PM Lawrence Wong’s greatest asset in my view is his genuine care for people. I hope that while being PM will require him to make tough decisions in future, he will still maintain this sense of idealism, care, and honesty towards people (while possibly developing a harder exterior towards hostile adversaries).

Having traveled extensively and lived in several countries. I must say our PM's speech invoked positivity, farsight and depth. Made me proud of our identity. PM Wong thank you for your National Day Rally Speech last Sunday. It was awesome and very importang for many Singaporeans to think of their own future. Hiwever here are some suggestions for improvement: 1️⃣ need to use a magic cup to take your deep breaths before switching language 2️⃣ future NDRs within your tenure could have been held at movie theatres like Woodlands Causeway Point cinema as you are the MP for that area.
I like PM charisma. Very likeable. From his speech, he is definitely a good strategic and technical planner. I hope he also has leadership quality when he look inwards into some personnel from Government agencies, who may not share his love and concern for Singaporeans in their daily dealings and decision making.
Congrats PM Lawrence, Leaders minds, public at hearts. That's important to have leaders with, kind, empathy, gentle hearts(public at hearts) because they are like water. Water should be put on top, because naturally it flows down, it won't flows up(only by technical means). Everything down will benefited. In other words, only good(kind, empathy, gentle, etc) should be put on top(elected) so that most citizens will benefited, not just few or their cronies. You can witness now what happens when countries are lead by bad leaders, the country is at stake and the world becomes chaos. I believe Singapore is blessed because we elected right leaders(clarity in mind, kind at heart), which among others promotes citizens to respect each others religion, race and cultures, adopt fairness, compassion society, etc. Firm in dealing to those who sabotage these values or trouble maker. Yes, growth is certainly important. Having said that growth by importing foreigners to occupy Singapore, raising property prices is simply not the way forward. Not only do they create a shortage of land, raising prices of essentials like water, medical, etc. Once buildings etc are completed, they the foreigners will leave living a void in Singapore.
2023 jobs go to foreigners. Suggest he take a walk to Changi Business Park, Raffles Place, Bugis, Tanjong Pagar, Marina Bay Sands ,etc? What do you think?
My experience with many TK Tech students: they r quite playful/mischievous, academically good, quite street smart and they seem to keep in touch with their schoolmates long after graduation...

As a merdeka citizen, I find the younger generation are lacking in manners and ettiquette. They feel entitled. We grew up with various campaigns to keep the city clean but that is going down the drain now. I see litter even when there is a bin barely a metre away.

I applaud the government being firm on giving more OFFICIAL parental leaves for working parents and caregivers of newborns or young children. Many managements from companies like ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services Pte Ltd would intentionally give “Poor Performance” grading appraisals as a guise. Resulting in ZERO bonus coupled with a PIP for working parents with newborns whom dare to utilise their entitled paid or unpaid Infantcare leaves!

Anyone thought it was up to $6000 for 6 months? And not up to $6000 over 6 months? Cos i must admit I thought it was up to 6000 every month for 6 months. giving more money to parents to have more children is WRONG! and a waste i heard someone onradio say today it takes away money from those who really need it. also those who use these benefits are the lower income usually. I remembr in the 80s women were being asked to be ligated - compulsory - after the STOP AT TWO CAMPAIGN. Those who dont and have another child, were being penalised and fined by higher delivery charges and child is not given priority in school registration! this is in itself illegal! compulsory ligation! ALL WOMEN WHO HAD TO GO THROUGH THIS INDIGNITY should ask the govt for COMPENSATION! Now when there is a shortage of citizens the govt is giving money to parents to have more children PLUS bringing all kinds of people from 3 rd world countries and making sporeans lives a hell! is this the answer ? We need anti trust laws to prevent companies from working together to control prices unfairly or to create a monopoly. Singapore PAP through Temasek,GIC and many companies control many Singapore big companies like NTUC to suck people money and now prices of many products are high. We need to break them all up. Many people go to Malaysia, Johor Bahru to buy grocery see the truth about Singapore prices. Singapore companies are making money and profit but they raise prices on consumers. To reduce prices and create a competitive market, we need anti trust laws to make prices competitive. Break up big companies to stop the control of prices. Stop making the rich man richer. New way forward.
NTUC supermarkets exist because of food security. It gives the Singapore government a way to distribute food in case of crisis. There’s profound global changes coming.
We can bring back a dead Kallang by simply renaming it as Kallang alive. You cannot do the same for sports. Sports has its own spirit, growth, drive, energy, love, vibes & passion that has nothing to do with any renaming. Sports can only come alive if you picked the right guy for the job. As a merdeka citizen, I find the younger generation are lacking in manners and ettiquette. They feel entitled. We grew up with various campaigns to keep the city clean but that is going down the drain now. I see litter even when there is a bin barely a metre away.

giving more money to parents to have more children is WRONG! and a waste i heard someone onradio say today it takes away money from those who really need it. also those who use these benefits are the lower income usually. I remembr in the 80s women were being asked to be ligated - compulsory - after the STOP AT TWO CAMPAIGN.
Those who dont and have another child, were being penalised and fined by higher delivery charges and child is not given priority in school registration! this is in itself illegal! compulsory ligation! We need anti trust laws to prevent companies from working together to control prices unfairly or to create a monopoly. Singapore PAP through Temasek,GIC and many companies control many Singapore big companies like NTUC to suck people money and now prices of many products are high. We need to break them all up. Many people go to Malaysia, Johor Bahru to buy grocery see the truth about Singapore prices. Singapore companies are making money and profit but they raise prices on consumers. To reduce prices and create a competitive market, we need anti trust laws to make prices competitive. Break up big companies to stop the control of prices. Stop making the rich man richer. New way forward.
NTUC supermarkets exist because of food security. It gives the Singapore government a way to distribute food in case of crisis. There’s profound global changes coming.
