    I’ve had my 2023 SX Prestige for a month now & am loving it! Still no traditional dual exhaust for 2024 & they stuck with those hideous wheels? That alone pushed me to upgrade to the SX. I get comments all the time on the sporty wheels on my new SX which I got for under the $53k sticker because I shopped around. Good luck getting a deal on the 2024 models! I should mention I swore I’d never spend over $50k for a KIA but they hold their value better than any car out there. I got $34k for my 2020 S that I bought new for $35k 3 years ago. A better investment than my previous 4Runner or Highlanders by far. Toyotas are everywhere but if you see a Telluride on a lot don’t wait to go back because it will be gone. Even my 2020 was sold less than 24 hours after I traded it in.

    It's inexcusable to have no wireless CarPlay or Android Auto option in 2024, much less in my 2023 X-Pro, or in the last few years for crying out loud. Most companies have had this for years, and this car is $50K+. I bought an adapter and it mostly works but there are a few areas where it consistently lags out and freezes up, like near the fire station I pass every day, probably due to Kia not shielding the car for wireless interference properly on the same spectrum that these technologies use.

    Thanks for this guys. My sister has a 2021 Palisade and as a Ford owner, I found it very impressive and comfortable over a 2000 mile round trip - all highway. The MPG at 73 mph, again, all highway w/cruise control was just over 30mpg! For a 4400lb. vehicle with nearly 300hp, that sure is impressive! The 'self driving' feature was used throughout and I found it fun and very trustworthy. Just have to be ready for the brakes to auto engage should someone make a quick lane change in front of you!

The real contenders show what they’re made of after 100,000 miles. We can have a real discussion than! But I forgot though, that’s why Kia and Hyundai have a 10 year warranty. Funny though I wonder why no other auto manufacturer does that?? 🤔

    This was an easy fix for Kia since the DRL/turn signals were already on a switchback circuit. And these still aren't as iconic as the "ring". But the change is welcome since this is a Telluride trademark. That said, this still remains one of the best bangs for buck of any SUV. The changes for 2023 addressed most of what was missed on the intro models, and the DRL update proves Kia is listening to their customers(most automakers dont change things so fast).
    The EX is definitely the sweet spot of the line-up, but the 😊wheels are still...ahem, hideous. Cmon Kia, you guys had a HIT with the 20-22 model and the classy-ness it had.

    test drove the kia telluride along with toyota highlander and mazda cx-90 here recently. There really is no comparison in my mind for any other SUV's to the '24 telluride. So many more standard features and much better interior and exterior design compared to most. I did like the mazda cx-90 seats the best of the 3 and it accelerated more quickly as well but telluride wasn't that far behind. Feels much bigger on the inside especially over the CX-90. Overall, from features, styles, color options, price, warranty, and other details, the '24 telluride from all the due diligence i've been doing cannot be beat. 2:10 The Telluride and Sorento have too many trims after they added the X-Line and X-Pro and just causes confusion for consumers. I'd venture to guess that 90+% of Tellurides will never be taken off road so those X-Line/X-Pro options aren't necessary. 4:16 I agree that they need to have one exhaust on each side for symmetry like Toyota has been doing for several years. Kias having dual exhaust only on one side with these nice designs has always annoyed me. It seems like a cost saving measure so they only need to install one muffler.

      You're welcome! HDA 2.0 definitely works more seamlessly and has a few nice upgrades but it's not a huge departure from v1.0. One of the main enhancements is auto lane change but considering you have to keep your hands on the steering wheel, it's of limited use

    • @R56Cooper
      @R56Cooper Год назад

      @CarConfections thanks for the clarification! Yes, the auto lane change would be nice-- but if HDA2's lane centering is not that different with HDA1.5, will stay with HDA1.5 until HDA3 or the next evolution of KIA's ADAS system gets released. Thanks!

      I just drive 450 miles from Cleveland to philly last night. I also own a Tesla and HDA2.0 is the best non-subscription self driving tech on the market. Holy shit is it nice on a long trip. So competent, I barely did anything the entire Time

    • @R56Cooper
      @R56Cooper Год назад +1

      @MrNoahJ76 wow thanks for the insight! Will have to check out HDA 2.0 for an extended test drive. Which system do you prefer? HDA 2.0 or autopilot? Does the Tesla allow lane centering to be turned on even without adaptive cruise? (I do enjoy that KIA is one of the few brands that allows this)
      I am considering a model Y. Also, I was reading that the upcoming KIA EV9 will have some brand new semi-autonomous system! Will be interesting to see how it performs!

      I have a Kia K-5 with HDA 1, and my partner has a Hyundai Elantra where HDA 2 was turned on using a scan tool, and the Elantra’s ability to lane center is pretty substantially better. We have taken road trips in both and both will do mostly straight highway no problem, but the K-5 struggles with winding roads and the Elantra does them no problem. I think it’s worth it if you’re someone who would use it a lot (I don’t but my partner does)
