Wow! What a small world! I certainly remember letting you borrow the Toblerone. Made for cool picture and video clip. Wish we all could go back to that day! Switzerland was amazing. Did you make it out before the flooding? We left early on the morning the flooding happened.
@@massm43 Yes, exactly! I also checked if we went into your video clip but didn't find us there 😅. We also left in the early morning the following day and escaped the flood. Thanks for asking! Hope to watch more and more video from you!

@@layalfortino We had an STP as well as Berner Oberland pass. Once in lifetime trip so we wanted the ease of both passes so we could just hop on and off almost all of our trains, gondolas, funiculars, boats, and buses. Additionally, we had 1st class STP which was made things easier on our long train journeys having a 3 year old and lots of luggage.
@@massm43 were you able to use the STP for the train from Zurich to Grindelwald? I’m being told that’s completely different (the intercity and Regio train) and the different passes and train systems are confusing.
@@layalfortino STP covers the whole country so yes, our long journey trains from zurich to grindelwald, grindelwald to zermatt, zermatt to lucerne, and lucerne to zurich were covered. The BO pass is specific to the BO region trains (interlaken, grindelwald, lauterbrunnen). The STP only gives a discount on tickets for those trains. But if you have the BO pass, then they are free and hop on hop off easy.
It seems cold there what time did you visit? I'm going to Switzerland in a couple of days. Very confused what clothes to pack. Can you please suggest how the weather will be now
@@jsharma496 We were there exactly a month ago. It was basically 70 degrees fahrenheit each day. However in higher elevations it gets colder. You'll want to bring hoody or light jacket everywhere you go just in case. Usually started our mornings early which required hoody but once afternoon hit it would get warm. Where are you visiting?
