Hey guys I’ve done the same thing about 2 months ago now or close to 2 months punched a wall I also do boxing and I hope it will be fine I need surgery and got pins in it I have about full motion now it is still pretty weak but is one or 2 off your end knuckles a bit more sunken then the other doesn’t pop out as much ?

Okay so I hurt my fingers during sparring and crushed them I could move them and bend them but it doesn’t hurt, it only hurts if I apply pressure. Help ?

You may have ruptured sagittal ligaments. Hopefully you've seen a specialist by now.
Same but I in my case I fell and while falling my first touch was thumb and palm, so I had put all the pressure on the hand so I don’t break my legs as my legs are going through a mild necrosis process. But now I feel I might have a hair line fracture on my hand. And I can’t even go outside because my country is in lockdown.

I hurt my knuckles when I landed on my hand, and it only hurts over the knuckle and on the palm when I press it, but I am easily able to move hand, and my pinky does not look crooked when i make a fist, and both my hands look the same, one with the injury and one without the injury, I can easily move pinky with no pain, and the pain is slightly improving each day, by like 5 percent, I got a tournament next week, any idea wht I should do

its been like 2 weeks, and it has gotten a lot better on its own, I suggest rest another week or so, if u can easily more ur hand, and if ur finger does not hurt on its own, and hurts only when u press it, anyways, speedy recovery to you

I slipped in the bathroom and my hand hit the wall hard. Now my knuckles are swollen tightly around but it only hurts when the fingers are bent

Very helpful. Thank you! I don't believe my hand has been splitted correctly. I also waited a week before going to the hospital because of the global pandemic 🙄. I now have to see a hand surgeon. You can't imagine how embarrassed I am.
I did a pretty good job of setting it myself and keeping it immobile with my homemade splint and bandaging.
This is not the time to lose your temper and do stupid stuff,like I did.

same for me, actually i couldn't afford to do x rays & medical treatment. so i DIY myself a splint with the first aid and using an arm sling immobilizer

I was in a car accident and sustained a 4th metacarpel spiral fracture! I ALSO WAITED 10 DAYS!! I had immediate pain but never broken a bone before, so was not aware the injury was so severe. After 6 days in plaster my bone fused. Thank god because I spent another 4 WEEKS in the incorrect cast!!!

Got into a argument with my girlfriend around 2a.m, punched the wall instant pain. Woke around 8 a.m. and my hand was huge, I couldn't open or close it. My brother who is a ex Marine says hey I can fix that for you but its gonna hurt like hell. Well 2 shots, and I'm ready. My brother says stick your hand out like your shaking my hand. He shook my hand and squeezed extremely hard and I literally heard and felt every bone pop back In place. 4 days later swelling gone. 2 weeks later mobility back

@@sihinidenashawickramasingh5716 when I did it I was so angry and upset and mad at my mother because she told me to get tf our of her car to my face when I told her something that Steve Harvey said and she thought that I was telling her that directly what I said was Stop Sharing Your Life With Small Minded People and my mother took it out of context so when I hit my hand on that Handicap Parking Sign and my door it pushed the bone out of it's socket it hurts like heck I can move it now but it stills cracking but I am in a far better place now

I hit the hard punch bag way to much time, and didn’t realize I was hurt until after I finished my wrist and index hurts, not extremely but it’s a pain, hopefully I can start hitting again

Move ur hand a lot and avoid putting pressure on it when it’s not fully recovered AND punch with fully closed hands next time (only in case of selfdefence)

I'd suggest the surgery.
It's ok, but hurts a little playing basketball. Not so much it stops me from playing, but it threw off my shot a bit.
Typing is slightly affected - I'd have to really think about it to explain how - I still type very fast, but use my ring finger more.
I've had a couple people show me their boxer fractures - it's a conversation starter, and gives me a tiny bit of cred with real bruiser types. It's good to have friends in low places. ;P
I haven't done the surgery. I'd just do it because I'm annoyed that it threw off my shot, although I got better with my off-hand shooting too - when life gives you lemons...

I was really stressed about something and I punched a padded arm chair. I threw 2 quicks punches in rapid succession. Right hand landed on the padded backrest, nice and soft...BUT the punch moved the chair which was on a swivel and the left hand connected with the wood underneath the fabric. That shit hurt

I work with a extreme harasser and after years of his shit I finally lost it. I ended up storming out of there but like a dumb ass I hit the steel wall with full force. It's more like sheet metal but the edge is thicker and my little knuckle caught that I think. I was so mad I couldn't even feel it at all. I later cooled down and moved to a different work area and was trying to work a bit. My hand was swollen and then I could feel the sting in my hand when trying to lift myself up. My little knuckle is really big now i'm not sure why maybe it has some calcium build up in it? My 3rd knuckle is dropped. That was 3 years ago or so and it still hurts even today. I have a lot of tightness in my muscles too in the hand and forearm. Probably any supporting muslces. I also think there might be nerve damage the hand tingles and falls asleep easy like if i'm in bed resting my head on my hand watching tv. It gets hot too which is weird. If I could only go back in time heh.

