Would you say the phat masters are equivalent to the way the wahl 1.5 guard is used when fading with a wahl clipper? I got the masters and the magic clips and I am not licensed, I just cut my own hair and some of my friends. Sometimes my open 1 with the master doesn't connect with the closed 2 the way i want it to.
Nope! The phat Master is like using detachable blades 1a, 1 1/2, & 2. It cuts nothing like a Wahl 1.5. Are you having problems with the Wahl guard system?
Oh ok. Nah, the andis master guard system. Sometimes struggle blending the open 1 to the closed 2.
If you’re using the double magnetic guards, idk why you would because they blend well into each other. The single magnetics are the problem. Luckily Andis came out with the new 1.5 guard for both guard systems. I would recommend not putting that 1.5 guard line in so heavy. That’s the only thing I can think of because the doubles are money. Send me a pic of the cut on ig.

Idk. I’ve heard they’re good if you have the 0 guard. I’ve yet to try them. I have a buddy that has them, and he’s going to let me use them. We’ll see.
