@@leviwhite5700Braves are missing Strider, Riley, Murphy, d’Arnaud, and Acuña’s hitting mechanics are a little fucked up currently… and they’re still 26-17. Phillies are playing better than the Braves for sure and are a very good team. But they’re not quite as good as their record would suggest. I still think the Dodgers and Yankees are scarier teams to face than the Phillies. And the past few weeks I’ve been saying that ranking the Phillies above the dodgers is ridiculous, the Phillies schedule is the easiest in MLB. But at this point the Phillies have so much momentum that they deserve to be first in the power rankings.

Phillies have June Schwarber incoming, AND Harper isn’t even playing to his standard. Bohm has been on a different planet and that probably won’t be sustainable unless he just comes into his own as a fully fledged superstar. Also Stott is heating up and when we get Trea Motha fuckin Turner back this shit is gonna be scarier than it already is. Obviously this guys are gonna slump at times but our pitching staff, our bench, and our stud lineup is beautiful to see.

Soft schedule comments make no sense when the Dodgers lost 2/3 and Braves lost 3/4 to the Padres, a team the Phillies swept. The Braves are also only .500 against the Mets while the Phillies are .750 so far in the season series.
The Phillies are getting better starting pitching, better relief pitching, and better hitting in all aspects over the Braves. They have absolutely no argument for being better than the Phillies whatsoever. Neither team have been their absolute best yet so that argument doesn’t matter either.
Dodgers could have a case but they are getting so little out of the bottom of their lineup. If Betts, Freeman, Ohtani, or Smith dont go off they will not win. Phillies have gotten more value out of their 5-9 hitters than any team in baseball, including their bench players who have performed exceptionally in the games where Harper, Schwarber, Turner, and Realmuto were out. Dodgers pitching still hasnt proved they can hold up for the entire season where it is questionable that Glasnow and Buehler almost never stay healthy. whereas the Phillies have 3 Bonafide Starters that will pitch every 5 days, and 2/3 will probably be in CY contention. Dodgers bullpen has been pretty amazing, they have the 3rd best ERA so Ill give them that. With Turnbull moving to the bullpen, and cutting Brogdon the Phillies pen should continue to improve from the 22nd, as they were rated 4th over the past 2 weeks.

Not to mention there are only a handful of teams above .500 right now. They talk as if Phils are playing against AAA teams.

Not to mention that as a Philly fanbase, they'd be the first people to cast doubt if they didn't feel like this team was legit.

Was the Phillies schedule easy the past 2 Octobers when they made a deep run since ‘22.
Brother people smoking copium are crazy. literally dominated the best team in baseball the last 2 years.... sadly baseball is a game of hot streaks and we fizzled out and it was especially painful last year..... when we were the clear favorites to win it all by the second week of the playoffs. The Diamondbacks had no chance of beating the Rangers but we could have easily beat them.... Buuut, we blew it

Yankee’s feel like they’re going to get to the all star break and then completely collapse. Phils are looking like they’re going to maintain their record as the best team in baseball!

13:10 I’m tired of hearing about the Phillies easy schedule. There are only 5 teams in the NL above .500. The Dodgers and Braves have beat up on them also. Just cuz the Phillies take 2/3 from a 20-win team and the Dodgers take 2/3 from a 21-win team doesn’t mean that the Phillies have an easy schedule. The Padres were above .500 until we swept them. Ugh
Orioles Yankees ALCS will be awesome. So will Dodgers Phillies NLCS.
