Backing track is synced to 80 bpm. I used a band stop filter to attenuate the original bass (from about 120Hz to 500 Hz; -4dB).
The tab animation is from a Guitar Pro 6 software.

I hope you'll like my cover and It'll help you to play the song the way it was recorded. Keep making the low end sound awesome! :-) - Видеоклипы
I’m a bass beginner and your tutorials have been beautiful
Such a simple but beautiful & epic bassline. I love it! Great cover!
My favorite cure song ever!! I just started finger plucking....the tone is so different but hella better! Thanks harry will be saving this to learn for sure!!! ❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤
Simon Gallup used a pick, so not hella better, not better at all.
i don't like playing with a pick at all but i still wouldn't rank the different tones against each other.
fingerstyle might give you more variety, but there are also some pick-basslines with a tone that is hard to reproduce in fingerstyle - 'lauren' by men i trust comes to my mind here fe
@@deaddoll1361 he plucks on this song watch the music video
@@deaddoll1361you have mental deficiencies
The stationary bar highlighting the currently playing notes is by far the best tab presentation that I have yet come across. It 'sets the bar' if you will pardon the joke. 🙂
This one is more challenging for sure, but what a blast! Cheers mate!
Great cover, well done! Thanks for uploading and including the tab 👍
Great tune!! Excellent job!!
I like the way you do your vids tutorials: the highlighting of the part that’s being played… nails it 👌🏼 good job 👍🏼. Keep ‘em coming 🙂
Love this bassline. Executed perfectly. Thanks!
Wonderful played Harry!
Moltes gràcies per compartir amb tots els vostres coneixements

Aí sim parabéns!
Thank you very much! your video help me to play this great song!
Beautifull man 👍🎶🙏😘
great!!
I like the way live Gallup runs up to that first G
Thanks a lot !!
You’re making this look easy
I know i’m 3 months late, but i still think of myself as a mediocre bassist and i can play this. So with enough practice you’ll be able to play this in no time, i believe in you
Dope🔥
:) Epic guitar part :)
The bass is good because it modestly did not interfere.
Perfect..... No difference.... Bravissimo
Jeez, I played this bass line at school for our band. This is a lot more complicated than I played it! I was happy with the 5's
Wow🙏🏼 👌🏼
11 months later and no comments. A pity. Still, one of the most memorable bass.
nice, I'm gonna get my first instrument (bass) in 3 day and I'm in love with this instrument
also I'm 14 (sry for bad English)
How is it? Are u liking it?
Yeahhhh 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great song and great cover. Feels like you tab'd it in double time or something, no? Makes more sense to me that the song is double as fast and not the drums playing double time and bass in constantly in 16ths notes. But maybe there's a reason why you choose it and I would love to hear it!
what do you thimk of a video of I Want You (Shes So Heavy) from the beatles.
Awesome video btw ;)
Ha, probably give this about 20 goes overthe last few days and nearly getting it down, some of the quick change overs (bridges) are getting me but nearly got it. Thanks for posting.
you probably already know this? Someone on the internet mentioned oh ya you can slow down the playback speed in the youtube video's....I do it all the time been trying to learn Ain't no mountain high enough for months.
Also you probably already know this but another tip is to just to set a timestamp like 1:23 and comment it and just keep clicking on it with low playback speed or full depending on how you learn. I just listen to it a few times and play it over and over until it doesn't feel weird and I'm confident I can hit it anytime and move on. You can get through the toughest songs this way. Don't play the whole song if you can do most of it but miss transitions, if you mess up rewind or set a timestamp and keep playing it until you have it down.
Would love it if you could do Friday I'm in love another song by the cure would be great if you did as I'm trying to find tabs for it but seem to have no luck.
Thank you for actually playing it correctly! Everyone always plays it wrong.
Good Charlotte- The River
hey man how did you make the very last note ring out like that
Dit is een staaltje uithoudingsvermogen op de bass. Knap gedaan op volle snelheid!
Can you use a plectrum instead of plucking?
Thank you for putting tabs on top. Us beginners are always pausing and restarting. Tabs on bottom suck!!!!

Can you do a scooby doo theme song
I love your videos, can maKe The Cure Burn please? THERE ARE VIDEOS BUT WORTH BAD .. YOU DO THEM WELL
Please play the song Valerie - Amy Winehouse ('68 version)
Maybe 2000 miles from Pretenders :D
Absolute banger of a tune, even though most of the music I like is Punk.
Well, post punk is still punk, right?
This is post punk
@@EmoPineapple Not necessarily. Post rock is still rock, but post impressionism is decidedly not impressionism.
@@thegrinderman1090 even with that framework, I think post-punk works, since it retains the purpose and message of punk, while changing the sound and aesthetic and experimenting musically.
Tabs are wrong thr bridge to the verse
Would sound better with a pick..
