I am happy to say that after some (now much less needed) convincing, next month, we are doing our first campaign!

After 4 years of spitballing the idea, this campaign has actually convinced my coworkers, and my boss from my coffee shop job to start a homebrew campaign with me as the DM. It's glorious how hilarious this is but still true to the game. I thank you for the entertainment and enthusiasm these videos have given to me, and my friends. I only can hope our D&D will be this fun:)

I appreciate politics being mainly kept out of the speech options. Hear enough of that everywhere else. We can enjoy the generated personalities better this way and escape the shit show that is politics today lol.

I have no clue how this stuff is done, I assumed you fed a program information (maybe videos, news articles, interviews, and that sort of thing) and it learned to devolope a personality from there. Next, you ask it to do stuff, and it does stuff. Lol 😆 So I assumed real world stuff bleeding into the dialog was inevitable. How ever this is done, damn fine work!

Honestly, it was really entertaining to write... I had a bunch of different randomised outcomes depending on how quick he escaped its clutches/if he managed to escape at all Then after he freed himself, I wrote out 6 brief scenarios of where he could land and rolled a d6 for it... the outcome was pretty hilarious 🤣

Seriously, everyone is cool, but Saxiron has a lot of karma built into him. The one who was bullied the most despite actually using his brain cells. Now he finally has armor, and Celestia is the member with the shortest screen time, meaning we've never seen her power, making her potential unknown and therefore dangerous. I think Saxiron and Celestia have a chance. They can plan something truly smart. It would be out of character otherwise. It's time for Tronald and Raah to pay for their crimes - Tronald regularly nearly drove Saxiron mad and Raah was the one who actually murdered people... and made an old woman kiss the wall. Saxiron is the moral compass of the group and is crucially important because he is the harbinger of exposition - the one who really KNOWS the rules of the game... and offers insights that are often dismissed but no less valuable. - He MUST achieve enlightenment because he WILL use it WELL. #GoSaxiron

if this is a shingami like ryuk he wouldn't lie but he would bend the truth, could this be similar to when grog fucked up with the deck of many things and spawn a side quest to a demi plain to retrieve the loosers?
I dont think rules for fall damage of 20d6 is the problem. Rage is halving all physical damage better than the 4th level spell stoneskin... thats the main issue in 5E. But as for the victors for next episode its easily tronald and rhaar, celestia is too squishy and will go down first. Once that happens Saxiron cant hold out for long even though he is the toughest character.
Imo Barbarians main feature being better than a single spell that a wizard can cast is ok. But yeah 20d6 cap for falling damage is low, I would cap it around 50d6 or something.

I dont see a reason for an increase to fall damage. 20d6 will kill all PC's below the heroic tier of play, as long as they cannot halve the damage. plus this penalty only hurts martials that cannot negate fall damage like most any caster can. You dont need to make them worse.
I honestly hope that saxaron knocks out rawr, poor guy has to out up with too much shit from this group. I'm all for chaos but poor guy just gets shit from the others way too much.

by 5e rules, Barbarians have a minimum of 2 Rage activations before a long rest. The number goes up with level.
