Cata heroics were pretty difficult when they came out. Plus healers were always running oom. Very challenging but fun.
Yeah they actually were challenging for a while when getting geared
Kinda why you used to have a hybrid to help out on healing in some cases.
people were bad at the game back then, that druid is spamming heals when there is NOTHING to heal for 30+ seconds
@@Achtland44 we cant keep saying people were bad "back then" it was like 2011 lol, cata isnt vanilla where people played on legit shit internet and setups. Wrath just coddled everyone so it was a spike in difficulty on LAUNCH. Cata classic isnt launch, its a later patch so shits gonna be face roll. Especially with anyone using any form of DBM and shit.

Watching the druid spam heals when no one was taking damage and constantly wondering why he was oom was frustrating.
Which is pretty strange because druid hasn't worked with hard heals since healing touch in vanilla, and even then you did have HoTs but already in TBC it was 95% HoT gameplay.

Those are post nerf version of the dungeons...initially the heroic dungeons were actually a challenge, but people kept complaining about how hard they were so they nerfed them to oblivion. And before anyone starts telling me "lol it was easy bro you just don't remember"...no, it wasn't easy at all. Anyone who was a good player and who played in very early cata remembers : it was not insanely hard, but it was a challenge for 90% of the community, and a lot of groups just couldn't clear some heroic dungeons if they didn't know the mechanics or didn't have the proper gear. A squishy tank would mean you couldn't deal with them.
I quit in Cataclysm but seem to remember them introducing some in-game guide system for instances ? A journal or somesuch that had a bunch of text explaining the mechanics ? Is this still a thing ?

Cata heroics were cool since they had actual mechanics and required coordination. It was also the last period where CC actually made sense in dungeons. Of course that was before they nerfed it to the ground. Good times though!

@@brandonkruse6412 After the nerfs yeah, idk if you played it before the blanket of constant nerfs, it was one of the few that was actually rough, the trash hit so hard. This is the last patch so all the nerfs went through, all heroics are easily doable in rdf
Without digging into the video and drawing my old man memory, Cata Heroics were only hard for the first couple weeks untill enough people get 'some' gear and then they become stupid easy and fun. I know that I wasn't planning to play until recently when learning leveling has been sped up, which is what I wanted to hear.

@@light1998tomachupete then you definetly didn't know what you're or did something wrong, my friend who never played wow made a char y.day and was already lvl 18 after 5h, 10 in 2h is VERY slow, this means it took you 12 min per lvl below lvl 10, which is crazy

dont know if the bug still works, but as soon as you get on the dragon, if you spam backpeddle (S) the dragon will fly a lot slower and you can legit kill all the trash completely, then its just a boss bonanza

You should be in Berserk stance as arms, you switch to Battle only for rend, OP and MS, ideally macro all the spells with stances xd
And that is good way to waste rage. OP and MS are your big abilities in arms. Yes switch every 6 seconds for MS no matter how much rage you have. And with how much overpower procs yeah dump ton of rage just to switch for OP.

oh god, the grim batol run back when people forget to slow and nuke those 2 adds on the last boss. Jesus, the amount of times i would repeatedly say "pls slow and nuke the two adds when they spawn" and they get totally ignored and we wipe. Only to then spend the entire run back explaining why we need to nuke them, for everyone to just ignore them again and wipe again..
its definately post nerf. During cata they nerf the heroics within like the 1st 2 weeks. Cause nobody could clear it with LFG. They had to make it LFG friendly.

its being merged, i was on askandi as well. i think most horde went to its starts with a M

Cata heroics were fucked as a healer my shaman could barely keep up and the healing spells were well out of whack major heals were doing less than lesser

Cata heroics were fun because they made you have to actually think about certain trash pulls. It was a bit of a heal check at times, CC was necessary, and healers/tanks had to communicate CD’s
you need to cc and interupt. and L2P their class before going into heroic forsurte.

Its a closed beta, they will most likely put it as an open beta in a couple weeks
dont complain about them being hard, they will nerf them to the nerfed versions and even 1handed andies can beat them

I'm so fucking confused, the prepatch being live and everyone doing beta content constantly makes me confused as to whether cata has released yet or not, noone so far has actually put "beta" in any titles or descriptions..

The goblin warrior seems so stupid. She or it has a piece of wood with a vine, for a weapon. rofl. Goblins are disliked in Kalonline because its western and Runescape that barely uses any concepts of Goblins.
That area with purple dragons. Have a reused palace from the economy sector with the dwarfs. but my knowledge of World of Warcraft on areas is not that great by seeing images that I dislike.
If that is what it should be. Testers as usual players. Trying the new game that is unreleased as retail, for about a week or two. Is easier. But, of certainly has to be a new character for it. Capture anyone's pacing from start to end of the testing. As its from the server/channel's authority to have players test it and paid testers.

so RETAIL look a like/ dont see any difference between Dragonflight by the look. Like for classic enjoyer, this looks so disgusting.
