- Well I didn’t want to make this video but you guys want it so don’t mad with me when your favourite godzilla is on this list besides it was actually hard to find godzilla I didn’t like really the top 5 are the onces I have genuine problems with the 10 to 6 are just godzilla that aren’t as good as the others so lets get started. Sorry, dude, but the 84Goji suit is my favorite of the Heisei series. As for the eyes, I'd say they're supposed to look dead, like Godzilla was literally resurrected from the dead and is basically a giant radioactive zombie. I honestly think it's very intimidating and scary.

It make senses in a way, a 10 k old godzilla that owns the earth. I would understand that he moves the ways he does as he's basically a part of the planet it self at that point

IMO, the reason Kiryugoji only got a handful of hits in was because almost every time he got a hit he put the other monster out of commission for a while or KOd them. He's not much of an h2h fighter but he makes up for that in durability. There's a reason it took 4 monsters to stop his rampage in SOS.

Sure he gets ragdolled but so does Kiryu and Mothra
Sure the latter 2 get ragdolled sometimes but it's godzilla who gets ragdolled by both of them most of the time. Especially kiryu in hand to hand combat. If anything kiryugoji handles mothra the best since all he needs is 1 good shot to kill her but for some reason is horrible at detecting 2 mothra larva and is horrible at physical combat

What has shocked me MOST about this list is Godzilla Earth being on here. I'll admit, I initially wasn't too impressed with its design, but it ended up growing on me, and I actually enjoy it now.
The more you think about it , the more sense it makes
Earh gives of ultraman powered kaiju vibes to me, it looks awesome, but it barely fucking moves

Maybe the rating is based on the movie it's in, rather than the design. The Godzilla animes really suck, but the design shouldn't be punished for that

9:40 i actually watched a video saying that Toho actually wasn't that big of a fan of the design :0 but that they had to go with it since the movie director was stubborn that the design wouldn't be changing
so it was more of a "either the movie gets made or it doesn't" kind of thing :') which sucks
but yeah the Zilla design and overall character was certainly not worthy of being labeled as a Godzilla imo

Kiryu goji wasn't too bad. While he doesn't have the combat experience of other godzillas he was still hard to put down and is practically unaffected by nearly all of kiryu's weapons. The only weapon kiryu had that could hypothetically put godzilla out of commission was the absolute zero cannon, and even that fails to kill him.

For me it's definitely Goji67. I never really understood why they designed Godzilla to look like his son in the showa era when they simply should have just switched it. I'm sure they could've still kept it kid friendly looking. Anyways great video man!

KOTMs Godzilla deserved a place on its list, at least Godzilla earth was original in its abilities and origins, but legendary Godzilla just looks terrible new spines or not, everything from its thunder thighs, tiny square head to its crocodile scales just look more like an alligator fucked Cotylorhynchus and it started stress eating. Not to mention the most unique things about him are just ripped off better godzillas like its burning form, it just isn’t Godzilla

I think why king goji is so dumb is because he was still quite young in this film, he wasn’t a grown mature adult he was like a teen (same goes for 1954 and 1964) so that might be why

Sorry, Alex, but KingGoji is probably one of my favorite Godzilla designs, I just really like the fact that toho gave him a more alligator like face and it is the basis for all the Godzilla suits to come after this one, I also like that this suit just feels the most "Godzilla" in this movie and really embodies the Showa era as a whole.

The Legendary Godzilla is honestly one of the weakest versions of him. He got his ass kicked by both of the MUTOs and was only able to beat King Ghidorah with the help of a nuke and Mothra.
Good to see I wasn't the only one who thinks this.
Yet people say he can beat Heisei Godzilla and Finalgoji without help.
@@jmarcopulos5265 Yeah, no. He might have better combat skills then Heisei Goji, but he is nowhere near as powerful, at least in base form. And the Final Goji, honestly, could kick his ass.
I find him very unsatisfying. At the end of King of the Monsters even tho he won I didn't feel he earned it, he seems to always need assistance from other monsters to actually win. Hell the only reason why he won in the first movie is because the Muto's got distracted after their egg nest got destroyed by the humans. He needed the assistance of humans to help him. I mean i know Final Goji needed help from the humans in the ending fight but at least he was going against an upgraded version of Ghidorah and went through the whole day kicking the asses of the other monsters.

