    Hey guys! I tried it today. Never cut hair once and even less my own hair but i always wanted to learn so why not. I followed the video guidelines he makes every steo as easy as it can possibly get. However i did not have a small miror frame to look around i just had a big mirror on my bathroom wall and another medium size mirror was was small enough to grab and have in my hands (it would get heavy at times so i would put it down) honestly the sides look dope!! Its like a high-mid bald fade. But the back of my head looks un even you can obviously see the three layers of hair . That is the best part so i would suggest when cutting your own hair have a miror jusy like his to grab and look around your hair. Took mw about 3 hrs to finish

    Please can you explain all of this with milimeters .. what means "levers open" and "levers close". How many milimeters is "close" and how many is "open"... My clipper does't have levers.. I can change size from .5mm to 2mm. My clipper is Moser Genio Pro. Thank you.

    Dope cut man looking nice! I recently started cutting my hair too but I def wanna follow this tutorial because it is really straight forward and the outcome looks great. Even though I use a foldable mirror to cut my hair it is still hard to cut the back part of your hair lol cool stuff!! (:

    Hey Duck Barber, thanks so much for this video. Had a quick noob question. I have the same Wahl magic clip in your video. When I use it to make a guideline, it cuts me/painful when I bring it close to my scalp. What do I need to do? Oil or adjust the trimmer? What is my mistake? Super grateful for your help

    • @DuckBarberMHK

      I think your blade is SUPER zero gapped at the point where a small moving blade is like actually to your skin. When we mean by zero gapped is that you don't actually make two blades completely the alignment, but to make it close enough and leave some space so that it cuts sharp but still safe to your skin.

    Great video dude! If I wanted to start the fad on a No.2 guard as opposed to a No. 3 guard, would the principles be the same? Just a case of moving the fade lines higher up?

    • @DuckBarberMHK
      @DuckBarberMHK  3 года назад

      yes it would be the same! The only difference would be it will just look less "faded"

      Trimmer sometime leaves a line so i use my clipper to erase the initial line
