    Had a XB12s for 4 years. Great looking bike ,nothing on the road looked like it. Handled really well. No chicken strips. Fuel in frame, swing arm oil tank, rim disc,quirkiness on two wheels. Harley dropped the ball when they dropped Erik Buell.

    Funny ha ha? I love the look of buells. They are different from anything else and are amazingly designed and sound fricking amazing!

    I have an 09 and it’s by far the best bike I’ve owned! I finally got over the idea of owning a race bike and trying to ride it on the streets. This is a naked street warrior, and is so much fun in the twisties! I rarely have to shift or brake on windy roads because of the torquey V twin. And the styling is phenomenal: unique, functional, and lightweight. Mine is all black and looks like a Batbike! Sad they are gone, but will keep this as long as I can keep it on the road.

      I also have a all black 09 xb12s. Love it! Been into buells for awhile now. Coming off of liter bikes for about a decade. People always wonder what it is. Buddy has an 05 xb12 we just put an nhrs 1250 kit on Nhrs cat 3 cams and ported heads (stock valves/springs) substantial power gain. Both have dnd exhaust and buell race ecm. His bike wheels up in 3rd with hardly any clutch. It's a god damn riot. I will be doing the same to mine this winter its honestly that much more fun. Also have an EBR1190sx with dean Adam's pipe. It's a beast. But the xb12s is my go to bike. If u ever do work to your bike I highly recommend the 1250 kit nhrs cat 3 or hammer performance impact 560 cams and ported stock valve heads. Its works excellent with the race ecm and it's worth every dollar.

    deceptive review nowadays.. the XB is fantastic but the suspension settings have to be set just right for your weight and riding style, shorter riders were in mind.. and no mention of the possible upgrades that were cheap and easy. Also, the XB was not a "sport" motorcycle.. it was pure "Hooligan", one of the best stunt/urban assault motorcycles around.

    Well bloody hell, of course he didn't like the Buell....it only has a single disc up front which makes stopping to blow dudes at truck stops much harder

    I'm pretty sure I wanna kick this guys ass. I'm 6' and weigh 220lbs. my Buell is perfect for me, love this godamn bike.

      Same here. 6'2", 220lbs. I've owned a slew of sportbikes and this one beats them all in the fun factor. I took it to the track and it flat rips. Falls into corners with much more ease than my R1. And the torque is addicting. Never selling this bike.

    Euroclowns. 85flbs torque for about over half of the rev range. It's not a track bike it's a Street Fighter. And it does that extremely well.

    • @tylerfabish5578
      @tylerfabish5578 5 лет назад +2

      the firebolts are excellent track bikes. torque from bottom to top of rev band and leans so easily. brakes are extra sharp

    • @fvgc454ss

      @@tylerfabish5578 they are excellent handling bikes. Just not much on the big end. But it's awesome on the street. Im spoiled tho, Road America is the closest track an hour away from me its more apparent the top speed is lacking. Especially going up the big hill straight. But everywhere else they perform excellent. Still have my 09xb12s. But it's big brother showed up a few months ago. EBR 1190sx. Dean Adam's exhaust race ecu and 44 sprocket. MOSNTER. Still love the lightning tho handling, torque and sound is hard to beat.

      @@fvgc454ss i was in st louis on one of the spacious interstates on my xb12r. I did a few roll races with a stock '18 zx6r. We were neck and neck from 60-110, after that the 600 took off. But tgese bikes are as fast or faster than the 600s below 100mph

    • @fvgc454ss
      @fvgc454ss 5 лет назад +2

      @@tylerfabish5578 I've had 4 different xb series bikes. Otherwise I've owned liter bikes for 18-19 years. Bought a cbr900rr right out of the gate back in the day never had a 600. Buell xb series is a good blend of horsepower and torque and handling. Not a speed demon but 0to100 it will hang with just about everything. Xb12s is still one of my favorite bikes of all time.

    You can tell this guy wouldn't like the aggressive Buell by his girly helmet.

    • @Gloomshadow100
      @Gloomshadow100 10 лет назад +10

      the Helmet was a dead giveaway . Plus, hes on a bone-stock 12S with street maps in the ecm... without the tail-chop and he is running stock mirrors (feels goofy)... he is also running that steel stock canister that is about 15-20lbs overweight. When you got the right guy on a correctly set-up XB12S, not much is going to be able to fuck with that 84 lb-ft of torque in everyday, in-town riding. There are tons of 2004 Jap-4s in the scrapyard right now that these guys rated highly while most of those 04 XBs are still out there running around somewhere...

    You need to stick to a 69 Bonnieville. That’s more your style. It’s American. It’s supposed to piss you off a little.

    If you didn't like the review, your dislike was predictable once you consider in the names of narrators - Johnson & Pole (two American euphemisms for penis). Outside the borders, American standards and ways of doing things aren't understood.
