@@btchiaintkidding7837 #8 actually ends up being a lot more complicated than that. The endings basically work on a points system. You're awarded points towards each ending by fulfilling conditions tied to that ending. It's true that killing 90 enemies and then 120 enemies are conditions for unlocking the Promise ending, worth 1 point each, but you could theoretically still achieve the promise ending with zero kills (if that was possible I mean) provided you met at least two of the other Promise conditions and two or fewer of the conditions for Leave. The reason I say "two" or fewer is because the Memory ending actually starts with two points by default, but the only additional condition Memory has up for grabs is beating the game under 6 hours for 1 point. So Memory is basically the "default" ending, that's the one you're most likely to get if you play carefully and efficiently. And also is Promise and Leave are scoring equal, Promise wins. Depends on how you evaluate "good" and "worst. All endings have their own unique implications. Leave is Elster remembering but not having the strength to do what needs to be done. Memory is Elster remembering the Promise but loving Ariane too much so she decides to die next to her enjoying her company one more time and leaving it to another instance of herself to keep the Promise. Promise is Elster remembering the Promise and going through without ending the cycle for everyone. Lily is Elster creating a new reality through ritual in which only she can be happy, forever reliving the 3000th anniversary ad Infinium, without a chance for the cycle to be broken. Many would argue all are bad endings. Personally I prefer the Promise ending because it stops the torment of everyone but its hardly a "good" ending.
Ohhh, weird shit! Thanks for finding out the real ending! And thanks for the remider of an old Meme/soundfile "My hands are shakin, but I'm still shooting!! Boom headshot!!" it's a classic!
I beat the game at the highest difficoulty and you can't even imagine how hard was the final boss. I was almost out of healing and out of bullets. I couldn't waste a single shot or I would be in a bad spot. It took me many tries but It was so rewarding. I'm never going do to that again.
When I finished the last video I had no idea what the game was about Now that it turns out there's a part 2 and I've seen it I can proudly announce that I still have no idea what the game is about
Essentially this: Elster 512 and Ariane are send on a suicide mission to look for a planet outside the solar system. They fall in love. Ariane is suspected to posses bio resonance power (reading minds etc.). At a certain point the Penrose (the ship) begins to break down. Ariane ends up in cryo sleep while dying. One of the books that is dear to her is "the King in Yellow" which is an eldritch horror story, Cthulhu and the like as a matter of fact Hastur (the King in Yelllow) is a part of the Cthulhu universe. Hastur often "perverts" Artists, which Ariane clearly is. The color Yellow signifies decay and mental illness. Think of him like a malevolent wishgranter who doesnt actually understand how humans or their universe works. It is heavily implied that while in cryo Ariane warps reality itself, likely through the King in Yellow, reliving parts of her life, dreaming new realities into existence. That is why people Ariane doesnt really know or forgets, just simply cease to exist. The reason the Replikas are not all vanishing too is that they are such a part of daily life that Ariane has a hard time forgetting them. With every new iteration of her memory dream, the world is made a new, a bit different than before but those within that dream aren't always new people, Adler notices this. Falke crossed the Red Gate and as a result was invaded by some of Elster's memories eventually believing herself to be Elster. Thus the final boss fight. Our own Elster doesnt remember much once reality is reset once more and the game begins, except she is looking for someone. The photo she carries however isnt of Ariane but of Isa Itou. One of the few friends Ariane had on Rotfront. Several characters, including Ariane, point out the two look alike. This is referenced with the photos in the game. There are three photos, two of Alina Seo (throughout the game and to her left Elster's original Gestalt, both long dead by now) and one of Ariane (Penrose). It is only after the fake-out ending, where Elster remembers again what the Promise was and why. She then gets up and puts herself back together both physically and mentally, becoming Elster 512 again. But unlike Falke, she is in actually the complete Elster 512. Then reality is reset again, once again we relive a dream of Ariane's memory only to see now that her memory is degrading, "everything around is is being torn apart and put back together but someone or something that doesnt quite understand how it works" to quote Adler. We then seek out the deepest memory