  • You may want to consider watching the complete video because I kind of give you an overview of how your air-conditioner functions and it will be helpful information for the future .So this is how I filled ac on my Dodge journey . This AC recharge information is pretty much universal to any type of vehicle and like I said this might not be the most professional way to do it but it is certainly a way you can do it at home and that is the point of RUclips videos . It is the Clay way of doing things . You can use this on your Chevy equinox air conditioning system even your BMW X5 air conditioning system or your Saturn Outlook air-conditioning system it is pretty much universal. I hope the video helps you out ! And Thank you for viewing!
    Have a great day

I have a question what do i need to refill the a/c condenser with i hit a wild boar and busted my radiator, radiator fan, and a/c condenser and all of the fluid leaked out of both the radiator and a/c condenser so i know i need radiator fluid but not sure what i need for the a/c condenser

Nice Video! I do have a question for you. I have a 2012 Dodge journey. I've topped off my other cars in the past with the cans you buy and the adapter that came along with it. For some reason on the Journey I couldn't get the adapter/coupling onto the low pressure line. It keep backing off as if the pressure in the line was pushing it off. So you know if theirs are reason why it would do something like that. I did try the adapter/coupling on my other vehicle and it went right on, snapped into place. On the Journey, it feels like pressure is keeping it from doing so. The AC works but it's not as cold as it once was.

I think that’s because there’s two different kinds of adapters at least I think that’s the way I am understanding what you’re saying I can’t say for sure

Same issue as you and Gerardo.. anyone figure out why the adapter won't fit correctly?

@@gerardotrevino4948 , from what I can tell its because it takes a different refrigerant. Tag under the hood says R-1234yf instead of R-134a.
My guess is theres a different fitting. Haven't located 1234 yet, so thats as much as I know at this point.

It is confirmed...my journey takes the 1234yf and it comes with a different size , metal fitting. Got it at Auto Zone. AC PRO 14oz can with the trigger cap and hose fitting was 148 bux.

I have a 2019 Dodge journey, R-1234yf, 878g, dual system ithink, I'm trying to recharge from empty. I pulled a vacuum to 30 mercury for 30 minutes, no leaks for 30 minutes, low pressure line open, bleed supply feeder line, car on, AC on, fan at high, refrigerant can upright, slowly open supply feeder line to recharge, I can not get the compressor clutch to engage... So will not pull in refrigerant. Low pressure gauge gets to 120 psi. High pressure gauge stays at 0. My pressure switch sensor is a 3 wire, so I can't jump it. What am I'm missing????? Can you help me?

My compressor won't come on. So it won't suck the refrigerant through
