The primary purpose of Jantar Mantar was to compile astronomical tables, and to predict the times and movements of the sun, moon and planets.

Lmao. My brother is so confused by Jantar Mantar, he is calling it "Modern Art," BRUH. Its an astronomical observatory. Those buildings are the astronomical instruments, like that one with the staircase was a sundial. Another one in the background tracked equinoxes and solstices.
