Since you taking recommendations, I'll point you guys to Dass Doubles, opposite the Unipet Gas Station on El Socorro Rd. San Juan. They're family run and selling since the 80's. Open everyday from 6am til around 11am. They got aloo and baigan pies also and trust me, you can't eat just one. I'm just one of the satisfied customers.
If you are yet to experience a hot pepper sauce, try Red Cap doubles by the old airport! They are open Tuesday to Friday around 6:00am to about 10:00am. Hottest pepper sauce ever!
