Our first trip with our oldest took 3 planes to get to the Island in Lake Michigan (near Canada where my dad was born) and from our house. We spent the 1st night in Chicago. My 18 mo old travelled well. He napped at the right times. But I remember hearing to pack an extra outfit for YOU! And of course he pulled a cup of OJ all over me mid flight! So I had shorts and Tshirt in the diaper bag! Then coming home we did it all in one day. Like you I had a pack of toys/books to amuse him. Well, it said the flight was 5 hours, but they didn’t say over 1 hour was the airline getting in line for take off! So I went through every toy and still hadn’t taken off! Thank goodness they serve dinner right away so he was content the rest of the way home! Congratulations for you to make it there in one piece!!!
Oh fabulous you two for taking the leap to go for a pre winter sunny 🌞 holiday great planning Elle you did superb 😀 both of you. Yes very normal the dribling of the babies watch out for ear 👂 infections when you come home with teething, going from hot climes to cold ones plus flying can bring this on hope you throughly enjoyed your holiday as a big old family xxxxx
Wow what a journey ..you two need gold medals 🥇 🥇 I remember flying back from Bangkok with our adopted son …. It was a 12 hour flight ..he slept on and off 4 hours ,, the rest of the time awake … my husband and I nearly wore a hole in the planes carpet flooring walking up and down with him … Hats off to Thai Airways they were AMAZING 🤩….❤❤
Oh I hope you had a wonderful family break, view is stunning. It is stressful when you are travelling with children and the planning/packing stage stresses you out along with making you exhausted. the babies did well on the flight, hope you had a good one coming back x
Wow! This brings back memories of traveling with my infant twins and my 4-year-old! I usually made the trip ALONE every summer with the kids. The coast and villa look gorgeous! I sure hope you guys had a blast. Cutting four molars at once is torture! Poor Ari. Put bibs on them, then the clothing stays dry, and you only have to change the bibs frequently. Ellen, your amazing organizational skills made the trip better, I'm sure. Thank you, I loved the video!💙🩵🫂⛱️
Fab and Ell my heart was in my mouth at the gates for you glad you got there safely. One bit of advice 2 big suitcases one each half yours half kids. Your small Amazon one each. Then nappy bag just food/snack/ nappies. I can honestly say jet2 for flying also book priority boarding ring special assistance so you can board first and be settled with the boys. Electric pack most in suitcase. Have a lovely break
Hi Fab and Ell, you I think you have done amazing getting everything organized for your holiday with the twins. Hope you and the boys have a lovely time. Sending you all lots of love and take care xxx 🥰🥰
What a nitemare at the beginning for you guys, but you made it 🎉🎉 Have a lovely family holiday, we shall all be here waiting to hear what you got up to when you get back. Much love xxxx
Honestly guys I think you two are amazing!!! The way u just get on and do everything I really admire you both. You were born to be parents to twins, Ari and Noah are so fortunate to have such lovely parents like you. Have a fab holiday!🎉💖💙💙💙🍾🥂x x x
The first time we took our four children on a flight was when the eldest was 19 and youngest was 13. Trust me that was harder than having two. Trying to get them to limit their clothing as well as having space for gifts. Our trip was to Spokane for Christmas. We were allowed 25kg x2 each it was crazy coming back from their shopping. I hope you had an amazing time. Shame you got stopped for two hours.
Oh good for you going on holiday with the boys . I took my son from Australia to England with a 7 hr delay in Malaysia when he was 14 months old. We both did very well lol. It was actually not too bad. Everyone was very helpful. Hope you had a brill time. You two just rock. Love your videos. Take care. ELL hope you are well.
Thanks for filming when you already had so much to cope with. You did really well to be so organised. For dribbly teething babies I recommend a plastic backed absorbent bib to keep clothes dry and Sudocrem or your choice of nappy cream in the folds of skin on their neck where it seems to be permanently wet.
If anyone deserves a holiday it you!! You are both amazing parents. Forget vloging and ENJOY yourselves, have fun family time and make loads of precious memories with you beautiful babies ❤xxx
Oh wow 🤩 I can remember doing this with 18 months apart and the amount of stuff you had to take. Guys well done 👍🏼 Ellen I get dizzy when I’m stressed and rushing around. Hope you had a fabulous holiday. Love you guys xx
Loved this, you guys are smashing it 🙌 The first time we took our 15 month old on a plane she had a poonami nappy explosion on my lap and then projectile vommed all over me 😷 The worst part was the seatbelt sign had just come on so I had to sit in it for the rest of the flight, and then we discovered we'd run out of nappies in the hand luggage 😅 thank goodness a kind parent gave us one. And thankfully she wasn't ill after that, but I'm scarred for life 😅 This is a PSA to pack spare clothes for EVERYONE in your hand luggage when flying with a baby 😂
Late watching your video this week, but really enjoyed it and hope you had the best time! It looked like you did. ☀️ Bepanthen is really good for the dribble rashes as a barrier especially if it goes to the folds at their neck! ❤
I hope your holiday was fun and somewhat relaxing. I just found out a few days ago that I am going to be a grandma for the first time. The baby is due in June.
