La primera formación de Angra era mágica! Con Edu sacaron excelentes trabajos, pero todo comenzó aquí y Angra se hizo grande con Andre Matos y Rafa liderando, con Kiko dando a conocer su talento y con un Luis y Ricardo con un feeling y personalidad increíbles.
Pedro, when I heard Holy Land album for the first time, I got so surprised by its quality and by the fact that most of the storytelling is based on the portuguese discoveries of Brazil. André and the guys were very influenced by Iron Maiden and Helloween. Also in other songs there is progressive rock elements. You should give a good listen to Carolina IV from this album. Absolute masterpiece. Also interesting is the fusion of Brazilian percussion and keyboards that makes us to remember some intros and jingles from Brazilian telenovelas. To me Holy Land along with 1755 from Moonspell are the best metal albums of all time in the portuguese spoken world. Give a full listen to Holy Land on your own, you won’t regret. I have requested shaman with Andre on Vocals 3 or 4 years ago and you never got it in your channel. You really should give it a try. Just don't go straight away to Fairy Tale which is a wonderful song but is a ballad and may throw you off. For Tomorrow and Disthant thunder are better ones to start. Just make sure to pick the live version.

Deep blue is one of those songs that really touches your soul.. "make believe" is another one. Matos was the maestro RIP.
As i listened to it, i definitelly hear the difference. "Deep Blue" sounds better.
