The issue might be that either you met the wrong woman/family, or you didn't spend enough time with them. I have found that Filipinos are not only friendly and warm, but also shy. You need to spend time with them and then slowly both sides get to know each other and feel more comfortable.

I'm 75. I've been divorced for 20 years. My ex walked out and left me to raise the kids. They're grown now and living their own lives. I sold my business and retired to France 7 years ago. I participate in many social activities here like hiking, wine tastings, food fairs, museum tours, expat dinner parties at different restaurants, and I meet friends for drinks at sports bars to watch soccer or rugby. I play golf, go sailing, and travel around Europe. I'm very content living alone; it's quiet, peaceful, and I can do whatever I want, when I want to do it. Life without a woman is heaven; no honey-do lists, no drama, no crazy mood swings, and no spending sprees on worthless crap like 200 pair of shoes.

The NO-FAULT divorce law in the U.S is the problem. If there is PROVEN domestic violence, alcohol and/or drug addiction, infidelity, unwillingness to work, etc. I can see a cause for a divorce. All it takes is for a woman to say that she in no longer happy and no matter how good a man is, she can file for divorce. The man will lose everything if he was the breadwinner (working two jobs and busting hiss ass off for his family), and she will walk off with hundreds of thousands of dollars and live the high life, meanwhile the man will have to start from scratch at 50 years old. The courts don't care if the man ends up homeless or dead. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Yup. This is why men won't get married. Too much to lose. I can see the value of no fault divorce but the benefits to the woman should be restricted so there is less incentive for her to do this.
Hi Mark. I totally agree with you about tattoos it's a automatic turn off when I see a tattoo on a woman. Not cool in my mind tattoos on women it's a turn off.

Giving her my initial savings of $12,000 to invest in a brokerage account was a turning point in my life. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience and the best decision I ever made!
Investing can be a powerful tool for building wealth and securing financial stability especially in this hard time. but it’s important to understand that it’s not without its challenges. The investment landscape is inherently volatile, with periods of both gains and losses. This variability is a natural part of investing and requires a clear strategy and patience to navigate effectively.
A lot of people keep talking about investments and how investment trade change their lives. I really need to engage myself in someway of earning more income and stop depending on the government.
The irony.. after spending 27 years of my life wanting to be happy trying to make my wife happy, I found happiness alone . 10 years divorced , life is good 👍
I agree. Married 1x here for 30 years. Never again. Once was enough. It wrecked my life. I’d have been WAY better off as a lifelong bachelor spinning plates and pursuing personal excellence.
I was married for 31 years and I've been single for the last 10 years. I am more happy and content than I have been in years. There's absolutely nothing that you can get from marriage that you can't have if you stay single. It just makes no sense, particularly given that family courts are very hostile to men.
I’m 67 single and all my jokes are funny ,every thing I say and do is right ,how I dress is right ,everything I eat is right ,and I do things when I want .
You are happy being single right now but I'm sure you have alimony to your ex-partner, giving child support and debt payment. That's what all farangs do in going to Thailand.
a wise old man once said (about relationships)- " the screwing I was getting was not worth the screwing I was getting".... Of course, this applies to men of all ages
Women are the most ones in the highest credit card debt. They cannot understand the consequences of their actions. Men. Never date any woman that has debt. It's a red flag that she is a train wreck.
Some men confuse their wife with their mother. A wife will never love you the way your mother does. There is no such thing as true love. A marriage is about 2 people that use each other to get what they want. Period
Women are incapable of loving a man. They see it as a business partnership where they get all the profits. Mothers love their children because the children are their own flesh and blood and its like them loving themselves.
What you are saying is demonstrably NOT true. There are millions of examples of true love all around us, how can you not see them? There are many couples out there where one partner sacrifices for the other for no other reason than love ... There nothing financial in it for them. It's a shame you can't see that, but hopefully someday you will get to experience it.
Marriage s a deal he wants an attractive wife and lots of sex and she wants family the white picket fence financial security and very occasionally sex ? If both parties are happy it's a good deal.
Mgtow is the way to go! It’s not a dislike of women , it’s about taking care of yourself financially, physically and mentally. It’s not worth it, get yourself a dog and find true loyalty and love.
Here’s a quote from Enzo Ferrari “I am convinced that when a man tells a woman he loves her, he means he desires her, and the only true love is that of a father for his son “ something to think about.

