My favorite part of a Coney vid is where he asks a question he would say yes to, then when chat says no, he makes the question way more specific to get people to say yes so he's not the odd one out
After looking on Wikipedia, this rabbit hole goes even deeper. Regarding the $100 offer, "The resulting slide, called the 'Cannonball Loop', was so intimidating, that employees have reported they were offered $100 (equivalent to $252 in 2021) to test it. Fergus, who described himself as 'one of the idiots' who took the offer, said, "$100 did not buy enough booze to drown out that memory.'" Also, even though nobody died, "Some early riders came back with lacerations to their bodies; when the ride was closed to determine what had caused them, teeth that had fallen out were found lodged in the interior walls." And to go even further, " A former Navy physician found that riders were experiencing as much as nine g's of force as they went through the loop." To put that in perspective, fighter pilots need G-suits and training to be able to safely experience 8-9 Gs without passing out, and it's unsafe for anyopne to experience over ~5 Gs of force without a G suit and proper training. Fighter pilots experience extreme G forces for longer periods of time, but still, absolutely insane. My dad was a Naval aviator and he said after experiencing 8 Gs, he noticed little red dots all over his arms where capillaries had burst. It's honestly amazing nobody died on this deathtrap.
Well I guess there weren't deaths in the Cannonball Loop but " Before padding was added, riders emerged with bloody mouths. The next round of riders came out with lacerations that initially seemed unexplainable - until they realized that the teeth of previous riders had gotten stuck in the loop and were cutting them up."
There were a total of 4 fatalities in action park, but the cannon ball was open for such a short time, so it didn't have enough time to kill anyone. Correction: it was 6, 3 people died in the tidal wave pool.
Was so traumatized hearing about a kid drowning after hitting his head from the wave machine that I never went beyond halfway into it. Was the same park they filmed Grown Ups.
I went on a Theme Park Crazy binge during the height of the pandemic. Some of the best content on the platform, really made me think more about how engineering meets entertainment.
11:00 Park founder Gene Mulvihill actually paid his teen employees to ride cannonball loop. The first round came out with bloody mouths, the second came out with lacerations from the teeth wedged within the loop.
I think I remember watching a video where some dudes built a loop for a guy to run around. If I remember right in order for it to be physically possible for him to make it through the loop it needed to be quite small, barely a foot taller than the runner. So I sort of understand the logic behind that last slide, doesn't make it safe though.
Yep, there's similar stuff people have done for skateboarding and such, the small loop makes it possible because they're going fairly slow. Why you needed to go so fast on this waterslide doesn't make sense XD
The coffin slide made me lose it because I have been on a looping body slide. You didn;t need to get in anything, you just stoodd over a trapdoor and it dropped you into the loop, up in northern wisconsin area
Yeah, I've been on looping water slides in Australia too. The way they solved the problem is you just "loop" out to the side more than straight up so it's more of a big banked corner that you mostly stay on the bottom of the slide for.
Weird random fact I found out when I googled my last name Apparently action Park was made/owned by a very very distant relative I have a very rare last name and first name. So anytime I see it written somewhere it's like a jumpscare. Finding this out was one of the most surreal moments I've experienced
holy shit dude my local water park has #8, it's at Filderado which you can see in the video, it's scary and painful like you can imagine and water will always get up your nose
1:28 I’ve been on a slide like this before and it’s actually really fun. The one I went on was a lot bigger than that one. Your future generations wouldn’t get hurt on that unless you were actively trying to get them hurt
The documentary Class Action Park is a horrifying and fascinating look at the history of this park. It even details the incidents that happened at the Cannonball Loop, which didn't include death but did include getting cut up in the dark by other people's teeth that were embedded into the walls at the loop from people being bashed against them.
Coney thanks for making my day when you upload, I've been goin through a lot and I've rewatched all of your vids at least three times (especially your react wars stuff) keep making good content for people like me and people that love your streams. your editors are godlike too!
The Fly Over was realy not that bad as you would think. I was 10 years old when i went in it. Its only about 10 seconds if you dont swim with the current.
Didnt expect to see my hometown's waterpark in a Coney video but here we are... and I'm all for it XD It's the High Fly and it's located in southern Germany, if you're wondering
i went on that rapids ride at action park (the one where you have to wear a helmet). we got stuck and it was very cold outside, but overall i think i enjoyed that trip. or maybe i was just 11
HOLY SHIT I WENT ON THAT FIRST ONE IN FLORIDA’S ADVENTURE ISLAND Being the dumb child that I am back in the early 2010’s, I leaned too far forward on the skipping part and went flying
$6/hr in 1985 is a job to retire from. Plus a $100 bonus? They don't make jobs with pay like that anymore. Hell, they don't make jobs that disqualify you from foodstamps anymore.
It wouldn’t take THAT much to get me to go on cannonball loop. I know what I’m going up against. I’d go fast so I clear the loop and tuck my chin so I don’t get a concussion. I might even wear a helmet, but it’s fine because the cost is covered. It might even be fun
I have seen many criticisms of this game, and unironically out of all of them you have presented the most rational and logical breakdown down of some of the games issues
I haven’t laughed this hard in a while, but I’m losing it over the coffin slide.
Glad to hear that, hope you can laugh harder in the future.
Agent 47, you’re mission is to kill the head of the mafia while he is at a water park.
The unique madness of theme parks pairs quite well with Coney, perhaps the island itself has some sort of influence upon him
My favorite part of a Coney vid is where he asks a question he would say yes to, then when chat says no, he makes the question way more specific to get people to say yes so he's not the odd one out

4:33 The guy who said pov: you're a sperm had me dying for 10 minutes.

