I was so popping off when another Shulk that wasn't Kome or Nicko's made it to top 8 in a stacked tournament like this one. I'm looking forward more from Jared.
Check out his victory over Dark Wizzy! That was pretty recent too--Jared's definitely leveled up. I'm glad to see he finally got a breakthrough tournament. It's the most damage any Shulk's done to Leo so far.
At 15:03 Leo DID do a grab oos which Jared clearly tried to whiff punish it's just fsmash wasn't in range because of the dash back. Jared was actually this close to winning game 3 vs Leo and actually had the correct read.
Love seeing some Shulk. Character is so good, easily a top-3 sword fighter, but he’s also probably the hardest character in the game to play at full potential.
@@nathanlevesque7812 Except that "one extra thing" is actually a hard af to master mechanic in a fighting game where milliseconds matter. How many Shulk players do you think are top 50 PGR? None dawg. Go win some tournies as Shulk and tell us again is doesn't change much.
@@JoseMartinez-yy5hh Press b button whenever you want, even during hitstun. Move the analog stick. Release b button. Accept buff and nerf. Moveset is still basic swordy stuff, through and through. Wowweeee. The number of ranked Shulk mains has more to do with popularity than anything else. Pikachu, Game and Watch, Pacman, are all great but rare. However, fundamentals are the main hurdle for becoming a top player, not character specific tech. Keep drinking the koolaid if you want to though.

They are just haters, if it wasn't against swordies, it would be against something else. We all know that if you give him Shulk there, in the same game, he would fail everything just because of the pressure and the stress .. Don't waste your time arguing with those guys, who wants to sound "cool" ..

Jared plays well but on the last he tried to much to cheese Leo and maybe his salt affects his gameplay :/