The choice for "most" men (Myself included), is either loneliness of misery. At 61, and after a recent Annulment, I think I'm ready to give Loneliness a ride. lol
Because some men are as thick as a 6 inch plank. You would have to be to get married today. Thick or deluded and yes, some men are happy but most are not.
I am 64, married twice, divorced twice, made the decision to not only won’t get married again, but I won’t date again, I enjoy my peace and freedom, and if I miss women’s company, I only need to view some ticktocks of women being women, and I loose any desire to engage one. This morning, I had a chat with AI worrying about being alone later in life and exploring Long term care cost, the AI actually recommended that by the time I need LTC, robots will be widely available and reasonably priced for me to have 24/7 care that most likely to be cheaper and better than in home care service. That was reassuring and enforced my plan to stay single for ever.
If guys had a bad marriage(s), ungrateful kids, worked like a dog most of his life, being single means independence and freedom. All the best to you, Jen, and Rogan.
My mom said the same thing. Too vulnerable to divorce, five kids, alcoholic and ungrateful, and early on was abusive husband (loved my dad but a horrible husband). She widowed at 58 and began living her life. She could have remarried three times but no way. She lived modestly and loved her independence. RIP Mom.

I don't know if 46 years old is old, but I've been single for six years, and I prefer it at this point in my life. Been divorced, had multiple bad relationships. It's far easier with some pets, some friends, and doing things I like to do when I want, without restrictions. Don't really want to lose half of my stuff ever again and starting over again. Already did that twice. No need to try it again.
Age 66, marriage was TOO MUCH for me to cope with, I simply can't handle the 24/7 stress of cohabitation, and I admit that I don't need the stress of tiptoeing around the drama inherent in trying to appease any woman.
Never married, never will. Stopped dating 15 years ago. I'm alone, not lonely. Caring for pets is grotesque, to me. I don't hate people. It's just that life is so much better and peaceful without them.
Had 51 great years with a Korean woman who passed this past April. Although I miss her dearly, I have just started to do some travelling to visit good friends I don't see often. The freedom to do what you want when you want is heaven. I will never have another serious relationship, especially with an American girl.
Women who don't need a man ? I can just see gangs of women building and mending roads, fixing the electrical grid, creating airports, cleaning out sewers and collecting garbage. Plus erecting houses and apartments ? The whole infrastructure of the entitled privileged woman has been built and maintained by MEN. Also any woman using the following is using something created or invented by a man - electricity, fridge freezer, toilet, bike, car, bus, tram, train, plane, camera, internet, pc, laptop, cell phone, radio, tv, lift/elevator, zip, photography, DNA and many medical advances to name but a few. So the modern entitled and misandrist woman maybe should realise she owes much to men and be a little more respectful of their contribution to society and her own privileged and pampered life ? If she refused to use anything invented by men she'd be squatting in a darkened cave without even a candle. In fact I cannot think of a SINGLE invention by a woman that has benefitted mankind in general.
One of my ex's like that but 3 years later she still texts me looking for advice when something breaks or needs fixing. Sometimes I answer, sometimes I just say good luck with that
Getting older and looking for a woman to fall in love with is a joke. At best, you will find a woman who is not miserable. Who wants an old woman to look at and pay bills for. Marriage for a senior is an act of desperation.
That's great but in your plans remember our going to get.older and harder to get around, do for your self, so plan for that side also, and i wouldnt plan on a woman.to help you, that would be a great disapointment ,think realistic. good luck

I'm in my late 50s. It's taken me a long time to work out my life but here's a condensed summary of what qualities certain things have brought me: Women: Stress, anxiety & depression smattered with a few short-lived periods of excitement & warmth. Dog: Love, loyalty, peace, happiness & fun. A few beers with my pals: Fun and relaxation. Hobbies: Relaxation, enthusiasm, contentment, personal development. I realised I had to discard one of these things. Can you guess which one I chose? Good luck everyone.