Literal horror movie shit
I hate that I have this knowledge now
What the fuck
Oh, that's DISGUSTING.
There were a total of 4 fatalities in action park, but the cannon ball was open for such a short time, so it didn't have enough time to kill anyone.

Theme park posting is lit
I went on a Theme Park Crazy binge during the height of the pandemic. Some of the best content on the platform, really made me think more about how engineering meets entertainment.
1:40 grew up with one of these at my local water park, can confirm they hurt a bit, but it’s definitely mainly on the tailbone
2:06 every time coney screams theres like a wave of AAAAAAAAAAA right after and its so funny
Coney on a Saturday is always a treat
11:00 Park founder Gene Mulvihill actually paid his teen employees to ride cannonball loop. The first round came out with bloody mouths, the second came out with lacerations from the teeth wedged within the loop.
The coffin dance song most definitely starts playing all throughout the park whenever someone gets on the sky caliber
THOSE SCARE CONEY
Coneys theme park obsession combines 2 different areas of RUclips and I’m thankful for it
the fly-over is literally natural selection

@@2LettersSho I assumed they tried it with a larger loop but the incline or length didn't give people enough speed.
Coney should see more theme park videos

New Coney Upload ?!?!
My local water park has #10! It’s actually really fun, and can confirm that neither of my troop barracks have ever suffered any damage
Oh hey I love Theme Park Crazy! One of my favorite channels
Weird random fact I found out when I googled my last name
Apparently action Park was made/owned by a very very distant relative

10k is nowhere near enough. The money has to include hospital bills and years of therapy for the PTSD.
2:04 thought that said Kid Cobra for a second. Now I want Nintendo World at Universal to have a Snake Park themed water slide
Coney at Number 4: This is a Hitman mission.
Number 2 was the REAL Hitman mission.
Number 1 is a real life Hitman mission.
I love the for coney content
5:40 just straight up an escape pod xD
I had watched this before but coney made the video 10 times funnier
"that happened to me in goosebumps once!"

1:28 I’ve been on a slide like this before and it’s actually really fun. The one I went on was a lot bigger than that one. Your future generations wouldn’t get hurt on that unless you were actively trying to get them hurt
The first one was the main attraction of the first amusement park on Coney Island

Didnt expect to see my hometown's waterpark in a Coney video but here we are... and I'm all for it XD
It's the High Fly and it's located in southern Germany, if you're wondering
Based Germany
Nintendope grinding Coney's comments fr.
Panda time!
How much would I charge to get on the loop? Twice the medical bill, twice the court fees, twice funeral cost. At the very least.
Favorite character is Wario hes one of my BEST CHARACTER im subbed to everyone even Coney
It’s been a while since the last themepark post. Great video!
Themepark Posting is mad fucking fun!
Coney have you heard that Vince Mcmahon has retired from WWE
that rapids ride at action park with the helmet rules ngl
I GOT A TERRIBLE BURN FROM THOSE INFLATED SLIDE THINGS ON THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL AND I TOO FEAR THEM DUE TO THIS
Even though Action Park did kill some people, the Cannonball Loop surprisingly didn't cause any of them.
i went on that rapids ride at action park (the one where you have to wear a helmet). we got stuck and it was very cold outside, but overall i think i enjoyed that trip. or maybe i was just 11
I'd hit that cannonball loop for $100 and I don't even need the money
I want to ride the biblically accurate water slide
A NON MULTIVERSES VIDEO???
HOLY SHIT I WENT ON THAT FIRST ONE IN FLORIDA’S ADVENTURE ISLAND
Being the dumb child that I am back in the early 2010’s, I leaned too far forward on the skipping part and went flying

$6/hr in 1985 is a job to retire from. Plus a $100 bonus? They don't make jobs with pay like that anymore. Hell, they don't make jobs that disqualify you from foodstamps anymore.
The coffin drop
To go on cannonball 1k plus hospital paid for

I said the same exact thing Coney did when I saw that one before the list started. Like what the fuck is that thing? 😂
I have seen many criticisms of this game, and unironically out of all of them you have presented the most rational and logical breakdown down of some of the games issues
I'm not sure what coney is talking about that loop at the end. It seems like it is average to me, or even a big loop
13:47 10 Morbillion dollars.
Switching from macdoesit to coney is weirdly not as jarring as I thought
