :)
I usually run akimbo heathers and a gecko, although I might add the stealth CAR4. I don't like risking anything on shotgun spread hitting glass
Care can get upto 34 concealment and paired with a max concealment pistol you can get 9% critical chance with low blow aced while in ictv.
@@Marcmb I also use the heathers for mass civ "control" on bank heists, as long as neither of the tellers are secretly The One
My build can also equip a spoon while only getting 4 detection
this is definetely helpful for new people! im tired of seeing burglar in pubs, or people with unupgraded ecms!!
I use burglar
whats wrong with burglar
@@Przemekrudzielec It's probably not super duper max bonus for everything useful 100% perfect
@@Przemekrudzielec its really bad compared to copycat (or hacker) and yakuza. it doesnt offer the same possibilities.
Thank you very much, iscrollinthecomments! I'm hoping it will spread some awareness about good builds, and good stealth skills :D
Burglar is a bit sad nowadays yeah... because it's outclassed by Yakuza in speed, outclassed by Hacker in utility, the Copycat variant ruins the deck completely, and the bagging speed can be achieved as well by using Equilibrium-pistols instead. Overall a sad state for the Burglar deck, which used to be the best for stealth!
Note that it's still a good choice for beginners of course (providing passive bonuses without needing any inputs), but after some point it's good to move on!
Cool vid! I pretty much understand build priorities and order since my notoriety times but still good woek!
@@immortal6451 oh yes, but I was talking about a more Loud oriented build
for lower difficulties just grab crits and a medium damage rifle (60-80 dmg) and you can 1 shot any enemy, dozers will fall in 5 shots

@@Marcmb i found a better one to do in that day, is the diamond store, you can complete very fast and you can take 19 bags per heist
The equilibrium tip is... damn, I wish I knew about it years ago lol
An excellent reason to use pistols :D Perfect for playing fast, or straight up speedrunning!
I like sniper stealth build with judge shotgun
That's a good choice wujek! I recently released a video about sniper rifles in stealth (the TOP5 best stealth weapons), so I can vouch for this one :D
@@fiyahquacker2835 I use grom
Grom def helps a lot I have been loving it being able to take out camera security then running to the door without getting spotted

best vid with details ive ever had seen for steal(th)!i would place the "crew management" at the start of the vid, because this is my most seen "i dont know about it" from beginners.
I have few questions:
It has the ability to kill Murkies (guards on Shadow Raid, Murky Station, etc.) in fewer shots, which can preserve your run.
just did golden grin casino on stealth and stole all loot, thank you so much for this build

Regarding the snipers in stealth, I actually showed some applications of that in a recent video (TOP 5 Unusual Stealth Weapons), where I recommended the Grom Sniper Rifle, or the 5/7 Pistol, for some wall-penetration applications. It's definitely very cool whenever you get an opportunity to use them :D
"More trip mines."
'Nuff said
:D Hi Dark! Self-explanatory, indeed :p

