As a teenager I worked up on the slide, bungee tower and waterslide doing maintenance. That part of it was owned by a company called Alpine Action. Those were some of the best years of my life! I will never forget that place. So many amazing memories were made there for me and even my young kids. It was a sad, sad day when they shut it all down and tore everything down.

I was so sorry to see it end. I loved to go to the Heritage Square Opera house dinner theatre but that closed a couple of years before. Except for the Alpine slide I don't even think the rides were there when we would take our children. I took my grandson when they had the rides and he loved it! Our family reunion was fun there as well. It's such a perfect place for an amusement park, such beauty and loved everything about it! So sorry we didn't have it longer!
