My mom bought me a huge bird of paradise in April. We put it right outside in the direct sun which burned some of the leaves and it rained a lot in that first month it was outside. But, now it has like 10 new leaves and is about to bloom! Bird of Paradise are amazing.
Peace Lily’s are the best!!! I sold some plants and used the money to buy a 20 year old peace lily with some awesome history for $50!! It weighs almost as much as I do and has became my favorite plant in my collection.
Harli, you are articulate, dramatic, imaginative, and natural, all qualities of born storytellers. Don't underestimate yourself. I'm so glad I found you. Recently, during a conversation with a friend, I mentioned some of my new plants... using their proper names. I stopped talking when I noticed my friend's dazed expression. I realized I had crossed over into the plantmosphere. I'm not going back. 🌴🌿🌱🌹

Ponytail palms were the first house plants that I was able to keep alive and make thrive. ❤️ Ive just repotted my first one yesterday and I have a variety with a small bulb. The greenery is already so long and thriving it reaches the table. ⭐
Thank you for keeping up with all your plant videos during this pandemic and quarantine all of your videos are very useful and helpful please stay safe and healthy you have a beautiful son he’s very handsome.
I love easy houseplants because they bring you so much joy without being stress and you can just leave them for a week to a month and they will still thrive :)
Oh my god she talked about the moss balls! I have 4 and they are so great. No one talks about them which is sad because they are so cute, very soft and super super easy to take care of! I highly recommend 💚
Lol the ending....so relatable. My toddler napped today but woke up WAYYYYYYYY early and was not as smiley as your guy! 😂😅♥️ recently found your channel and I’m loving your videos!
You are so sweet and really like the way so kind you talk about your plants. And then I see the Ramstein poster behind you and that always cracks me up! 🤣
Baby Kai is so photogenic! You looked great in this video and your were so funny. I don't personally have Senecio Macroglosssus but Nick Pileggi spotlighted them in one of his recent videos. I love Philodendron Erubencses, but my favorite right now is Philodendron Moonlight. Mine is a stunning plant and I find all philodendron easy care.
Kai is a cutie! Such a happy baby💙! I am soooo glad to see BOP in this vid as I have wanted one for the longest time! I cannot give it high light so I was relieved to hear it does well in a variety of light situations. I was considering wax ivy as well...so yes...this video was a great encouragement to me.
I held back from getting a BOP for the longest time because I felt I didn't have adequate lighting for it. Fast forward to now, several leaves burned after being in the sun for a few hours 🙃
Omg your son is adorable! I love your vids, so creative and thoughtful. So many plants out there that are easy to take of and are less common, but ALL plants are still Beautiful! My list: almost all philodendrons, syngoniums, Sansevieria are easy and have so many varieties! Thanks again💚🌱
I have a wax ivy! I love it so much. I had to hunt for info online to identify it and how to take care of it, and saved it. It was a journey. And now I am on a houseplant kick. Great channel!!
Sis is GLOWING. Could you please tell us how you take care of your alocasias and more fussy types of plants? I’d love to know what kind of soil you use for them too. I have a bad habit of buying really difficult plants, they’re just so pretty🥺
Hoya Publicalyx is my fav Hoya too! I also LOVE Marimo Balls! I bought one from a Petsmart and it’s so cool. I actually have a couple of other Aquatic plants that I keep in glass containers and just change out the water every couple of weeks and give them some aquatic plant food and they’re pretty much the ultimate set it and forget it plants. I think they’re so cool and interesting, and unlike terrestrial plants, they love you for overwatering them. Other than the Marimo ball, I have three different types of Anubias which are in the same family as Philodendron and Monstera. Like Marimo balls, they don’t need a lot of light to survive as long as they’re fully submerged in water. I highly recommend growing aquatic plants if you want to add something easy to your collection that can be a conversation starter among you and house guests.
Those moss balls are super cute, I need them in my life. I love my spider plant, it’s been very tolerant of my less than stellar watering habits and not ideal lighting conditions.
Thanks @HarliG ❤ you're the best. How many years have you owned your Marimo Moss Balls? Yes plant fam - try the Balls. I bought my first Marimo Moss Balls recently at PetSmart and can't get enough. They're care is so unique and easy. Great for older Children too. That's what makes them so fun !!!!
YAAAASSSSS WAX IVY! 🙌🏻 A definite favorite that NO ONE ever talks about! I’m a succulent fanatic recently adding house plants to my addiction (er, hobby) and he’s such a cool addition without the repeated failure of real Ivy. Ivy hates me too and it makes me feel better that I’m not the only one it bullies 😂
I just got a Stromanthe Triostar and it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! The leaves look like feathers! The Philodendron Brazil is definitely a love, as is my lemon lime philodendron!
I actually love bloomscape. I bought my first plants from them because of all the mentioned benefits and I wanted that 30 days guarantee Incase I killed them. And I now have 8(?) from them. Nothing but good experiences.
I keep my Brasil usually on a shelf with med to low lighting. I put it in a south facing window for the summer to see what would happen and she tripled in size!
I love your content and have learned alot from you! Thanks for talking about the bird of paradise bc I don't feel they get enough attention for how awesome they are! 🌿🌵🌱😁
Great vid and totally agree on lots of the easy plants to care for. Lol you got us cracking up over here when you pretended to gulp some marimo water and actually did 😂 You’re awesome.
Yes I love my wax ivy! I have never seen anyone really talk about this plant, but it's wonderful. Super easy to care for and it grows like CRAZY. Definitely one of my favorites.
i kinda like getting plants that were a little bit mistreated before i bought them because they seem to adjust to their new environment way faster and without losing leaves/ suffering a lot. meanwhile, the ones that were perfectly cared for before i bought them tend to suffer more while acclimating. idk if this is a real thing though. it might just be because only resilient plants can survive the store’s neglect like that.
Yesss I have the philodendron erubescens & philodendron Brazil and it's doing good in bright indirect sunlight, one of my fav plants it makes my home look like a jungle
I love fire coral aloe so much! I had a really beautiful one that I was able to take a baby from and make a second plant, but I lost them this summer, in a tragic car accident, while moving across country... along with 30+ of my other houseplants. Idk why but I really feel the most sad about my fire coral aloe.. it brought me so much joy!
It took me forever to find a wax ivy, and I love mine. She did get mealybugs (thanks to another plant), and it was insane getting rid of them with all the vines. But she's fully recovered and living her best life.
Also I hope to be “myself” eventually on my channel like you are. I just started so I am so nervous and serious but I’m sure I’ll get there. It’s so fun watching your videos