Im 55, divorced for 8 years now. I lost everything in my divorce, including my realtionship with my sons, for the most part. I have rebuilt my life pretty well, so far. He lived with her for 8 years. It finally ended and he gave her 13k upon her packing up her shit and moving out of his beautiful house on 15 acres. I told him had I known he was going to give her 13k I would have drove down there and chained him to a tree until he regained his sense. Told me he was so happy to get her out of his house he didn't care a bit about the money. To this day he is still telling me horror stories about those 8 years and always says he wish he could have those 8 years of his life back. She and her family basically took over his house and were there all the time. She did not want to do anything because she always had all these family obligations. Once he was hospitalized and upon returning home, he had to go live in his camper in order to get some rest and peace and quiet.
I am not single, but I will never get married. Getting married is paying new price for a used car, giving away a huge claim on your assets. Every woman I have ever met has a larger list of past notches (often giving away very easily compared to how hard I had to chase it) than I considered worthwhile.
The problem is, older women are bagging out, have lost their appeal, and mainly want older men for financial security. Young women have appeal but want men mainly for their dough.
Undemanding peace and quiet, following my goals without detours, drama and exceptions. Women take from time and finances and contribute nothing. Until that formula changes, they're going to be seeing less and less men stepping up to save their burdensome bottoms.

I had ex single mother with kids 5 whole were scam artists who men scam out of home and weath scam insurance companies
Yup. This is why men won't get married. Too much to lose.
I can see the value of no fault divorce but the benefits to the woman should be restricted so there is less incentive for her to do this.

Investing can be a powerful tool for building wealth and securing financial stability especially in this hard time. but it’s important to understand that it’s not without its challenges. The investment landscape is inherently volatile, with periods of both gains and losses. Women are the most ones in the highest credit card debt. They cannot understand the consequences of their actions. Men. Never date any woman that has debt. It's a red flag that she is a train wreck.
Been divorced 20 years and quite happy.
Very true!

Funny so many woman say they don’t need men.Never check oil in car, barely able to change a light bulb, makes you laugh.
Women who don't need a man ?
I can just see gangs of women building and mending roads, fixing the electrical grid, creating airports, cleaning out sewers and collecting garbage. Plus erecting houses and
apartments ?

Marriage is just stressful with these modern day women. Years ago everyone wanted to get married . Now it’s only the women. Peace .
Men take care of them, and they take care of themselves.
That’s because they want 2 things: (1) A slave. (2) All of the slave’s income and possessions.
Because you can pour your heart and soul into a woman for years. But she will not be loyal. You want true love and loyalty and someone who will be with you until the day you die, get a dog.
Australian magpies make incredibly loyal pets. I have one that watches me work while the shed door 🚪 is open. It does cute tricks like hop on my knee when I’m sitting down. Best of all it flies off home to its own tree 🌳 latter on. No licence fees, too.
Women are incapable of being loyal.
I'm in my late 50s. It's taken me a long time to work out my life but here's a condensed summary of what qualities certain things have brought me:
Women: Stress, anxiety & depression smattered with a few short-lived periods of excitement & warmth.
Sadly pets are better for men and women stress free living. Pets are a gift from God .

Single, no. Court hearings no attorney fees
No drama. Peaceful
Everyone thinks they have found the right one. Sorry male judgement regarding women is not good. Don’t get married unless you can afford the divorce.
Young women have appeal but want men mainly for their dough.
after a point in time, you lose in interest in women in our crazy American culture
Even prenups don't fully protect men.. All down to the judge
Yes but a woman's reaction to being asked to sign a prenup may be all the info you need to decide if marriage is really a good idea.
just Never Marry.
@@stevebc957 True or just don't get married or cohabitate lol
@@bengraham5699 Or cohabitate lol..
Undemanding peace and quiet, following my goals without detours, drama and exceptions. Women take from time and finances and contribute nothing. Until that formula changes, they're going to be seeing less and less men stepping up to save their burdensome bottoms.
I’ve never been married and I’m 77. I have a steady girlfriend for 20 years now. We do not live together but we live minutes away. Getting married was too much of a financial risk.
As a younger guy I’m jealous of all you old men you guys had the largest percentage of good women. Ever since social media came for us younger dudes it’s been over since the 2010s. Theres no such thing as real “love” in this day and age it’s all financial and if the woman feels she can cash out on you she will divorce you in the USA. This is why men go overseas to Asia and South America and just deal with a variety of women and just find a woman to settle down with and not get the government marriage contract involved.
Social media ruined society, just wrecked it completely
My Idea of dating at an older age is having a cup of coffee and a conversation. Not sharing my money with a second partner nor do I want his money.