You should make a best dodge build

I'm surprised that there's no aced Uppers for funni drop kills
Hey Dromaeosaurs! That is indeed an excellent skill :D I made a standalone video about that skill, but I didn't want to repeat it in this stealth build video, because it's a very specific niche!
I love your guides, but i feel like you should include non-mod packs or dlc options too, not everyone can buy them :/
Hey Electro!
You have to know all the skills well enough to fit them in the type of heist you're gonna play and make multiple builds accordingly
copycat ez
That is correct yup! That's why the "base" of this build only requires Level 53, and the rest are recommended skills (all excellent) that the player has to pick based on the heist. That's also why I tried to explain what each of the skills does, rather than just offering a 120-point build, and no further information!
Hope you enjoyed the video :D
Good video but can you make one with the guns without any dlcs
Does Equilibrium (Basic) affect loot bags?
Wild bro has judge eww as his name for the judge lmao
Haha yup! I personally don't really like the way the weapon looks (it's tiny compared to the heister's hands), although its stats are incredibly good, so I have to own one in my inventory...
Every one has their own good type of build.
Definitely yeah! In fact the base that I mentioned that "anyone" should get is only for Level 53, and after that I didn't specify any order for the further utility, since it depends on the heist and your playstyle! :D
@Marcmb thanks for replying, means a lot.
*More trip mines*
more trip mines
Haha yup! Completely self-explanatory :p
Sustenance is temporary
Payday 3 is forever
boo fucking hoo
its $40 dollars and its coming out in a few months. just save up for it you lazy cunt
But yeah, glad it isnt full out 60$, because it would also cost 60$ in my local currency (from most games that have the same price)
Fun fact, 1,500 PHP / 30$ can actually feed a family of 10 here.
Hey ! What mod you use for your gray backgroup menu ?
Thanks :)
Hey Answer! I only install it for some clips, but I believe it's a mod called "Black Menu Backgrounds". Not sure if it requires BeardLib though...
Question: does pushing away dead bodies by shooting work for clients when playing online?
Hey VADemon! It's host only unfortunately, but it's neat because clients can shotgun-launch as usual, and then if you're quick as the host, you can extend their push slightly by using these high-RoF weapons.
Why is tombstone the best ammo for shotgun tho, you more often than not wont need the extra damage, at least in my opinion
@@Marcmb oh ok ,does this work the same for fire ammo, am on console, and poison ammo isnt in the game
yo could you please just tell me a single best build(weapons and skills) for stealth as the final skills got pretty confusing where I need to choose which one to play with?(or maybe just tell me what you run the most please)
Hey Kendrick! Follow this video, and remove the drill skills, and you will have points for everything. Next weekend I will also upload a video that shares my skill build and weapons, with just one single choice, the exact same one that I use!
@@Marcmb Thanks a lot :D
@@Marcmb Oh I forgot to ask, is your "best stealth saw build" still up to date? because to me it didn't seem too "stealthy"
@@Marcmb umm
I was wondering, in your videos and guides you always seem to be really quick in lockpicking, however I am much slower for whatever reason. I have nimble aced, fully upgraded hacker perk deck and a quick bot boost but I still am much slower than you. Do you know why this could be? Thanks!
Hey Loaf! If you have Nimble aced, and the Quick boost, you should be just as fast as me. Keep in mind that the bot boost only applies when playing with bots! Is that it?
Huh, that might be it. Thanks for responding!
I would need help not so much to create profiles regarding playing on what difficulty and stealth or not but regarding completing the heists on maximum difficulty
Hey mattiag! For most heists, I have an in-depth stealth guide with all the tips and knowledge you might need. Let me know if you have any questions about those!
so for hacker burgler yakuza and copycat this is the build that we should do?
That is correct yup! Same skill build, with Perk Deck being a personal choice.
@@Marcmb thx
What shotgun do you use for stealth?
Hey exiled! it's the one that I show towards the end, timestamp 9:18.
@@Marcmbalr thanks
hello, i am interested in working on my own stealth build however i am on console, Xbox one to be exact, however i want to try and learn from this video is there anything i need to be aware of aside of the skills, what perk deck and what primary and secondary i should invest time in.
thank you
Hii!! May i ask why do you prefer team boosts over concealment boosts? I usually prefer concealment boosts because of the saw, i feel that i get way too exposed with more than 10 detection risk, is it not really that necessary?
Does equilibrium apply to all weapon types or just pistols like it says
Hey Daye! Only pistols indeed, so regular pistols and Akimbo pistols. The Gecko counts as both a pistol and a shotgun though, so that's nice!
@@Marcmb I will keep that in mind, thanks for clearing that up for me, fantastic vid btw helped me clean up my kinda messy build lol
Fun fact: over 90% of PayDay 2s actual value is DLC
hi marc, thoughts on pd3? :D
Also Marc, are you crapping on Judge users with how you named your Judge
So in conclusion: Akimbo Micro Uzis are just there because akimbo SMGs are cool
@@RubyTerrarian That's fair haha! Using weapons because they look cool is always my number 1 factor when deciding.
And what you say is indeed true yup: if you're focusing on body bags, the benefits from pushing corpses becomes a lot lower (just added safety to answer pagers in some situations).
I guess im just missing it but how do you have two perk decks equipped? Does the Copycat deck allow you to equip Hacker as well?
Hey desertdingdong! Your guess is exactly correct yup: the Copycat's final card can mimic the main point of one of the other 22 decks (whichever one you choose). The Copycat video I released recently explains that in detail!
Why is Tombstone Slug the best ammo type? What's so good about it?
it retains the good qualities of shotguns for stealth (one hitting doors and launching bodies) and in maps with enemies that have 480 health you can just shoot them once without having to worry about them shooting back or aim for their head
Hey TRTSC! I recently uploaded a video explaining it in detail, however the short answer is what Idio said! It has all the benefits of regular Buckshot, with some added bonuses against tanky enemies, bypasses damage fall-off, and is great for ECM rushing as well.
Best primary would be A sniper tho right?
Question regarding insider assets - if I buy them, then swap to a profile WITHOUT Six Sense Ace, what happens?
Hey johnny! Excellent question. The devs thought of this situation, so any profile swap will remove all assets that rely on Sixth Sense aced (even if both profiles have the skill; just to be extra safe and exploit-proof).
@Marcmb just tried the build. Why the hell would you make the game easier? How are you this smart and good when making builds and in gameplay?
Thank you very much! Glad to hear the build helped, and thank you for the kind words :)
im the fools who max the entire shinobi tree, my stelth build from 2020 was all a lie
Haha! Glad I was able to teach you about better builds :D These points that you save are excellent to get other useful skills, especially while you level up from 0 to 100 (if you go infamous).
yeah dude after the video i learned a lot and now stelth is 100x better all thanks to you!!! @@Marcmb
