Oh man, I would tune in to 900 at night just to catch their old time radio shows, now that leaves only a few AM stations I can receive that airs old time radio shows.

CHML has been part of this American's life for decades. A clear channel blowtorch as I grew up, then as a companion on road trips, and in the internet age as my go-to favorite station at home.
It was always respectful and cerebral, and I will miss it, and the radio era that it exemplified, now rapidly disappearing.

to the westerners that bought 900 and sold cdns out to the foreigners
i think it was their anti higher gross wages' programming. i recall listening to the roy green show and he had a former plant owner (markham factory) and the owner said 'we can not compete with a higher min wage (more than $12/hr)'.
roy green agreed with him, but the factory should have been paying more than $12/hr to its factory workers already.
they put too much pro UCP out there even after the UCP/UCF's tax cuts did not secure the 50k promised jobs, and cost 5720 albertans their lives due to the firing of 1000s of drs and nurses to pay the $3bn in tax cuts to foreign companies.
myop the people out west have shown they r too stew-pid to know better than to fire their wild fire fighters. Now jasper is more like casper.
U have a nice day and thank u for your service to the shareholder class. U even volunteered to work so hard for no part of the record profits.
and i thank you for making that decision with out the need of a law to Draft you into service.

I am a fan of CHML 900 and absolutely devastated. I am from Doha, Qatar and thru RADIO GARDEN I can link with CHML too bad as I am one of an avid fan. I noticed that many institutions are closing regardless of its contribution to the history of a nation. Please reconsider or please guide us where to hear similar stations from locals in Canada. Thank you

Talk radio is a hard format to be in. I remember when NewsTalk 1010 in Toronto laid off most of its staff a few years back. Advertising revenue has been in decline for a long time in radio and print journalism.

yeah, but if the talk is not directed toward a pro higher gross wages' listening audience. the slaves do not know shares and the owners of Sears walked away, thanks to stephen harper and his out there westerner sellouts.

it is a device. to capture signals that can be found on certain waves, that the radio is meant and built to collect.
