staple gun
amzn.to/2Jh7pcd

staple remover
amzn.to/2Xtg2UE

1. So to start off you want to sand down the chair and wipe it off
2. Remove the staples use a staple remover or pliers [Remember Do not cut the fabric]
3. Next paint your chair once it’s all painted put it aside to let it dry
4. With your fabric you want to place it on top of your new fabric and trace out the dimensions with chalk
5. Place your new fabric on the chair and move it in please, smooth out the edges
6. Staple on the back panel so it is hidden when you place the rest of your fabric
7. Staple the front section of the chair for stability and then staple around the rest of the chair make sure you continue to smooth it out
8. Now as an accent we're going to paint the base a different colour, so line it with painters tape and paint it
9. Remove the painters tape once it’s dry and enjoy your chair
A little tip for you to know when reupholstering an antique chair keep the old fabric on if it is a hay filled it will makes your life easier to reupholster.
