Payment jokes aside, supercell did a great job with the subtlety of the naming on this one. "The void" it deals less damage against more targets because fear is at it's strongest when you're alone.

Nah this shit will counter entire decks by itself, it kills every 3-5 elixir ranged support, and its range is really small so you can easily snipe them

More damage than fireball? My brother in Christ, its max damage is comparable to rocket and lightning.
Also, kinda right. It can do below average against swarm. But also, your opponent can actually save their unit from max void damage by placing another unit in the void. So it's a spell that can be countered.
It's actually good against swarm, but it's harder to position the spell so all 3 hits can damage the swarms. Mixing swarms with tanks however is another story, so this spell actually counters individual cards but weak against massive push, but that's the point of this spell, to prevent your opponent from building that push

i find it to be way more similar to lightning, as it's good against mid-high hp enemies but not big swarms
this spell is very unpolished as of yet.
1 it has basically no different color between the two sides
2 it makes a electric sound, with no elictricity

The color difference probably doesn't matter, most spells look the same regardless of red/blue

You need to actively counter void with swarm around your heavy hitter so that it doesn't lose you elixir. A whole new dimension of thinking is needed for both sides when void is in play (though you could say the same about tower troops and evolutions)

They will release this spell evolved version with the quotation -" Lightening Never strikes twice " and evolved version will just anihilate anything that is placed within the circle either single or multiple 😬💀
Maybe it’s like: 1 (strong damage) 2-4 (normal stats) 5-6 (strong) 7+ (weak)
Damage for single target is doubled, and any troop takes full damage no matter how many troops are in the zone

The evolved (or should I say „tainted") void would be called „abyss".
I really like it! It's really good against single units but not great against multiple
And I like how it has counter play. You can just place more units in the void if you want an important unit (like a musketeer) survive because it lasts so long! And it's not great again swarm because it takes a lot of time to kill it. I love it! It seems pretty balanced with a high skill cap

I like the counterplay its kinda like how you can block lightning. Easier to disrupt void than lightning but the payoff for void hitting is insane
Its really useful for sniping annoying things and is slow enough to save your glass cannon type cards

I think the void spell is gonna be super unique and versatile! It’s cool to finally see a new spell with such interesting interactions especially considering how long ago the last proper spell was made

Considering the concept of the card - dealing less/dispersed damage when more troops are in the void, it doesnt stun so it doesnt buy you time ultimatley putting you at an elixir disadvantage if your opponent is able to predict it - it's pretty balanced.

Good to see supercell add a high skill and a really unique spell after a while, the idea is really good. It for Forces you to play differently with the spell and its not like a spell to do high damage to the tower, you only use it on the tower if you're really desperate or the tower is really low, its mostly probably used to defend and pick off the troops behind the tanks, which actually makes the spell viable

@@aufakevin2262i feel like the radius increase would be a nerf, the purpose of this spell is pretty much sniping single targets, a bigger radius means more units would be able to enter its range, making it deal less damage
1650 damage is too big, I think changing it to 1450 would be better because this spell only has 3 elixirs

I like it, all the spells require units to be group up so it can get max value, but the void is the exact opposite
I just realized they added a spell resistant wizard evolution, then the very next day released a spell that can counter the evo wizard
This is actuallt pretty awesome ngl. Feels slightlt off in design/art but i am not complaining about that. Gotta be fairly complex in usage too , but hella versatile.
Void counters elixir pumps and placing a cheap card can protect the unit that the void is targeting

I dunno, 3 elixir to attack 1 troop/building otherwise it does less damage pretty significantly. It really kinda depends what troop it is, and if it’s worth using a spell on just 1 (wizard, knight, dark prince, prince) to name a few. Cause any troop that spawns something will take damage but won’t be killed by the void right away (night witch, witch, etc)
I like how balanced this spell is, it’s kinda risky to use, due to heavy pushes with tanks and swarm, but at the same time it shatters expensive cards by themselves. I’m not sure if I’ll use it over Evo zap or arrows (my favorite spells) yet

Actually really creative, props to Supercell.
Ngl this might be one of the best new additions in a while. Its powerful and versatile, but requires careful placement and can be partially countered with good reactions. Its just fast enough that the first 1 or 2 strikes will probably hit the target as intended, but the 2nd or 3rd strikes can be dispersed by placing troops in the area, thus saving the original target from dying. Plus its also really bad on crown tower so it doesnt push the spell cycle meta further.

A damage spell that's more convenient to NOT use on towers is actually something that was very needed
I feel like the first zap shoupd be slightly delayed, because ive seen people say "1500 for 3 elixer is fair and balanced" (as a joke), and the play is supposed to be "use swarm", but the issue is you cant react fast enough + lag + place delay. Just adding maybe even 0.75 seconds to the first zap would make it so much more balanced imo
High reward if you can pull it off, high skill to react in time, high skill to place it propely, so its a high skill card

This is a great direction that spells should go in, it is very useful against single units since it is only 3 elixr but can do more damage then fireball, but their is counter play to it by placing any other troops on it
In my opinion, it is different than zap/evo zap because zap can stun enemy. This Void spell also has different tier damage so you can choose when & what to use it for

My only concern is that the 3 elixir cost is going to further push 5 elixir cards like Executioner and Wizard even further out of the meta.
But then if they make it 4 elixir you'd be better off using fireball.
I guess anyone running one of the 5 elixir cards I mentioned just shouldn't leave their 5 elixir troops alone if they know their opponent has the void spell.

Interestingly, this spell might boost up beatdown decks, since it's unlikely it'll be used as a smal spell, and spawner troops could get back into the meta too.

This spells makes pushes closer toghether, so pairing the void with a splasher is a good thing to do, since separating makes the void strong, and uniting makes the splash stronguer.
People are 100% downplaying the crown tower damage of the Void spell, it does more damage than arrows to crown towers which is good, it just doesn’t do 1500 damage to towers because that’s broken obviously
So it’s just a re-skin lighting spell lol

I think the spell is cool and its mechanic is really interesting, does look like a spell you see in one of those 2016-2017 "UPCOMING CLASH ROYALE SPELLS, REAL NO FAKE 100%" with modern music played in the background but aside from that i think its an interesting card that i honestly just wished they added like its unique SFX instead of reusing the zap SFX.

I love this card from Supercell. At first, I thought it would teleport "enemy" troops back 2-3 tiles, but maybe Supercell will make a portal spell in the future. ❤

Void is still op, i mean it can one shot a wizard, a 5 elixer card, but its best counter will be cycle cards
Its prob not gonna be good for tanks as there will be stuff behind it, prob best for a single defensive card that survives fireball (like wizard or sparky)
