    A great night, and what a view you had! :-O Nicely vid'd too, TYVM, fascinating to see it so close, and that JJ + Baz were clearly enjoying themselves as much as we all were.

    Sounds good and all but at the end of the day, they’re a stranglers cover band with the original bass player.

      Time and no bands stand still for 50 years. I first saw The Stranglers in 1978 and thought this Cambridge gig as authentic as it could be these days. Minus of course the new mood of deep societal anger at the time, JJ T-boning stage-invaders back into the pit, bottles of pi$$ being thrown on stage and all the gobbing. Out of that lot all I miss nowadays if JJ 'karate kicking' invaders.

      @@phoenixw2 Really find it quite amazing and good that the band are still with us in 2024. They survived their "Wilderness years" of the 80's & 90's and losing Hugh Cornwell.