The wall always wins, I snapped my 4-5th metacarpal and 2 years later I punched and pulled back on a door and broke easy as shit it didn’t hurt to bad but I imediatly recognised the pain, was a little hairline break on my 4th metarcarpel but the lesson is my hand hurts like fuk and it’s a bit stiff, dont punch walls

The bone already grew a little sideways together. You only notice it when you look at it, and I dont notice it doing literately anything with my hand. Calm down bro...

I broke my 4th metacarpal right in the middle, I got a plate and screws put in, now the knuckle has sunken and when I close my hand it twist towards my thumb, anyone know what’s going on?

My knuckle seems to be okay I now have a permanent lump of painful scar tissue in-between the rude finger and pinky finger
The fracture got re healed out of alignment that’s why it twist towards my thumb when I make a fist

When I was a teen, I broke my 4th metacarpal head 5th metacarpal neck of my right hand.
My family refused to take be to the ER.
After 5 months of paralysed hand (yep, 5 months!) someone finaly took be to do XRays.
My bones had healed back but now they are all crooked and my 5th metacarpal joint is very messed up.
7 years later, I still can't hold a pencil because of the constant nauseating pain whenever I clentch anything, my pinkie barely moves, I have barely any strenght in my right hand.
I'm 25 and I've ruined my life, and my family has too because "doctors are for pussies, just man up".
My right hand is almost useless.
I can only use my index and thumb like a sort of hook.
Anytime I touch my pinkie I feel like throwing up still, because of the pain.

Yeah I went through a lot in 2014 and broke most of my knuckles. I think some of my hand most recently, but I was trained decently and I only have a sharp pain from the ring finger bone (in hand) I was from Africa so I never bothered going to a doctor for it and nowadays I fear I have to get them rebroken or something, is that the case or are there recovery exercise that work for loooong broken knuckles with functionality

Normally takes around 6 weeks for a normal Metacarpal fracture to heal tho, if that answers your question.

I was playing a game then the power cut off for the second time long story short i punched the wall so so hard that my pinky knuckle started to hurt so bad didn't go to the doctor because quarantine after 2 week maybe it healed and didn't hurt but when i make a fist there is a stiff or something i can't really describe i feel the nerve was damaged and healed in a wrong way and place i don't think a doctor can help me but guys please don't do stupid things such as punching walls and things it's not worth it to be honest you will suffer from it

I have full dexterity and the only thing left weird is that the knuckle seem to have shifted slightly inwards and the skin and flesh over it is rounder and softer so you can't see the knuckle like on the other hand. But I can feel that the knuckle is intact and fine and aligned properly. It's been good for about 2 weeks now, looking back at my first post it seem it only took 2-3 weeks to get back in shape, felt like ages. All the way up til it felt perfectly fine again my clenched fist would not go in correctly so I was afraid of that "pseudoclaw" you can get where the grissle and bone heal in a weird shape but didnt happen. Hope that gives hope for anyone else who fucked up out there.
@@MindGemdid you wisit a doctor i have a similar fracture had a cast for about 4.5 weeks now first week without cast i cant make a fist after 2 physotherapy i can now go half ways a fist but if i push my limits with excersise it gets swollen on the top. How is yours now?
Dis helped me a lot I heard it takes about 10 weeks to heal fractured metarcaroal and it’s been a week since I fractured and been nervous if I needed to get checked orolly do but I’m sure it’ll heal itself well

I just leaved it that way and after a couple of months it healed but my knuckle is a couple of mm back in ly hand
This happens to me when I got in a fight in school and me and the kid tried to punch each other and our fists hit each other and I was in pain for about a month but now my hand is healed without any medical attention and my pinky is all out of alignment

@Moneytostreet You can get it fixed with surgery. I had this done with my thumb. Didn't go to a doctor for a week and a half and they had to do surgery to reset it. I now have a plate and screws in my hand.

I went in a rage in high school and hit a stall door and tore the bathroom up after the principal gave me a week of iss because a teacher called me a idiot (which every time I went to the office they would always give me iss no matter what so I got sick and fed up with being mistreated) but all I remember is I went to close my fist to hit it again but my pinkey wouldn’t move up or down it was stuck, a cop takes me to the emergency room I done snapped my knuckle back and it also broke my bone connected to my wrist, it’s years later now and my knuckle is still pushed back but It doesn’t affect me when I train mixed martial arts. I believe after all the damage before and after the break, and tearing all my cast off with butter knives before it could heal that I have conditioned my hand to break stone I’m not even joking I’ve hit things way harder then I hit that stall door such as concrete roads, stop signs, and trees and when I went back to the er to get x rays they told me that it was only a bruise they only found my old break.