Good to have a list but I learnt over the years that we pack far more “stuff” for babies and children than is necessary. You will learn this yourselves as you travel more with the boys.
@@fabandell our daughter did amazing! Her naps were terrible but she still was happy, idk how but I took it. On the flight we kept her bizzy with favorite and new toys and some snacks. Currently stil on our holiday and flying back Sunday. Hoping she will behave as good as she did last Sunday🥰
I'm so glad you got there okay, fingers crossed going home is smoother. In April I took my little one he's 2, to Turkey first time ever on the plane and he cried most of the whole time, I feel like it was mostly my own fault as I didn't really organise any toys for him.. I hope you've had the best week with family xx
Hey Fab and ell and boys hope you all have a lovely holiday. Ell..you can buy mobile highchairs for the boys they clip onto the dining table and are lightweight xxxx
Have a great holiday lovelies🩷 When my daughter was teething, I brought a lot of fabric bibs which I changed often throughout the day which meant I didn’t have to keep changing her whole outfit every time! Try it, it really helps🥰 xx
I don’t know how true it is but I read somewhere that the reason baby’s have to sit next to the window is because there are two oxygen masks above that seat xx Hope you all have a lovely holiday, I haven’t braved taken my little one abroad yet so this video is really useful xx
Have a wonderful holiday 🎉 The teething thing, yes it's completely normal to drench clothes etc. Put vasoline on their chins and around their mouths and nappy cream on top as a barrier. Lots of love 💕
Ahh you guys did sonwell. Such a shame about security. I promise it does get better. Traveling with kids always will be different but they get easier. Youa re doing amazing.
@@fabandell I know as a wheelchair user I can book assistance and pre boarding which can make it less of scramble, I think if you have young children you should be able to pre board. Your right having supportive passengers around you can make a world of difference to the overall stress and experience, enjoy your holiday ❤️
Have a lovely time enjoy your first time abroad with your boys ❤ I applaud you for still vlogging, that journey as looked very stressful ! Lots of love x
I really enjoyed this video. It took me back to when I had to fly with our two boys from Southeast Florida to N. West Tennessee. My oldest was seven years old at the time in my younger son was a year old. My oldest tried to help as much as he could but it was still very stressful. My youngest son decided to have a poo in his diaper about 10 minutes from landing in Tennessee and there was a little girl behind us that had drank milk and was throwing it up in the puke bags provided by the airlines. The two smells combined we’re probably enough to make people wish they could just jump out of the plane with parachutes before we landed! My youngest started to cry because he wanted his diaper changed but, we could not get up and had to stay in the seats with our seatbelts on because we were landing. One of the things that really bothers me, that I don’t do, is complain because the baby is crying. People can be quite rude when a baby cries. I just wanted to stand up and ask this one person if they were born grown and never cried as a baby because they were never a baby. If you fly and there is a crying baby on the plane, please take into consideration that it is not the parents fault so, please don’t be rude to them. Your family villa is beautiful. I think that this family trip went a lot better than the first one you took the boys on and came home early. I hope that all of you had a very fun time. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida.😎🦩🌞🦩😎
Couldn't agree more! If you are complaining about a crying baby then you are clearly not a very nice person and obviously not a parent. Thank you for sharing ❤
I know Ryan air can be rubbish. But was there not an option to have them in their car seats? I've seen other videos where the parents strap the car seat in with the lap belt. You guys are bloody amazing though! Well done! xxxx
Absolutely normal ELL and be very thankful for several teeth come at once and not have to go through the pain, drooling and illness one tooth at a time. All my children popped four at a time.
Hi guys loving your videos 😊 Fab I'm a long term migraine sufferer and I don't know if you have tried this but taking dispersible aspirin at the first sign of a migraine used to really help me, unfortunately they don't work for me anymore due to other health issues but thought it may be worth a try if you are able to use them (apologies if you already know this) 😁 take care!

Oh no!! I think it's sop hit and miss for babies, very mood dependant, did they have a good sleep before etc etc! Literally a game of luck
@@fabandell yes definitely, the 2.5hrs sat on tarmac before even taking off didn't help either. We've learnt from it ha