of Ariane, her home, remember the depressing, windowless room with the radio from the beginning of the game, thats her room. We then face Falke and when she dies, she touches us, proclaiming for us to be one. Implying that the part of Elster's soul in Falke is merged with us and now we are indeed whole. Adler tries to stop us, because he has figured out that, whenever we fail, things get worse, the memory degrades and reality suffers. Then depending on the ending a few things can happen. The ending in the video - Leave - represents us not being able to go through with the Promise and dying like the rest of the dead Elsters before us. Thus resetting the cycle once more. The Memory ending has Elster 512 reunite with Ariane but the latter doesnt remember anything, without the support of Ariane Elster cannot go through with the Promise and instead decides to die beside of Ariane, leaving it to another instance of herself to fulfil the Promise. In fact we encounter this very moment after the Fake-out ending, when our Elster takes parts for 512 and becomes 512 again. The Promise ending has Elster 512 go through with the Promise. Ending the cycle for everyone but presumably also ending reality, which at this point likely is the merciful option then to leave it in an ever degrading state. The Lily ending has Elster complete a ritual to create her own reality through the King in Yellow. A reality in which she can be happy. A reality in which only three things exist, Elster, the Penrose and the remnants of the happy time she spend with Ariane. Notice I didnt say Ariane, but memories of her, because Ariane is essentially a puppet. And so both of them dance, reliving that moment ad Infinium without the hope of the cycle to ever be broken. In the Lily ending we see a singular eye peering down at the Penrose, though we do not know what entity is peering down at us. It could be Ariane, it could be Hastur. Thats the short version of it.
You got the ending that reveals the least. The other two explain so much more. And they're extremely sad. And I think seeing them make the game so much better. I hope you at least watch them on RUclips.
I'm not convinced it was a deliberate decision to make this two videos, but it's just funny enough to think that it was - so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Not quite right. Picking "quit" obviously makes you realize there's more, yes. In my case tho, I was intrigued by the "begin" option, that was previously "continue". With that, Elster wakes up in the same room at the beginning of the game, so I actually thought I was restarting the game, without going ahead and noticing the differences. I think that's how some people miss the last part. Anyway, amazing game, amazing fake ending.

I thought the worst, it’s just more Indeimaus content thank god.
When I finished the last video I had no idea what the game was about
Now that it turns out there's a part 2 and I've seen it I can proudly announce that I still have no idea what the game is about
Essentially this:
Elster 512 and Ariane are send on a suicide mission to look for a planet outside the solar system.
You got the leave ending :\
That's a shame, the best part about the story's horror is conveyed through the lore
5:34 the nostalgia bomb hit me so good
I'm really hoping that setup with the printout from Sally was completely planned because that is absolute genius.
Well played. I didn't know since I didn't play the game, but I was also wondering wtf that ending was.
First he got fake ending, then he got worst ending that explains nothing and didnt bother to look up what's actually was going on. Very frustrating.
I'm not convinced it was a deliberate decision to make this two videos, but it's just funny enough to think that it was - so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Trolling again with the LEAVE ending, I see. Cant wait for the 3rd vid in this series.
It's an indeimaus video... Theres ALWAYS more beyond the title 😂😂. Love your work legend 🤟
Bruh the music you used for that last boss fight? So fucking good. Love your stuff brother!
I played all the way through Signalis, I was guided by my brother whom at one point accidentally tricked me and made me delete all my data as he panickedly cried “NOOOOOOOOOO”. I thought it was alright, though it definitely isn’t my cup of tea personally
11:13 gunfire lining up with the music, peak maus
SOMA was the best horror without being a horror. One of the most chilling games ever.
I absolutely loved it. Incredible atmosphere, incredible music (remember the bloop-bleep-bleep when you first walk on the ocean floor?)
it had a few jumpscares, but eh, i can forgive it 🙂
God, i never realised how sad the leave ending is- i need to play back through, because promise is sad ad hell but at least it's hopeful.
Yay, he played the rest of the game.
I literally played signalis and thought that was the actual ending, so I guess im gonna go finish it real quick.
