    A note on the spray foam, after you finish with it if you take the straw off and clean it out with brake cleaner and clean the tip of the can as well, you can usually use it again later. Also, make sure you invert the can while you spray. Great vid btw

    Your foam to seal the gap is the best. Don't need expensive needle n thread. Two thumbs up 4 u man.

    I want to make some these just wondering for the ones that you didn't fill all the way did the sand settle to the bottom? I'm worried I'll have a ball that's half sand and have foam and throw the balance off.

    Best tutorial - nearly every other one was suggesting patches on all points - the expanding foam is definitely the best idea, glad I stumbled across this.

    Great video ! For the issue on the really old ball....would that make sense to wrap them with duct tape at the end ?

  • @durthvander
    @durthvander 11 лет назад +3

    What was the foam that you used? Also, the hole that you did, is it thru to the inner membrane that holds the air? Or is it only puncturing the outer wall? Nice video btw, I like the fact that you used something to ensure stuff doesn't move around and the ball feels solid.

    • @cherokeehackslife
      @cherokeehackslife  11 лет назад

      Similar to this stuff but wal-mart had some other brand. www.homedepot.com/p/GREAT-STUFF-16-oz-Gaps-and-Cracks-Insulating-Foam-Sealant-162848/100003351
      It is through the inner membrane which is a bit of a pain in the ass, but its the only way to really fill the whole properly.
      Thanks! I used them pretty much every week with my kids and little league team. Still holding up.

    Time is money. Work harder and buy a proper medicine ball. Play it again sports usually has deals. Spend half the time looking for deals than making something that could fail. Again time is money. Food for thought.
