Looks like a stretched A Class "limo" not a shrunken S class. Has lost its stately appeal and appearence. Those black plastic inserts in the steering are a nightmare to maintain esp when in high touch areas - will be a scratch magnet.

Well the conventional grille is available on the lower trims and one should be able to get it, just the same way one could upgrade to the diamond grille on any Merc sold after 2013
97 lakhs for a car which used to cost 60 lakhs 4 - 5 years ago!! With reliability issues, no autonomous driving no radar cruise control, shit car, even my 6 years old car has four wheels and a steering and does almost everything this new e class does! 😂
How is the thigh support in the rear seat for someone who is close to 6 ft? The entire review seems to be directed at driving pleasure, the last reason for most people to buy this segment
It’s really good and you’ll get more comfort in 220d or 200 as they get a smaller alloy size by an inch and higher profile also GC is more in them if you are specifically looking it for chauffeur driven
the newer e class exterior is a let down compared to its 3 or 4 gen old ones. It doesnt look elegant it use to look. Now its all sporty trendy type. - By someone who owns an 2012 e class

The 4-cyls are for those who aren't ever going to drive the car. For the chauffeur-driven type, that performance is more than enough.