Man when stupid teenage me did this after arguing with my crack head Dad it felt sooooooo good when the nurse popped it back in place. Like ridiculous good. I dont know how to describe it. Like instant relief.

It's been 1 week since I took off the cast. What worries me is that my pinky can't lie flat. When I try to high-five, my pinky always stays tilted. Did any of you experience this? Does it return to normal? (atleast being able to high-five or wave to someone with all my fingers alligned flat)

i on my mother acc I was drunk last week and felt numb so I punch the wall as usual, this time was different though my hand pop and my friend put it back in place by pressing the top and pulling my fingers at the same time until it pop back in place, trust me you will know when it back in place you will hear the bone crack, so after he did that I run water on my hand and ice it return drinking thinking it will be better soon but I was wrong lol first night I wanted too cut off my hand from the wrist down pain was severe, next day I couldn't use me hand and I couldn't use my fingers but I don't like doctors so I dealt with it myself I got pain killers and a rub for swelling I kept applying ice everyday now this is my 5th day or 6th but I can now move my hand n make a balled fist but I still need time I have too regain strength in my hand but I'm thankful I can use it so y'all don't have too be scared but if your hand is out of place put it back in or see a doctor because it won't heal well
and again!! on your 3rd day try moving your fingers and hand so their won't be stiff and also it help I forgot too add every time I use the rub I put on a bandage

After do your knuckles look different than they looked before and when you break ur hand fracture will it be easier to break that bone again will it be weaker? I just broke my hand I don’t want it to look or be different at all bro
I also completely shattered my bone by accident. The funny thing is that the doctor told me it is actually going to be stronger when it is fully healed. He told me if lets say I punch something hard again I am going to break my ring finger bone, not my pinky finger.

@@Paul-ku5xt Did you mean to say you have a pin? I don't have a pin, I initially tought it was bruised, but I went a month later to the hospital just in case. It turned out to be shattered, but everything grew back together. The bone doctor (I guess) told me it has to do with the tissue, the tissue that gets created when bones heal is actually stronger then the bone itself. Its basically the same if you break a toothpick and repair it with a thick layer of JB weld I guess.. Anyway nothing to worry about!

@@Dittosaurr I have a habit of punching walls, but when I do it's painful but it heals fast, so I usually do it the get stronger I guess but this time I think I over did it cuz I was so angry that I take it out on the wall and I punched it as hard as possible until I couldn't feel my hands and then it healed the next day but it didn't healed fully, but still I started to go at it again by punching tree's and the next day it was just swollen and painful but I didn't mind the pain it was nothing to me. (I know you didn't asked how it happened but I just wanted to tell you, sorry for the long reply😅)

Anybody can help me. I got boxer fracture dr's use the 2pcs of pin and removed after 2weeks but now almost 5weeks total i cant sleep well bcoz of my fiberglass cast. My thumbs till middle fingers are numbs but i can move everynow and then is this normal hope you can help thanks

Read my comment maybe roughing it up like I did and doing that might help. I couldn’t even close my hands or bend my fingers. Look at me now barely a bad feelings at all and I can do what I couldn’t which is move my hand 100% there’s still this small tiny bit of a feeling. Yet it isn’t a bother to what I can still do with it normally

If you think you have fracture you hand or any finger I recommend going to a orthopedic surgeon. They will gladly take a look at your hand before it get worse! Talking from experience

Jus corrected mine after a whole year!!! Start from the bottom of the knuckle that’s hurting and pushed upward keep doing and you’ll feel the knuckle shift back upwards and splint your finger for a while to correct finger should still look awkward for while depending on how long you’ve had the injury but I swear I jus fixed mine with this after so long!! Could’ve cried Frl 😂😅
ya this didnt affect my pinky it did but only for like 2 weeks im guitar major so I allways use it but my hand hurt for like a month and the kid i got in a fight with fought me again and as lucky as i am i knock him out first hit by using me elbow
Does anybody have an idea about what I have? The pinky finger on my right hand has a sharp pain going through it when when I make a fist and the bottom knuckle looks more visible than the same knuckle on my left hand. There is a painful ache when I press the areas around the knuckle. The first aiders at my school don’t know what it is as it’s not swollen. I remember hitting my hand around 2 weeks ago when the pain started but I don’t remember exactly how it happened. I don’t think it’s broken but it my be slightly fractured or sprained. I’m a kid and my parents are always busy and get stressed really easily so I can’t just ask them to take me to the hospital to get it checked out. Tbh, I’m quite scared and don’t know what to do

I’m almost certain a had a boxers fracture probably 7 years ago. Never went to the ER. Hurt like hell for a good while. There’s a bump in my hand from it. But overall, It’s just my normal hand. Lol
