I made one of the earliest analysis on Jade Cutter's potential for Keqing as well as shown that for 4* weapons, Lion's Roar is better than Black Sword and we had more or less the same findings except my video got a lot of hate because people are unwilling to accept that their Aquila and Black Sword is losing to Jade Cutter and Lion's Roar. Since you're from the KeqingMains discord, you're getting praised for the same findings. Yea, I'm a bit salty because of how biased the KeqingMains community is. It is what it is I guess. Still sticking to my lvl 90 Lion's Roar 🙂 When the news broke out for All 3 Weapon Banners, my eyes were only for the Lion's Roar; It's Keqing Signature Weapon in her video, who am I to part the two 😊
For Keqing, I some time use Atk% goblet, instead of Phy% and Elec% Somehow I find her atk loss about 1-2k (charge attack from 13k per hit to 11k per hit), but she can do Elec Phy and Ice, so she more flexible (LOL)
I hadn't ever rolled on weapon banner til yesterday, so I decided to throw a couple summons to see if I could get the spear for Xiao. After 5 rolls I got the Cutter. My c1 Keqing will be happy.
I told my self I'd do a single roll everyday for five days just to see what happened. And on the 5th day I got a 5 star. Never even gotten a 4 star on weapon banner, so my history for it is hilarious. 4 Three stars and then a 5 star.

I normally just save all my primos for characters I really want. I like the way different characters play as well as their bio's and animations. So I'm really happy I won't have to touch weapon banner for a while.

I didn't really know how pity worked back then but now I have Xiao and C1 Diluc and saving for Hu Tao. And if I can't save enough wishes for her I'll try get Zhongli if he comes back anytime soon lol. But anyway, I agree with you about the playstyles. @@phensanji2501 depend how much primo you save? Did you need the spear? And last did you want new 5 star char on short time? I personally skip Childe, Zhongli, Albedo and Ganyu, so I can summon Xiao and Weapon banner. Even I hit pity, I still save 60+ pull to prepare re-run Venti, so it is no brainer in my case.
Sticking with my Skyward Blade. It may not do as much upfront damage in one rotation, but I like having the increased atk and movement speed, and having my ult off cooldown, especially since it’s possible to have 100% uptime on the sword’s passive with Keqing
I definitely will get that Jade Cutter if I don't have Blacksword R4. But I think I will wait new Inazuma sword instead, Narukami(Thunder God), hope it will so much better for electro Keqing. Because from the name we already know that sword definitely for electro.
i failed to get the jade sword so i'm sticking to Lion's roar for now, it's actually really good ngl with high refinement mine is r3, trying to get r5 with the new banner, after that i'll save everything for that Inazuma lightning sword, at tht point i don't even care how good that sword is, it just looks perfect for Keqing

i have tried both physical and electro build, and i personally think electro build brings out the best of her. i know that some ppl prefer physical, but maybe electro keqing suits my playstyle ehhhh.
I just hit AR50 and maxed out Lion's Roar to 90, then opened an Aquila from the world level 7 aquaint fate rewards. Clueless if I should pump it up, or just stay with Lion's until I build up more characters (2nd dps, some supps)... I kinda feel trolled by the game.

Its a struggle. Since I did get the spear, ill now just have to wait for Zhongli rerun, which is probably gonna be a very long time then. Maybe beidou since I have a her at C3, c1 gives a free shield. But I don't really know man If I had gotten the jade cutter then, I would not have this many problems, weapon gacha in this game is absutely rigged

Some did find Blackcliff is categorized as one of the bests by using 4-thundersoothers. Correct me if I was wrong. The guy had spend days comparing each sword (4* and 5*) with a mix and match artifacts.
I didn't try to roll for Jade Cutter, since I had doubts the entire time if the additional ATK I'll get from 1.2% of 26K HP total (incl. passive) will be better than the eventual 40% normal and charged atk DMG from the Black Sword at R5. Sure it'll also apply to the E and Q, but I am having a hard time managing energy in abyss floor 11 so I am more dependent on normals... oh well
I need help on my keqing Currently i have 61%crit rate 155% crtdmg... i have R2 lion's roar.. if i change my circlet from crt rate to crt dmg my stats is 39&crit rate and 196% crit dmg.. so i was thingking getting a battle pass and get the black sword so ill just use the crt dmg as mainstat of circlet while blacksword will recover the crit rate i've lost... i wanna ask if how big is the difference if that happends?
your crit rate and dmg are already good the way they are (with Q you have 76:155 which is very close to the ideal 1:2 ratio). If you use bennett for a bunch of external ATK, crit weapons like the black sword do scale better, and your crit rate & dmg would be okay here too (66:196 with Q, a bit low on the crit rate), but I don't think the change to Black Sword is all that necessary for you

