I still cry every time i see this. My wife passed away from cancer after 25yrs of being together and left me with two girls, i absolutely love this movie.
Man.... That 20 seconds of courage is still inside.... But I haven't found anyone worth using.... Buddy... I love this... Everytime.. I repeat everytime I wish someone was there for me ..... For whom I could say this...
This is the scene that forever changed my life before this it was ok but then suddenly I just smiled back and knew my life would never be the same again.
When I watched this movie for the first time and when the wife showed up in this scene, my heart and I started tearing up. I have a soft tendered heart ❤️ so I get emotional pretty easily. 😭😭💔 I loved this movie. It’s been one of my favorites ever seen I’ve watched it.
My mum passed away from cancer 2 months ago, there’s me and my little sister. I’m 24, she’s 18 and my dad. It’s so hard but I watch stuff like this and know she’s still here 💕
Trust me..I know too. My dad passed in 1985 when I just turned 17. Then in 2001 my mom died of Cancer. So it has been me and my older sister. I'm 55 now and never stop missing them. This scene really hit home in so many ways.
Gotta give credit to the extras in the background for not breaking down in this scene. I would’ve started sobbing if I was sitting in the background lol
One of the hardest scenes for me to watch in the whole film. She has only two words in the whole film and yet those two words rip me apart every time. 🥲😪🥲😪🥲😪
Idk if I’m hitting the Mandela effect but I remember this scene ending with a different version of hoppipolla. The song that plays when the zoo opens and the scenes are cut to everyone in the zoo
According to new age Feminists this scene is not Romantic. This poor woman's rights was infringed she was sexually harassed and Matt Damon is a stalker misogynist mansplaining to his kids Well done Feminism you killed chivalry and romance.
Guess i found people more annoying than facebook vegans: anti-feminists of youtube. Nowhere in the scene or the movie does it talk about feminism why do you have to bring it up in the comments? no one asked, no one cares, just enjoy the damn scene and let go of that bitterness
I would’ve said the same thing pretty much why would an amazing beautiful women like you take time out of your day to even talk to someone like me lmao still haven’t met my future one yet at 21 years 👀
Hmm... "Why not" is the most impressing words in the movie with "20 secs of insane courage". Enough to make dry men cry! Additionally, look at the same words in cartoon of hagar as to Biden...
There's one thing I don't understand though, so can anyone help me? Are they envisioning their mom in the chair? Or can they actually see her spirit? Like, I just don't get that one thing! Please help!
He meant it as in "I can't even believe someone as beautiful as you would even talk to a guy like me" but framed as a question. Not truly asking her why she talked to him.
i think like you but a lot of people (look like "extrem feminism" take simple questions (like him) asked in the street like harassing... It's indeed the case in france
@@maximeheuze1111 that's because a lot of men in the streets are asking questions like this on repeat mode. If you are a woman living in Paris or another big city and you are being stopped in you tracks in the streets by perfect strangers, complimenting you about your beauty, really you will understand. It's all about context. In the streets when you are going somewhere it doesn't feel super nice. Just imagine. 10 times a day ! For some un-fortunate beautiful Girls/women. That's a lot !!!! + Remember those men are perfect strangers and you are in the streets. You don't know what they are really up to ! They could use you for instant gratification or instant cash. !!! Some of them can become verbally aggressive very quickly. Yeah i know that's not good advertising for other men. Tell them! Believe me that's not super fun to handle when you are a woman and you are on the streets.