No need to apologize. I enjoyed your content either way and reading comments from the first seeing thats a false ending, i knew you’d release a second vid. Don’t care for the game, but the others who wanna “get mad” for what you done can suck it, its your channel, they don’t like it they can leave.
lol oh man that Commander Keen insert....that took me back
That adler at the end was amazing
Two Indei videos in a week? Beautiful! ❤
Thanks for covering this game, it looks great.
I was expecting an early outro bit to happen where the first video ended, but I guess it bamboozled Indei too hard.
I really thought the video ended when it ended but it didn’t even ended it turned out 🤯
Finally got to watch this after playing the game, lovely stuff!
Well I wasn't upset so much as I hoped you'd notice, which you did ^^ thanks!
I just recently finished Signalis myself. And It was fantastic! Held of on watching these videos until I did, but never got around to it quick enough. I'm glad I finally did. Also, does anybody know the name of the music inde used in the Falke boss fight at the end? I've heard it in a lot of his other videos, and its such a banger!
Indei has been playing all the games I want to play but I always watch a holmie who uploads so I'll play the videos on mute with my phone in my pocket to avoid spoilers.
AWESOME!
I was waiting for this!
I didn't see the letters on the butterflies either, you are not alone.
1:00 Yeah that letter tells you what a certain person should and should not do to or with someone.
Technically one can only miss this part by forcibly closing the game, since picking quit/exit option in the menu triggers the gameplay anyway.
@@ClaudioLai2000 I guess that's a fair point, I personally only figured out it is the future since the radio was available in the inventory =) Along with all them documents also I guess
@@alextalker5979 I was too depressed to check at that point 💀
You scared me too much with that title, I was begging that you weren't serious the whole time the video was loading.
COMMANDER KEEN! I just rediscovered a core memory from my childhood. LOVE that game!
Music from Furi, during Falke's fight? A surprise, but a welcome one
I can't believe someone out there actually remembers the "BOOM HEADSHOT!" guy from early golden era RUclips.
I love that I'm not the only one that immediately thinks of FPS Doug when I see "my hands were shaking"
I will forgive you but I have conditions. I demand a VaatiVidya style analysis of the Signalis lore and your theory on the story. Bonus forgiveness if you achieve the other 3 endings without guides. Double bonus forgiveness if you start a kickstarter to fund a community developed artbook for the Signalis universe. Or just play the Dead Space Remake. That works, too.
Much love my man ❤️
That land before time VHS goes crazy hard
Usually stuff like this is a bit too meta for me. I mostly play games once, so I probably wouldn't have known about that either.
Oh, you got the Leave ending. Most people I've seen, me included, got the Memory ending.
That fake ending had me fooled too, but I’m glad their was still more to the story. Final boss was annoying, but I pushed through and got the promise ending.
A great survival horror game, even though I never played silent hill 2 or the old resident evils I like how Signalis implemented elements from them which made it a very unique experience for me.
Top tier VA.
Indeimaus: you have to line them up until you hear this sound"
Sound: Duu Düü Diiii
Me immediately: "kein Anschluss unter dieser Nummer"
I'm glad you saved the Dahmer glasses for your apology.
Aw, man! I was thoroughly bamboozled! Good jape, Indeimaus!
Beautiful final boss music furi Is my favorite game because of the soundtrack
No joke, Pokémon Silver got me as a kid. Never got to the Kanto region. So I always check after credits just in case.
goddamn this was such a youtube move by indeimaus
So many Rachmaninov references in this game, it’s so unusual
He didn't look like what I expected him to. This is not an insult, I'm simply surprised.
I just beat this game like 30 minutes ago and I'll say this...
THERE WERE LETTERS ON THE BUTTERFLIES?! I just brute forced it! 😭
you had me in the first 2/3, not gonna lie.
Can't believe I was goofed and downright bamboozled!!
YES! He came back and topped it off!
And he still managed to get the least satisfying ending possible! 🤣
There are other games like these that are Japanese survival horror called Kuon ( PS2 ) and Forbidden siren 1 and 2 ( PS2 )
Got some monogatari vibes from the flashing text and the ‘violent scene missing’ screen
"I don't really like Sci-Fi Horror..." "Next up, Dead Space!"
