Relief printing at Edinburgh Printmakers

Relief printing demonstrated Leena Nammari, Studio technician at Edinburgh Printmakers
The image is carved out of wood or linoleum so that the cut marks are lower than the flat surface. Then the printing block is inked up before paper is laid on top and passed through the press.