So sorry for your loss. I hope you and your daughters are doing well now.
Ur girls are lucky to have a dad like u
@@hasb.3645 thank you very much for that
@@MulaBatiswaHutagaol it’s taken 4yrs, but wee are starting to lie with it the best we can.
I'm so sorry for your loss
My dad is the toughest person I’ve ever met and this scene make him cry every time
My future children were erased from existence because their mother said no to me.
Matt Damon is well known for his tough roles, but he is superb in this movie, as are all the cast. The zoo inspector is a hoot!!
This scene fucking broke me.. holy shit
“Okay, now I’m in the restaurant” that line makes me chuckle every time...man I love this movie...
Such an underrated movie. So iconic
The best lesson of this movie:
*Sometimes all you need is just 20 secs of courage, something great will come out of it.*
Thanks Cameron Crowe and Matt Damon for making me cry like a baby here.
Man.... That 20 seconds of courage is still inside.... But I haven't found anyone worth using.... Buddy... I love this... Everytime.. I repeat everytime I wish someone was there for me ..... For whom I could say this...
I couldn't agree more bro. But don´t lose hope, when you less expect a special person could appear in your life
You will definitely find one, don’t loose hope 😊
@@toomkhamphoungmachan3431 I still have my finger crossed
How is jailtime?? U still there?
Best bit of the whole film, tears me up, beautiful
👍
This is the scene that forever changed my life before this it was ok but then suddenly I just smiled back and knew my life would never be the same again.
The writing in the movie has its ups and downs, but two simple words, "Why not?" breaks me every time.
I randomly remembered yesterday how beautiful this scene was. So glad I found it!!
My mom showed me this movie when I was seven it has been my favorite movie since
I love this movie so badly
What a great movie this is !
Sickguy Jam ikr?? I almost cried watching this scene.

This movie was beautiful :,)
I love this movie and all the actors are great in it especially Scarlett Johansson this movie made me cry
She was awesome here.
Sure, Black Widow... Meh, she's great but this is truly amazing acting prowess.

I'm a single dad, raised my twins (boy and girl) alone. At 67 years old, I still cry watching this.
This movie has meant a lot to me my entire life and I hope to show it to my children someday.
This is such a underrated film ❤️
This is my favorite Matt Damon movie besides Spirit. Who agrees 👍
I agree with you! :D

They don't get to hear the music
This is so sappy, it’s almost epic.
I agree super pussy finger
RUclips! Can I just have NOT EVEN 3 minutes without 2 ads interrupting this beautiful moment?!?!
YT: try the premium then. :D
Not seen the movie... but this scene just made me cry
This is the best life lesson. I could add in my life. That 20 sec of courage can literally channge. Someones life.
- Why would an amazing woman like you even talk to someone like me?
- You're right! Why would I?
lol
anyone rewatching movies like i am and then coming to youtube to watch its clips bc it was t h a t great 🥺
Matt said to himself in that moment, "I gotta go see about a girl"
First words spoken to me by a cute girl back in 84 ... "Why Not?" ... We connected in 85 with a first kiss and never looked back. Married her forever!
One of the hardest scenes for me to watch in the whole film. She has only two words in the whole film and yet those two words rip me apart every time. 🥲😪🥲😪🥲😪
Goosebumps
"this moment"
Idk if I’m hitting the Mandela effect but I remember this scene ending with a different version of hoppipolla. The song that plays when the zoo opens and the scenes are cut to everyone in the zoo
This scene is right at the end after it pans over the zoo with hoppipolla playing. This film is the reason it’s one of my favourite songs :)
I’m a guy , this makes me tearful
I am from india.. when i saw the trailer of this movie i get attracted and i search for this and finally i got it...nice movie...
Wonderful!
Amazing scene
The EXACT reason I'm resilient with someone

Look at her finale answer "why not" it's much love n respect for him not a fmit
That's why most of feminishit should get their heads cut

Today: this is all on Tinder. Matt Damon messages "Why would an amazing woman..." Left swipe.
This is why realness and real places are still worthy ;-)
Rob Feltus lol 😂

This is harassment if you are ugly if you are good looking is less harassment tbh
Imagine if this happened now ? 😂
Feminists would go nuts 😂

Open to interpretation 😊
Tried it but got rejected hard yo
So your children were erased from existence because their mother said no to you.
They are not gonna make a movie about you 😂😂
at 4:47 i paused
Good luck with that.
i don't get it, she didn't even talk to him. so the last sentence feels out of place.
He meant it as in "I can't even believe someone as beautiful as you would even talk to a guy like me" but framed as a question. Not truly asking her why she talked to him.
ankitshekharsingh02 you mean "woman" not "women"
this guy is so lucky, his wife is dead and he's got Scarlett Johansson for a replacement...talking about an upgrade
Bruh they all seeing dead ppl?

Don't do this dude. It's kinda harassment in real life.
This will be harassment