I wondered why toho signed off on Zilla, then I found out they didn't have many options. It was either approve the design and hope Tri-star gets it right or don't approve and cancel the film.

If I counted correctly; I'd say that Kiryugoji managed to get about eleven hits at his opponents. Though moi agrees with thee on this Godzillas Incarnation being rather questionable in combat
I'm just gonna point out cause I'm a little crybaby fanboy for kiryugoji so... Godzilla could've easily destroyed kiryu at several moments but didn't due to interventions of other monsters and the kiryu squad
I actually prefer the 2014 design over kotm. Specifically because the spines look inconsistent on kotm, they start straight and jagged but splay out only in the middle, where 2014 they are uniform
Despite its major flaws I do like 98 Zilla & Zilla Jr

Kiryu got his arm destroyed in the last movie because him and Godzilla shot the Atomic Breath and Absolute Zero Cannon.

7:30 I see someone's nose on the neck of the suit, further proving that this suit feels like an actual guy in a suit.
I feel like godzilla's derpy oddly shaped face/head in some movies kind of makes sense considering he is ultimately a mutated dinosaur who had his physiology altered by radiation exposure.
One of the things that kinda annoys me is when some people say Millenium Godzilla is the weakest and i have to remind them that Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Tokyo SOS is not the same as Godzilla Final Wars, GMK, and Godzilla 2000 and Megaguirus Godzilla
I would say Godzilla Final Wars was the strongest millennium Godzilla, GMK was the second strongest, Godzilla 2000 and vs Megaguirus is the 3rd and Against Mechagodzilla and SOS was the weakest

2014 looks like elephant feet. i wouldent be surpised if he has the bone stucture like an elephant's feet which looks like human feet but is on its tippy toes with a big ball of fat on its heels. also elephant toe nails even can look like goji 2019 toe nails if given enough time. maybe legendary goji's feet are actueally elephant feet
KiryuGoji seems to get most of his attacks with his atomic breath. Maybe he isn't the greatest at hand-to-hand combat, but more of a powerful ranged fighter. He is better at a distance. So he may be weak at hand-to-hand combat, but at range he seems to do fairly well. Sort of that middle-ground.
Personally, I'd put Shin Godzilla on this list. I get that they were going for a radiation stricken, zombie lizard kinda look, but it just didn't sit well for me. That and the goofy sternum bit that sticks out.

It's infuriating that of all 64 Godzilla films out there they ALL look different from each other and some of them have different origins. But there's a video explaining that 7 of them are different due to their origins but an article.explains there are 11 different Godzillas. I choose to stick with the original 7 because the article includes the Godzilla from Godzilla raids again because the very first one died at the end of the movie, Godzilla jr from the heisei period, 2000 millennium Godzilla and spacegodzilla

He doesn’t hate the suit, he just hate how he was portrayed, because most of the time KiryuGoji just lets his enemies attack him and he doesn’t even fight back.

I think that’s what Alex meant. This Godzilla is quite weak in combat and clearly doesn’t even know how to fight
@@prjoliphant7951 He killed Mothra with the atomic breath, not really in Hand to Hand. And he straight up lost to Kiryu in 2002 and tied with him 2003. He never really fought Kiryu well in h2h, and he only really did damage with the atomic breath.
The absolute zero canon is easily his best durability feat, and it is an actual impressive feat of durability.

I agree with you almost 100% on all the points of this video, the only points I disagree with is that the Kiryu saga Godzilla design is probably one of my top favorites but I also don't understand/agree with where he loses points (how he easily gets pushed around) & I think the animatronic 1984 Godzilla looks more threatening than the actual suit (that movie really scared me as a kid) but everything else I agree with, although I personally think the number 2 worst design should have been the Son of Godzilla design, I also think that if the suit used in Godzilla Raids Again had a different head it would have been so much better

About Too shitting on ToraGoji/1998/Zilla, Emmerich said if they didn't do it like this, they weren't gonna do it at all. Not to mention Emmerich never sent Tatopolous the rules for making a Godzilla design. Including the Godzilla Can't Die bit.

I will have to disagree that Godzilla earth isn't very powerful. He has a very strong shield and atomic breath and when he is extremely injured he can regenerate and turn into burning Godzilla and can destroy the final wars Godzilla with all or his new abilities.
I like the suits from the Millennium era he looks super threatening and he’s very awesome to look at as the King of the Monsters
