I did the same thing with F34 truss. I even made a clamp on table for my controller and laptop out of sanded oak plywood that I painted with black non-skid truck bed liner paint. Two counter-sunk bolts into regular truss clamps allow it to be clamped into the front horizontal truss easily and have a natural slope toward you.
6 months ago i bought this amazing stand from ADJ: DJ Stand 4 and it's working very good! In combination with some Manfrotto Super Clamps i build up my light in 5 minutes, the whole stand is build up in 10 minutes! Another advantage of that gear: it looks very professional in my opinion...
it looks great it's just the price that concerns me it would cost more than our lighting rig with movers when we can afford them. but it looks amazing well done!
Hey Brian, if you ever need help setting up or for a show let me know. I run a little DJ business down in Kenosha and would love to come help you out/learn from you. check it out if you have time and let me know if you would need help. kenosha sounds
I don't like nearly any of the dj tables because most of them only look sturdy enough for a pair of cd turntables and a dj mixer but people like have a coffin flightcase with two Technics SL1210mkII and a club dj mixer and if I put my solid plywood touring flightcase on these dj tables they'd probably collapse. But this truss I do like and truss will always be the best idea for a dj table the only problem is it's very expensive truss is.

Great!!! I was hoping so. Can't wait to see it in action. Looks so kewl!!!
~DJ Vince~
oh yeah! You can make it as long as you wish
Looks like the end pieces consist of a 3 way corner, a T piece and two regular short sections as the legs.
it looks great it's just the price that concerns me it would cost more than our lighting rig with movers when we can afford them.
but it looks amazing
well done!

Amazing idea! Could you extend the center piece to hold more equipment?
Kewl beans! I just have one question. Are you planning on actually using that setup in an upcoming video gig log soon?