My keqing is C2 and i have an aquila. Is phisical better or eletro?i honestly cant see how phisicsl could be betther, since i would be loosing most of the skill dmg, the effect of c1 and loosing energy rechard but...your graphic tells otherwise
all you said is true. my charts do not address which of electro and physical is better than the other, merely that if you were to play physical, aquila would be the best weapon to have. But going electro may still be better, especially if you already have constellations
Should I try to wish for the Summit Shaper on the coming weapon bunner? I have a flute now but I could buy the next BP for the Black Sword and then invest primos for Zhongli
If you can make good use of the other featured 5 star weapon in case you get that one, sure go for it (memory of dust I think) . Otherwise I'd stick to the BP sword it's too good all around.
I have an R4 lions roar but I LOVE the life steal effect from black sword which I only have R1. I just got Keqing and these two swords at low level. Can anyone give me some advice? I’m pretty limited on materials so I want to build the right one.
Should I use a refinement 3 lions roar over a refinement two black sword? To be more precise, would the difference between the two be that great? I have 3 lions roars laying around at level 1 and I’ve yet to level them because my keqing desperately needs crit rate and my black sword is her main source. I’ve yet to get blessed with a crit rate piece for the TS set so I’m stuck with this. So before I keep farming for a TS piece, I was wondering if it would be worth my time getting the artifacts and weapons materials needed to upgrade the lions roar. Any one plz let me know any answers are much appreciated
Maybe you can find the black sword a new home? Like bennet if you have no sac or use it on xinqie if you have no sacreficial... Or save it for Ayaka wink.
For me, Blacksword is the best 4 star for her because most of the time I want to reach the 55+ CRate 150+ CDmg numbers on my main/support damage dealers.
I got c1 keqing... I am basically forced to play electro soo I need some advice. Should I play safe and get black cliff or should I try my luck for the lion’s roar.
lions has a higher dmg ceiling but depends on passive uptime, aquila is more consistent and heals a bit. for me personally it would be lion's but you choose

It does have very good base ATK, but the 2nd stat is without use so I'd say somewhere around Royal Longsword levels (I did not do any math to back this up though)
Still confuse. With refine 1 lv90 32% crit rate 207% cdmg without weapon status. . Lions roar or black sword ? Extra dmg and atk from lions roar Or Juicy 25% critrate and charge atk from black sword. Which one better dps?
definitely the Black Sword for more crit rate. Currently you're barely making use of your insane crit damage because you rarely crit. ATK is easy to get from external sources such as Bennett or Pyro Resonance anyway, so go for the crit rate!
I’m hoping to get kequing should I use iron sting on her and get it to r5 the weapons I have on your list are iron sting festering flute and rancour but I personally like the iron sting I’ve been using it a while for fun
shield buff was considered, yes. (80% shield uptime) even with the shield, jade cutter deals more damage and scales way better with external atk buffs such as bennett or 4pc noblesse
Rolling for a new weapon. Dropped the first Aquila favonia... Should I change my eltro Keqing build (R2 BlackSword) for a physical one? I don't know what to do with this sword.
I have already decide not to pull on this weap banner as i have already the summit shaper but still i got tempted to pull, but i lost the 50/50 and got aquila favonia instead. Biggest dps spike scales via goblet dmg%.
Circlet can be critr,critdmg or atk%.. but not specifying your goblet lead to 2k/s dps loss.

it depends on your definition of "one of the best". it's a good weapon for sure, but somewhat dependent on its passive

My keqing is C2 and i have an aquila. Is phisical better or eletro?i honestly cant see how phisicsl could be betther, since i would be loosing most of the skill dmg, the effect of c1 and loosing energy rechard but...your graphic tells otherwise
all you said is true.
my charts do not address which of electro and physical is better than the other, merely that if you were to play physical, aquila would be the best weapon to have.
But going electro may still be better, especially if you already have constellations

Should I try to wish for the Summit Shaper on the coming weapon bunner? I have a flute now but I could buy the next BP for the Black Sword and then invest primos for Zhongli
If you can make good use of the other featured 5 star weapon in case you get that one, sure go for it (memory of dust I think) . Otherwise I'd stick to the BP sword it's too good all around.
I have an R4 lions roar but I LOVE the life steal effect from black sword which I only have R1. I just got Keqing and these two swords at low level. Can anyone give me some advice? I’m pretty limited on materials so I want to build the right one.

Should I use a refinement 3 lions roar over a refinement two black sword? To be more precise, would the difference between the two be that great? I have 3 lions roars laying around at level 1 and I’ve yet to level them because my keqing desperately needs crit rate and my black sword is her main source. I’ve yet to get blessed with a crit rate piece for the TS set so I’m stuck with this. So before I keep farming for a TS piece, I was wondering if it would be worth my time getting the artifacts and weapons materials needed to upgrade the lions roar. lions has a higher dmg ceiling but depends on passive uptime, aquila is more consistent and heals a bit.

It does have very good base ATK, but the 2nd stat is without use so I'd say somewhere around Royal Longsword levels (I did not do any math to back this up though)

definitely the Black Sword for more crit rate. Currently you're barely making use of your insane crit damage because you rarely crit. ATK is easy to get from external sources such as Bennett or Pyro Resonance anyway, so go for the crit rate!

lions roar r3 for the highest damage ceiling (dependent on passive uptime), aquila for better consistency and additional healing

While considering summit shaper, did you calculate the buff of the shield? Or without it? If there is a shield, would it overtake jade cutter?
shield buff was considered, yes. (80% shield uptime)
even with the shield, jade cutter deals more damage and scales way better with external atk buffs such as bennett or 4pc noblesse

probably best to put skyward on Bennett, it's his best in slot. Black Sword will still deal more dmg on keq

Lion's roar deals more damage and is even more consistent than Blackcliff imo, especially in the current abyss (high HP monsters)
