  • Connectors offer a mechanical means to terminate optical cables and to connect to other fibres and active devices. The main requirement of a connector is that the end of the fibre is held accurately in place so that the maximum light transfer occurs. The most common examples of connector types offered are ST, SC and FC connectors.
