Great shout-out to Pitbull Audio. As you know my husband and I are huge fans. I wish more brands embraced the P body. I play sitting classical because of an injury so a J bass body isnt a good option right now. I cant lie I love my mini bass. Its so light and easy to play which allows me to practice more. Hopefully that theme will catch on. Always appreciate your videos Sono ✌.

I want the 5-string version of this so bad. I have the regular 20 fret V5 and of all the basses I've had its my favorite, but being a Cliff Burton fan I always need to own an "Orion-bass". 😅
The 5 string is definitely on my radar for 2024!
The Sires P5 and V5 both have a great neck diving 😢😢😢
Of course, you just need to look at them.
My head cannon is that an employee at the factory that makes sire stuff cut too far for the cutaway on a bunch of bodies and sire just made a whole model around these bodies so they can make money off of all of the fucked up bodies

I've been thinking about getting the fretless version of this, but lately I'm really down on Sire because of a major issue I'm having with the P8 I've owned for a couple of months. The tip terminal inside the jack isn't bent out far enough and isn't stiff enough, so after using the bass for a while, I started having problems with the sound dropping out if the plug wiggles around at all inside the jack. It's losing contact. I opened everything up and bent the terminal, and it helped for a day or two, but then the problem started happening again. Now I just don't trust the thing. The first time this happened was in a gig and I had to scramble to figure out what was going on. Not cool.
Me too! I’d like a Fretless version of these and hope to get one soon! Sucks to hear about the QC of Sire. Hoping they get that corrected in 2024 with there newer Gen models
