I still totally see some of my own ADHDer energy reflected back from Genevieve though, so while I wasn’t trying to do armchair diagnosis I would be totally unsurprised if she turns out to be One Of Us 😄
Ignoring the fact that Aysha is on the show. Survivor is a phenomenal social strategy game that feels like the older brother to Big Brother. If you are a fan of one, more than likely you are going to be a fan of the other. Do go check out what else the show has to offer.

Players fighting against the elements does not interest me in the slightest. If I do actually watch the whole season, I’ll most likely never watch another season 🤷🏾♂️
@@saitaviusfox7875 the fighting against the elements thing isnt really a part of it anymore, theyre on an island but the seasons are so short and fiji is so hospitable that its really not that hard

I admire Rob trying to be professional and objective but you can tell how proud he is ❤️ Genevieve seems fun! Perhaps a little unprepared, but I like that she is thinking about things.
Love to see Aysha, and love her ideas to bring back the mat phrases twist, instead of a specific phrase to say, a "task" that requires a player to say something/engage during the mat chats for an advantage (or reward) is a great idea.
I was already interested in Genevieve before listening to this since she's a fellow Manitoban but her interview made me all the more excited. Looking forward to cheering her on this season

@@CheeseGhosts I was just mentioning specifically the rounds RHAP have done - she was a contestant on a Brante Steele - Podcasters vs Survivors before and now has done Survivor afterward. Every Survivor on a RHAP Brante steel played Survivor first.
So I’ve somehow got to the age of almost 42 without having watched *any* of Survivor (which I think I can only put down to being a conscious choice… I do live in the UK so it’s not as much of a thing here, but still!). For a very long time I haven’t watched any reality TV at all, and grew to actively dislike it as a genre (after avidly watching the first 7? seasons of Big Brother UK, way back in 2000 through to 2006). After a couple of years of consuming ALL the news and politics podcasts and RUclips channels (both UK and US politics), I ended up here by way of Jon Lovett… but what I didn’t expect was that I’d get so hooked on Survivor so fast! After watching the first episode and being sad it wasn’t longer I dived into all the discussion shows and podcasts around S47 as a way to cope with having to wait a whole week for the next one, but I’m only now getting in to watching the pre-game interviews (I’m doing all of this entirely upside down 🙃)… and I’ve discovered I’m falling in love with basically everyone from their interviews! So far I’ve only seen Jon’s, then Tiyana and TK, and now Aysha (I’ve paused this half way through to comment!), and if the streak continues I’m going to want all of them to end up winning and to also be my best friend 😂 (There’s also something delicious about hearing your commentary ahead of it all, when in my timeline I know who the first two people voted out are 😆 But I’m here for all of it!)

Rob. Let the audience get Aysha as our draft pick. That way everyone else on the panel is on an even playing field, plus the audience gets to participate in a major way as well. Everyone knows Aysha is the first draft pick. So why not give her to the fans.

I haven’t kept up with the last few seasons of survivor, but I’m all in this season for Aysha! The excitement is palpable!
I watched 3 episodes of survivor in total, I’m usually here for big brother but since Aysha is there I just have to watch to watch 😀 can’t wait

Genevieve has done some really smart prep; cutting out caffeine and sweets is what they recommend for preparing for the bar exam too.
